The spectacular views from this apartment are wonderful. There is a deck off the bedroom as well as off living room then one on roof so many lovely views. The apartment itself is in great condition, bed very comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen perfect. We are giving 4 vs 5 stars due to the management. Check in is contactless, and it is not an easy place to get in. Other reviewers have mentioned the hill, in addition good chance a taxi will not make it to the front door. Plan ahead and be ready to haul your luggage up the hill. Once inside multi steps to get key and get in. For us we followed instructions but key was not where it should have been. After multiple calls to host we found the key ourselves, and made it in. Host over all was not helpful with current information or available to assist.

Host was very sweet. Beautiful apartment with spectacular views! Close to everything, but taxis and Ubers would not come to the door because the street was too narrow. Kitchen had a sour smell ans dryer was all the way down in the basement, but otherwise a very comfortable place. I would recommend it :)

It was a beautiful and well appointed apartment. The view was incredible. It takes some energy to make it up the steps to the apartment, but it is totally worth the view especially from the terrace. We had thought of following Rick Steve’s recommendation to visit plaza Michelangelo for the sunset view but decided it couldn’t be any better than ours. Bellisomo apartmento!

Fantastic stay at this property. The Location is really wonderful, and the view from all 3 of the Terraces is amazing. The Lift is literally right outside the front door to the unit. There are Hills to deal with but nothing too bad and you could also hire a taxi to drop you off right to the front door of the building. The Host was lightning fast to respond Via WhatsApp to any questions I sent her way. I would Highly recommend this Apartment.

The views from all three terraces are stunning, and the apartment is very spacious. We could hear music from across the river in the evenings, but overall it was very peaceful. The neighborhood is beautiful, and the location is less hectic than city center. We had no difficulty finding our way around and walked everywhere.

Wonderful place with a fantastic patio. Enjoyed the location and access. The bedroom air conditioning was not working properly (there is a second unit in the living room), but other than that, we had everything we needed. We will definitely recommend the apartment.

Even better than anticipated

This property is simply amazing. The views are even better than the pictures. The location is about as good as you can get - central to everything Florence related but off the path enough to where you’re not around too many crowds. Everything is incredible clean and the interior decorating makes you feel as though you’re living as a local. And lastly, the rooftop terrace provided the perfect backdrop for a surprise proposal. Cannot recommend enough!

Incredible views!

The apartment has the most incredible views! The balcony/rooftop are such a highlight and my toddler son just loved the little rooftop pool which was such a nice relief for hot days! We parked nearby at Garage Lungarno which was just a few minute walk but do beware that to get to the street the apartment is on you have to walk up a set of stairs - this was not a problem for us but May be difficult if you have mobility problems or a ton of luggage. The actual apartment has an elevator which is great. Would recommend this place to family and friends!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed the stay. I would suggest that anyone with heart issues consider a different location. The location is up hill, then the apartment is at the top of the building. We did not recognize the elevator (lift) at first so took the stairs with our luggage in the beginning. It was pretty rough coming in late at night. BUT that should not detract from the overall beauty of the location. If we’re doing a longer stay in Florence 3-4 days, I would definitely return to this property.

We had 4 nights in Florence and this location was perfect. Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Having a lift in the building was great too.

Look no further for the perfect stay in Florence

Serena’s apartment in Oltrarno is one of the best VRBO experiences of our travels. First of all, the location is excellent. Located just steps from the Main Street with near by market to stock your pantry with breakfast items and local foods. Near Signorvino wine bar & bistro where you can purchase wine and enjoy a meal on the Arno. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with excellent views of the Duomo & Palazzo Vecchio. Easy walk across Ponte Vecchio to the historic center. Easy 3 minute walk to Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens. Three private terraces are perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning and wine for sunset. Serena is very quick to communicate and answer any questions about the area. The apartment is immaculately clean. There is a lift to the apartment to bring the luggage. There is a washing machine which helped as this was the first 6 days of our 25 day stay in Italy. The kitchen has coffee machine and kettle and all you would need to prepare a meal (we didn’t but it would be easy). The bed and bath are roomy and comfortable. We highly recommend this for your stay in Florence. It makes a great homeBase for exploring Pisa, Siena and beyond by train.

Nice place but VERY uphill

We were not told about the exact location that it was an extremely long walk uphill. Hard for taxis to get to the place. I curtains on the windows so no privacy. Everyone could see in. The location was good and close to everything it’s just the apartment was up a VERY steep hill.

Fantastic location with 3 balconies overlooking the city. Spacious and clean, great bed. Full kitchen and large fridge. Only minor is parking. We had to park in the street, not sure if we would get a ticket…

Amazing views!

I stayed at this apartment for 30 days and enjoyed every minute! The views from every room were picturesque! Serena assisted with translation and coordination of our lost luggage from the airlines and saved the day as well as cleaning service and all coordination needed for my stay. Kitchen was equipped with everything I needed and the washer/dryer worked great. The pictures don’t do it justice, more updates inside but they kept the original kitchen. Would definitely return! Keep in mind, there are steps or a hill to get to the entrance of the building. Worth it to justify gelato nightly.
