The tiny cabin was beautiful. Fresh, clean, and well stocked/prepared. The only slight negative was the bed in main bedroom was a little uncomfortable and the auto-text check-out reminder that woke me up at 6am on vacation! I told the owners that they need to adjust the time it goes out to 8 or 8:30. Otherwise a great stay, would do it again!
Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower.
We stayed at this location myself , my daughter, my best friend and her daughter and her husband. We all fit nicely in the home. The property was great. Very clean. Check in was easy and they communicated via text which made it SO easy. Everything was as expected and listed. We would absolutely stay here again when we return. The text about local places, hikes and stores etc was So helpful and such a nice touch they add to this experience. We took morning walks around the area with the kids and they loved it. Had a fire in the evenings and did smores. There is a charcoal grill in the property. I didn’t see that in the listing but it was there when we arrived, just needed charcoal! We spent two days in Acadia and hit some seal watching at Bar Harbor Whale Watch company. The only thing I would add is that during the time we went August 7-10, the majority of the time we were at the cabin (morning and evening) the tide was so low that the view right in front of the cabin was just mud but this is just the nature of tides and seasons! Not something we felt was negative by any means as the other side of the road there was beautiful views and water. Can’t recommend this place enough!
