Una cabaña en el bosque es la sensación de Lirio Woods. Es un espacio tranquilo y privado que incluye un dormitorio de buen tamaño, una amplia sala de estar / área común con un sofá cama plegable, un área para comer, baño completo, cocina (sin estufa ni horno) y lavadora y secadora. Hay un escritorio antiguo para cualquiera que necesite hacer un trabajo.
Su entrada personal al apartamento está en la planta baja en la parte delantera de la casa con acceso 24/7. El espacio es tranquilo, espacioso y privado. Hay estacionamiento en el camino de entrada.
Una excelente escapada conveniente para Asheville, senderismo, Biltmore Village / Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway y el aeropuerto. Hay muchas formas de disfrutar de este acogedor apartamento. Great hide away in the woods

Very thoughtful hosts who brought us fresh flowers from the garden and cider from the Ciderworks next door. We loved the gazebo outside as well as the seats about the fire pit and the relaxing rocking chairs on the porch. There were lots of great books on Asheville and guides and brochures for places in the area. Apartment was perfect for our sojourn, we will be back!

The Photos Do Not Do It Justice!

From the welcoming glass of cider to the final goodbye Lirio Woods made our recent vacation perfect! Katie and Dan could not have been more gracious. The location is set in a neighborhood, but feels like you are tucked into the woods. It was such a peaceful setting. We never even heard a dog bark(did see a turkey cross the road but he was pretty quiet)! Katie has thought of everything to make you feel at home. The furniture is comfortable and inviting. Check out the recliner-it was my favorite place after a long day of hiking. Thank you both for providing such a wonderful haven. We hope to see you again.

This property was beautiful and peaceful. Everything shown on the site is exactly what it looked like! Being from Florida and staying at the site in December, we appreciated the fireplace and cozy surroundings. Communication with owner was fantastic and we would definitely stay there again!

Nice Peaceful Property

My 8 year old daughter and I stayed here for a couple of nights and it was just what we needed! It was a quiet area, even with the cidery open. The living space was quite a bit bigger than I expected too. Katie was so accommodating as well! Great experience!

Peaceful Property

We enjoyed the apartment very much. My husband and I booked it for a month and were very pleased with the home which had plenty of space and was quite comfortable. The hosts were kind and thoughtful and it was fun to have their cidery right next door. Be sure to try the ciders and the carrot cake which was amazing. 5 Stars all around!

A relaxing stay just out of town

We really enjoyed out stay at Lirio Woods. It was in the perfect location. Close enough to Ashville to enjoy the city but far enough out of town to think you were in a cabin in the woods. Very easy to get to. Our favorite part was coming home to a wood burning fireplace. Katie was a gracious host and checked in often to see if we needed anything. The place was comfortable had everything you would need for a short stay away from home. I would definitely stay here again.

PERFECT for me!

This is the second time I've stayed here for 1 whole month. Returned because it is so close & convenient to amazing places.. including downtown Asheville, outlying towns, &.. The Biltmore. This time I purchased an annual pass & reserved a Biltmore house tour almost every day during my month long stay. I overnighted at quiet, peaceful, modern Lirio, where the owner has created a fun cider house next door. During the day, l had a short drive and month long tour of the incredible Biltmore mansion while they decorated each room with twinkling Christmas lights. I also walked the beautiful Biltmore gardens filled with mums and autumn glory, along with Deerpark, and more! I ate like royalty with so many incredible restaurants and foods nearby. My month long stay here was totally fun & incredible!

Relaxing

It is in an extremely convenient location. Checking in was a breeze. The parking spot provided is just a few steps to the door. Everything was clean and organized. My favorite part was the glider rockers on the front porch. I enjoyed the quiet feel to the area.

Lirio Woods was perfect

We enjoyed our stay at Lirio Woods. The place was very very clean, and they provided everything we needed . Katie kept great communication, many little extras and the fireplace was our favorite after hiking each evening. Highly recommmend !

Relaxing Getaway

The property was clean and spacious, and the owners were great. There were a lot of nice touches, such as the ready to light fireplace, water pitcher in mini fridge, carrots for horses, and the Barndoor Ciderworks next door. The wife and I enjoyed our stay here as much as our visit to Biltmore.

Perfect for relaxing and it’s close to Asheville!

