Great vacation

Everything that was listed in the description & photograph was true! I only rated cleanliness as 4 because there was sand all over the floor prior to arrival. But other than that, we approved of our condo and we’d stay there again!

Loved it!

This has been our favorite place to stay so far and we stay somewhere different each year. The only thing that could have made it better is to have beach chairs paid for.

Room was dirty, no help available

The room appeared as though it had not been cleaned, there was no one available to help. I called panhandle getaways and they even tried to reach someone and we're not able to. The condo itself is nice, but definitely needs a deep clean. The Splash resort is not set up well. The elevators are slow and not enough if them. There is rarely staff available.

Very dissatisfied

We were very dissatisfied with our stay. The beds had sand in them upon arrival. The door code did not work & we had to call for a new door code, not to mention they wouldn’t even allow a 5 minute early check in. The air conditioner does not work if the balcony or any door is open. The air conditioner does not cool. The listing originally stated that the reservation would include a set of beach chairs. However once COVID-19 hit, the owner of condo did not renew their contract with beach service. After one and half weeks of arguing with panhandle getaways & providing a receipt (as asked) of beach chair rental, we were denied a refund for a set of beach chairs. If a listing includes services, they should be provided with the stay regardless. Everything about this condo/ facility was inconvenient. The pool staff were unfriendly. Their is a long walk from condo to parking garage. The elevators take forever to move to each floor. The halls are very hot with no air conditioning.

Beautiful condo

Condo was beautiful and very spacious. Only issue we had was no sheets or blankets for either pull out couches and no email back during our stay.

Family vaca

This was an okay property. There seemed to be alot of repairs going on. But it was the off season. Check in process was unorganized. Took a while to find our room due to the numbering system and the lack there of. Our room was spacious and we had plenty of room.

Nice but flaws

It was a nice condo, well maintained. The beach area was nice. The pools and around was clean. Although, the tv in the living room did not work, the freezer was messed up- we lost all of our frozen food. The light over the stove did not work, therefore it was difficult to see when you cooked. The condo stayed hot (the doors stayed shut). The slash pad had maintenance going on during our stay.

Nice condo and we would stay again

We had a great time and at the end of the day, it was a great condo that we would stay in again. Pros: The condo was clean and peaceful. The beds were some of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in at a condo too. There was plenty of space at the pool and it was nice having two options. All of the staff was very nice and the bathrooms around the pool area were very clean. Cons: We had some trouble getting in the condo upon arrival with door code. When we called they were incredibly helpful and apologetic but we had to get a new code and I had to follow up for them to actually send us the new code through the app/text. We couldn't really leave the condo until we had it so that was a bit frustrating. We also had to call to inquire about bath towels and the promised starter supply of toilet paper and soap. This also required two phone calls. Each time, the person I spoke to was incredibly helpful and apologetic. The attached in-law suite is a bit weird. You only share a common door but the guests staying during our stay were incredibly loud and went in and out of their door a lot (and it was in the morning a lot too). It's not a deal breaker but I think a small note in the description of the condo would be a nice heads up. We were told my husband and I couldn't enter the indoor water park area to even help our three year old up the steps or even to get him comfortable with it. We weren't trying to "play" on anything but only show him what was there so that was a bit frustrating. We didn't spend much time in that area anyway because of that and the water was freezing.

Beautiful beach getaway

This condo is outstanding. The Splash resort is amazing for children as well as adults. My in-laws enjoyed the lazy river, while the kids enjoyed the splash pad. The queen bunk beds are super sturdy and very comfortable. The internet worked great. The condo is located on the slower end of the strip, so traffic was never a problem. It was still really close to everything as well. You have to eat at the Wharf for the best seafood/crab legs buffet. Try the she-crab soup, you won't regret it. We will definitely be back!!!

Gorgeous views

The only thing I would suggest is a little more organization within Splash. We arrived early and I was provided an early arrival check in code. I used this code for 24 hours then it no longer worked. Our original code we were provided in an email prior to our stay didn't work the whole time we were there. After a few calls and transfers to other areas I was supplied another code that worked. Other than that the location was great and the condo was very nice.

Highly recommend this condo!

5 floors up was perfect- we could see stingrays swimming in gulf from our room. Liked not have no condo that overlooked pool- more peaceful. Liked the huge wall of windows next to dining table and sliders in LR—more water views than other condos. Furnishings were current, clean and tasteful.

The actual condo was just as the pictures looked- stunning! Beautifully decorated!

The only drawback to this specific unit was the “mother in law” suite that was attached to this corner unit. It was unfortunately rented to a family with small children and we heard a baby crying every day. It negated the privacy we had hoped for in the corner unit because we could see their balcony from our living room and it practically touched our bedroom balcony. Splash is a great family friendly place and our condo was gorgeous- just wish this unit wasn’t connected to the other....
