About this property

LAKEFRONT COTTAGE #1 - PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY - LAKE CONSECON RESORT

Welcome to the Lake Consecon Resort.

We are a family friendly campground located in Prince Edward County and situated directly on Consecon Lake.

Our resort features 72 seasonal trailer campsites, and 6 lakefront cottages which we rent out during the camping season.

Our park has many amenities including over 788' of lakefront, private boat launch, recreation hall, kids club arcade, kids playground, outdoor pool, volleyball courts, basketball net, horseshoe pits, coin laundry, remote access security gate, onsite management, visitor parking and much more.


We welcome you to join us for summer filled with fun and relaxation.


BOOKING INFORMATION:

- Minimum 2-Night Stay
- Damage Deposit: $500
- Cleaning Fee: $100
- Completion of our Vacation Cottage Rental Agreement is mandatory.
- Photo ID required at time of check-in.
- Weekly bookings receive 10% discount.
- Monthly bookings receive 20% discount.

This is a family friendly resort with a great community of seasonal campers.
We strive to provide our guests with a quite, safe and relaxing atmosphere for their summer getaway.
This is NOT a place for rowdy behavior or wild parties.
If you are looking to party then please book your vacation at a different resort.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any reservation for any reason whatsoever.

The maximum number of overnight occupants, visitors or guests shall not exceed the maximum number of people that each cottage sleeps.

OUR COTTAGES:

Kitchen:
The clean, well spaced cottages are equipped with full kitchens including a full-size fridge, oven/stove, microwave, hot water kettle, coffee maker (basket filters not provided),
Bedrooms:
The 2-bedroom cottages feature ONE (1) queen sized bed and TWO (2) twin beds. Full bedding is provided for all beds.
Bathroom:
Each cottage is equipped with a 4-piece bathroom and TWO (2) rolls of toilet paper. The cottages have small water heaters so hot water is limited.


Outside:
Each cottage has a deck, a picnic table, a fire pit, table and chairs and a BBQ. One full propane tank included with the rental, and refills are available at the resort for $30.

Entertainment:
Each cottage comes with a television, DVD player and some movies, games and books. There is no cable television services.


NOTES:
1) Our outdoor pool is seasonal, and usually closes around mid September when the weather begins to get cold.

Cancellation Policy:
100% refund 14 days before check-in.
50% refund 7-14 days before check-in.
Otherwise, no refund.

Randy is very good host. He did provide lots information about local market, place to visit. Place is very beautiful with view lake. You get to see beautiful sunset. My kids just love the place. THe issue was with water you cant drink the TAP water. We used bottle water even for brushing our teeth. I dont blame but place is cottage it has lots of bugs inside everywhere. I mean lots of..Other than that place is awesome with lots of activities with kids and for everyone.

Family Getaway

My family stayed at the cottage for 4 nights. From the check in process with Randy to enjoying the sunset outside the whole trip was amazing. North Beach is only 10 min away and it was so nice to check out. I loved how it had a full kitchen as I had my toddler with us and she loved trying to catch dragon flies. Definitely booking next year!

Not new to Picton area but a new lake for us

Very nice spot very close to the water and the boat launch and fish cleaning hut were right out front of the cottage. Could tell that it was freshly renovated. Plenty to do with the kids. The property manager was very friendly and helpful as well as everyone that we ran into staying there seasonly

2 day quick vacation rental

I enjoyed a short stay for the newly renovated cottage #1. as it is a recent rental a few issues were identified and I appreciated the immediate and great customer support from Randy (on site) provided and the ease and relaxation of the environment in general. The pool is excellently maintained. would be ideal for small families. Thanks for having us.

Cozy cottage

We had a relaxing 3 night stay at Consecon resort It was a lovely renovated 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the lake waterfront...Quiet and very clean...our hosts park manager Randy and his wife Patsy are so kind and thoughtful....they also have a great dvd selection for your evening movie nights! Highly recommended! 30 mins from sandbanks beach

Exactly what we were looking for

Very clean ! Super easy to check in with Randy who was very helpful and friendly. The only thing is .. in the description of the cottage, it’s written that we have to bring blankets, towels, paper towels, etc. When everything is already in the cottage ! So no need to pack all those things

Great Spot!

We stayed here as a family of three, with our 4-year old daughter. The cabin overlooks the water, which is really nice to wake up. Randy was very welcoming and available for anything that came up during our stay. They had an early Halloween event for the kids which was such a great touch. Our daughter loved the experience. Everyone on the resort was very welcoming and made us feel like apart of their community. We also found the place to be located in a pretty decent spot, drives to various attractions around PEC for day trips to the beach, lunch/dinner, drinks, conservation areas etc were a breeze. We would definitely come back here. Thanks again!!

Le cottage était correct , mais il aurait besoin de réparations et d’un meilleur entretien. La réservation a été simple et la communication excellente.À notre arrivée, nous avons dû nettoyer tous les cadres de fenêtres (chambres, cuisine, salon et salle de bain) en raison des nombreux moustiques, araignées et autres insectes morts. L’extérieur des fenêtres était encore pire. Oui, c’est normal en pleine nature, mais pas à ce point, et cela ne semblait pas récent.Les lits et les serviettes étaient propres. Le patio, par contre, mériterait d’être rafraîchi.Points forts : Randy est très accueillant, sympathique, disponible et réactif. Les électroménagers semblaient neufs, et la piscine est propre, bien entretenue et peu fréquentée.Points négatifs : La propreté générale est à améliorer. La salle d’arcade est mal entretenue (poussière, toiles d’araignée, moustiques). Le baby-foot était inutilisable et les terrains de basket et de fer sont désuets.Des outardes fréquentent chaque jour le terrain des cottages. Leurs excréments rendent le stationnement, le foyer extérieur; il était impossible pour un enfant de se rendre au quai sans marcher dedans.Enfin, une seule laveuse et une seule sécheuse sont disponibles pour tout le camping. Elles fonctionnent, mais la laveuse aurait besoin d’un bon nettoyage.Malgré tout, nous avons passé un beau séjour en famille et la vue sur le lac est magnifique!

We are a family owned business located in Prince Edward County, Ontario.
This is the first year that we are marketing our fully renovated lakefront cottages for rent on VRBO.
We hope to find guests that'll enjoy the relaxing atmosphere that we've built over the years.