Lirio Woods was just as described! It was so quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the front porch! Katie has thought of everything, even down to providing carrots in the fridge to feed the horses next door! Easy access to Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway and many other places. Several restaurants with great reviews within minutes of the property. Property was super clean. Felt super safe there too! We liked being able to get to Asheville from alt-74 (just minutes from the property), that way we could avoid the I-26 construction traffic. It felt like we had a super secret back way to get into and around Asheville!!! We will definitely stay here again!

Country Comfort

Katie's place is great. Spacious, comfy and just a perfect space for my needs. I was there for 2 months while relocating to Asheville. I took long walks in the area on country roads and thoroughly enjoyed watching spring emerge. Katie is wonderful. Very helpful and inclusive. As I am staying in the area, I look forward to continuing contact going forward. Communication was excellent. My daughter was furloughed due to Corona and Katie was great in helping to accommodate her with a mattress pad for the pull out couch. Thanks Katie for such a great stay

Enjoyed our short stay

Rental was clean and as described. Owner was helpful with questions and recommendations. It’s far enough out to be quite but close enough to get to places if needed. Really enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.

Long Weekend Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a few days right after Christmas and really enjoyed it. We sat on the front porch when we first arrived because it was nice outside. We went to Asheville one day and Chimney Rock the next. There were some board games on the coffee table so we played those in the evening. Location was good. Quiet but not far from a grocery store or two.

PERFECT FOR ME!

PROPERTY Comfortable, well maintained, modern. Larger than I expected. Nice furniture & bathroom. Separate bedroom from living area. A HUGE plus is your very own washer & dryer within the rental. Several seating areas inside & out. Windows front & back. Comfortable temperatures. The owner is pleasant, on site & easily available who gives you your privacy, so you feel totally at home while they make cider from scratch & apples:) It has a microwave, electric skillet, & coffee gadgets. Please note it has a small, dorm size refrigerator & no stove/oven. But if you need a stove in the Asheville area, you are totally crazy because this is an incredible getaway to experience locally harvested, professionally prepared cuisines from all over the world. LOCATION This location is wonderfully safe & in an area with many new builds & gated communities. Neighbors are out walking & enjoying the wooded surroundings & bird song. Two horses count the days to the weekend & congregate at an adjacent corner to nibble at carrots found in your fridge. As stated in previous reviews, this property has quick access to Alt 74, a convenient divided highway that leads to a point in which you access all major interstates into Asheville including the Blue Ridge Parkway (BRP). Downtown Asheville is a convenient, quick 15 minutes from the property. The access from this property on to 74 has a light, so you feel safe. 74 never had a slow down the month I stayed at the property. Turn right on 74 to Chimney Rock & Lake Lure. Use your gps & navigate to Hendersonville & Flat Rock to the southwest. Watch for small crooks in 4 way intersections, or you'll miss your turn off. WHAT DID I DO FOR A MONTH?? Oh my gosh, if you only stay a weekend, you are missing the incredible wonder of this area. Just the BRP takes a week to go to the Visitor Center, get your National Parks stamp, enjoy the Folk Art Center, then take 2 or 3 days to go north on BRP & all the communities along the way.. Orchard at Alta Pass, Little Switzerland, Grandfather Mountain, Mt. Mitchell. Take a day or 2 to go south on BRP & Pisgah, Brevard, Cashiers. Downtown Asheville has the Urban Trail. Find the cat overlooking the street below. Check out artisans at the Kress Emporium, Heck, artisans are EVERYWHERE!! Just the River Arts District takes a couple days. The owner is an artisan-entrpreneur with the WNC Cheese Trail & finely hand crafted cheeses cave aged that you have to taste to sense what a truly fine cheese is.

I made my home in Asheville years ago to open a small cheese business. I was drawn here because of family living here and the beautiful countryside of Western North Carolina. I love hiking and camping (when I can find the time!).
I manage a small creamery in Fairview, Blue Ridge Mountain Creamery, and recently opened Barn Door Ciderworks with my life-partner Dan.

This property is rural and still convenient to downtown. Located in Fairview, although the mailing address is Fletcher, it takes no more than 15 minutes to be in Asheville. The property is also close to Blue Ridge Mountain Creamery, the business I manage. Dan and I decided to add Barn Door Ciderworks to the property in November of 2020 so we have the convenience of living in the upper two stories of the building, and having one of our other businesses right next door!

Lirio Woods is located in Fairview down a beautiful country road dotted with homes between pastureland and woods. It is no more than 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, beautiful hikes, and the airport. Our neighbors are two horses who love carrots and apples, and on weekends we can offer a local place to grab a meal and something good to drink right next door at Barn Door Ciderworks.
