We had the best stay! The location is perfect. Its close enough to Sister Bay but avoid the traffic. The property was great for our big group (10 dog). The fishing right off the pier was fantastic for the kids. My nephews even caught a few small Bass. Highly recommend this stay for a family or group. Deb and David were so helpful and had fabulous recommendions.

Great place for a girls weekend

Beautiful property in a great location. Dave and Debbie were wonderful hosts. They showed us around the property and had many recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The house is well equipped and has a deck and a porch that are perfect for relaxing and watching sunsets. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location and stay

We loved the home and the property. We spent time in the water, and also used the bikes for rides in the countryside. The location is close to everything but also secluded so we could join in the town fun or stay in and relax on the water. I enjoyed my morning coffee watching the various birds diving for crayfish (?) saw lots of gulls and pelicans, and an egret one morning. lovely sunsets!

Amazing location, gorgeous view, great accomodations

We stayed in the house for a week. We had everything we needed (kitchen, linens, cleaning products, paper products) and the owners were VERY attentive. The dock was great for parking our boat during the daytime. The only comment we would have would be letting guests know that there was no central air. There were 3 window units in 6 bedrooms and lots of fans, but it was in the high 80s the first two days we were there and it was pretty uncomfortable, especially in the kitchen/dining area, even with all the fans. We had one guest who has health issues and she really had to stay in or near her bedroom during that time. By and large, great property and owners. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful experience

Overall our experience (8 adults and 7 children) was spectacular. The hosts greeted us upon arrival and gave us a detailed overview of the property. The property itself was amazing. A great location a short ways out of town and right on the water. The rental unit was very clean and very spacious which was exactly what our group needed. The highlight of the unit for us was the enclosed porch on the lakeside of the house. It had windows on all sides, was heated and was the best place to watch the sunset (or sit in the morning with coffee as the sky lit up over the water). The bonfire pit near the water was also a big hit. We will definitely be looking into booking this property for future trips to Door County!

Family Reunion

We rented both houses at Debbie and Dave's property. We had seven people sleeping in the cottage and fifteen people sleeping in the house. We all had a comfortable bed. I thought the bathroom situation might be a problem but to my delight everything went good. We all had a good time and would stay again. The location was convenient especially for visiting Sister Bay.

Wonder Green Bay front property!!

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The property is right on the water and has all the amenities that our family needed. We have 10 adults and to babies and it was very comfortable. I highly recommend the property!

First annual sibling trip

This property is incredibly beautiful and is in an excellent location. Close enough to town to be convenient but away from the noise. Right on the water. David and Debbie could not have been nicer! Always available if you have questions and very friendly if you just want to chat and find out more about Sister Bay. We are already looking forward to heading back next year!

Great Family Retreat!

My family and I LOVED our stay at Dave and Debbie's cottage. I don't know if I can say enough good things about it! Dave and Debbie are exceptional hosts -- ready to greet you upon arrival (with a cherry pie and donuts no less), and help with anything you need to make your stay perfect. The views of the sunset are amazing, the family enjoyed sitting on the porch, on the dock, or by the firepit in the evenings looking at the view and listening to the sound of the water as it lapped the shore. So much room for our family together time, we never felt crowded or cramped. We will stay here again in a heartbeat! The views and location are perfect.

Great Family Experience

Debbie and Dave couldn’t have made our family trip more perfect. The cottage was well stocked, clean and absolutely the best place for three generations spending time together! Their attention to detail made our time there relaxing and enjoyable. Unfortunately two permanent docks started six months ago made 4 out of 6 days interesting watching though noisy watching backhoes digging and drilling. I know they will be beautiful when finished.

We would stay again in Heartbeat!

We had 12 in our group. We have plenty of room in the house. The house faces the Michigan side. It had an indoor porch/sunroom, two outdoor porches and a fire pit. The house is very close to Sister Bay and all the villages on the upper part of Door County. An example it is 22 minutes to the Washington Island ferry from the house . Plenty of Parking. The owners live next door and were quick to respond to any questions we had and were not intrusive . Deb did have a big cherry pie for us when we arrived. You won't be disapointed!

Great Location

Recently stayed at this property with family (Grandparents, their children/spouses and grandchildren ) during the Fall 50 run. The location was great as is was very near the race start point and obviously it's on the water which was beautiful. We had everything we needed, laundry was super convenient and we had plenty of space. The hosts were great and even let the kids help feed the fish. We hope to stay again!

Awesome house, great location, super great hosts!

My husband and I needed a quick get away for a few days. I had never been to Door County and we were looking forward to exploring the area, We wanted something on the water, and we found this great house. Debbie met us upon arrival, showed us all around the property and even had an amazing cherry pie for us. Super clean and more rooms than we needed. The view was awesome with a great firepit. Debbie and Dave are super nice and very accommodating. We've already started to discuss a summer vacation with all of our friends in 2022. Can't wait to visit again!

Stellar spot on Sister Bay!

A five day fall getaway for our family was enhanced by staying at this expansive property right on the water. Dave and Debbie met us upon arrival with friendly smiles, informed us of the basic layout of the property, and then left us to enjoy our stay. (They were never intrusive, and always smiling and available if we needed anything...not to mention the tasty cherry pie they provided us in the kitchen!). The property has room for larger groups and while we were only four with a toddler and a dog, we felt it allowed each of us space for either family time or solitude. It is not The Ritz, but one feels "ritzy" by the location, the layout, and the cozy feeling of a wonderful waterside home. Thanks so very much!

Family vacation

Nice for a family get together. View from porch is lovely but a bit hard to get to the hosts pier for older persons. Also hard to get down to the fire pit. Nice of host to leave us cherry pie and donuts.

Delightful place

We were staying for long weekend celebrating my father-in-law’s 80th birthday. Debbie/Dave are wonderful to work with. They met us as we arrived. Gave us “tour” of their properties. Very well kept up. Cleanliness through out our house./properties. Friendly great to work with. Very comfy home to come relax in beautiful Door County!
