Family Friendly Rental

The house was clean and comfortable with all the amenities. The kids had a great time on the lake. It was also very close to the beaches and shopping but still felt secluded.

Lovely home. Large rooms for entertaining. Each bedroom has its own private bath. The smallish kitchen was very well equipped. The back yard is as pictured with plenty of seating. While the lake is truly beautiful, there is no beach or landing per se. One enters the water via a narrow bank, making it a challenge to supervise kiddos unless you’re in the water with them. That said, the canoe and rowboat were awesome perks and the garage had plenty of noodles and life jackets. The management company was exceptionally responsive. A few notes for families: the third bedroom, with two beds, is entered from the dining room, on stairs in the (very clean) garage. (Eg walk out the dining room door, walk down to the garage, or up to the bedroom). Not sure I’d be comfortable putting young kids out there. The house is perched on a small hill on a busy road (35 MPH) Though we never heard the traffic, we were careful to keep kids and dogs away from the front yard.

Nice property

It was a lovely house on a very nice pond. Great for kayaking, SUP, and swimming One of the bedrooms is a bit more separated then the other two making it a very nice location for two families or several generations. Some good places to take short hikes nearby. My frustration is more with using VRBO with a big rental agency which manages this property. The will want you to sign a different contract then the one shown on the VRBO site. But otherwise they had it well stocked with basic needs and have an office nearby if you need assistance.

We spent two nights here with the family and had a great time! The house is gorgeous, super clean, and really comfy. It's nice and spacious with great furniture, and there's plenty of room—it would easily work for a group of 7–8.The private waterfront access was awesome, and we loved having the deck and grill. So handy for hanging out and eating outside! The place feels newly renovated and modern too.Our host was fantastic—easy to communicate with, and check-in and check-out were a breeze.Just a couple of tiny things kept it from a perfect score: we spotted a few small bugs and dead bugs (maybe they'd just done a pest treatment?), and the kitchen cabinets are a little squeaky and tricky to open. But honestly, they kept the original cabinets, which adds some charm to an otherwise really nicely renovated house.All in all, we'd definitely come back and would totally recommend it to families or groups looking for a comfy, beautiful spot on the Cape!
