Wonderful facilities

We had a business trip of 9 people. Everyone slept well and was comfortable. The large Kitchen/living area made for a great meeting space! Outdoor area was set up to relax and unwind. Close to downtown! 5 min Uber ride or a 20 min walk. Owner was very accommodating

Beautiful house, comfortable for large group

The house is beautiful, comfortable and well-stocked. We were within walking distance of downtown. This was the second stay for our group of 10, 5 couples. We will be back!

Perfect for our LARGE group

The hosts were quick to respond and answer all questions. The whole process was easy and without any issues. The hosts were accommodating and let us check-in early and check-out late. We appreciate the snacks. We were a large group and rented the entire property for a wedding weekend. The location was 10 minutes from the venue. Each family had a suite where the parents got a room, and the adult kids slept on pull out sofas. The larger suite with the big kitchen was great for our group to have breakfast together. We all enjoyed the firepit each night. It was nice that wood was available and there were plenty of chairs. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies. Suites #5&6 are more modern and newer. Suite #1 was spacious and had a nice bathroom and large bedroom and kitchen. Suites #2 & 3 were not as comfortable. It is a bit dark and crowded with small bathrooms. I feel like these suites need to be updated. If you have suite #2 then people will be walking thru your suite to get to suite #1. We did walk around to the front of the property to go through a front door to avoid sleeping guests in #2 but the door will not close unless locked so then you have to leave it cracked to get in. Then you will hear all the traffic noise. I thought the property was more isolated based on the picture, but it is on a busy main street. There are SO many sticker burs in the yard. BEWARE!! Do not go barefoot anywhere--even in the house. They were all over our shoes and socks. And they hurt!

Lovely Stay in Fredericksburg TX

Lovely home in Fredericksburg, TX. Accommodations were great for 10 adults for one week! The only thing that kept it from being perfect was no washing machine and dryer. Highly recommend!

Family birthday

Great place for a multigenerational gathering. Lots of room for the kids to play outside and for the adults to gather. Comfortable and homey - it was exactly what we needed! Ted was a great and responsive host. Everything was accessible and explained. Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic home in Fredericksburg

Our game group trip was definitely enhanced by our stay in this house. The individual suites work very well together. The house is comfortable, well decorated and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious, with room for 5 couples to cook, eat and play board games all at the same time. Suite 3 was our main gathering, but we did use other suites tables for puzzles and games at times. The host was responsive, kind and very helpful. This house is convenient to town and any activities around Fredericksburg. Our group is already looking at coming back to this house.

Abby's Place is Remarkable... you'll want to come back!

This was my second stay at Abby's place. The first was for a business retreat and this trip was for a couples getaway. I can sum it up best by saying that the 4 couples who joined us wanted to know when we could all return. Abby's Place is a special place in beautiful Fredericksburg. Ted and Leah go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect upon arrival and throughout your stay. I guarantee that your stay will be full of great memories.

Perfect group lodging!

Stayed here with extended family for a reunion! So convenient for everyone to have their own private sleeping place, but also a large central gathering area. Cute and rustic. Amazing location right near everything and you can’t beat the price!

Perfect size for large group

This place was so amazing. Check in was super easy, and everyone had their own little space. Our group was big enough to need the 2 detached suites for all of the couples to have a bed. My kids slept on a pull out couch in one of the back suites of the main house, and they were able to go to sleep long before the adults, without hearing us! The kitchen is well stocked, as are the bathrooms. I always bring my own toiletries, but it was nice to see them stocked anyway! The home felt like a good old family farm house. We will definitely keep this place in mind for any large gatherings in our future!

Great Place for large Group!

We had a wonderful time at Abby's Place! This property was perfect for our large group. We sat outside in the evenings and grilled after wine tasting all day. It was nice to be able to relax. Everything was very comfortable.

Fredericksburg family haven......what a great place to be with family!

This property allows everyone to be together, while providing enough space for everyone to have privacy and allowing everyone to separate to rejuvenate. Loved sitting around the firepit, enjoyed cooking on the grill and cooking in the large kitchen. Thank you for decorating for Christmas! We throughly enjoyed the weekend and look forward to our next visit!

Wedding Weekend

Wonderful stay at Abby's Place! The house was perfect and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was great for all of our meals and everything you would need was there. The house rooms and outside suites were better than the pictures. We will definitely return to Abby's place and tell our friends about it. The best thing is Ted is an awesome host. He was so great to work with and always there if you need him. This is your place for a small or large group!

Great Bachelorette Weekend

We had 14 people for my daughter's bachelorette party and this house had plenty of room for everyone! The gathering room gave us plenty of room for a group dinner, game playing and lingerie shower. The house was clean, beds were very comfortable, except for the sleeper in suite 5 which was tilted so much with the head down that my daughter had to put her head where the feet are supposed to be, kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils one would need, and bathrooms were small but nice. Everyone had a great time and we would definitely consider this house for future group trips!

Family Reunion/Vacation

We are a couple with five grown kids who live in five different states! This home was perfect for us with the right number of bedrooms for our married couples, space outside to sit in the evening, good size kitchen for our sons who love to cook, and a kitchen table big enough for us to enjoy a meal together!

My wife Leah and I have fallen in love with Fredericksburg and our Abby's Place! Suite 1 is a rock house built in the 1880s. Suite 2 was added on in 1920s. Suites 3, 4 and 5 were added in the mid 1990s and a bed and breakfast property was created on an acre in the heart of town. Lots of charm and comfort to start with and then we had such fun lovingly furnishing and decorating each unit with a different theme that seemed fitting.
The whole complex has 5 bedrooms (2 kings and 3 queens) with 5 bathrooms and 5 separate living rooms, each with a sofa sleeper. Plenty of space for those in your group to spend time alone or together. We have listings that allow you to stay in 1 suite or to rent several together for your group to enjoy time together. Look for our other listings! The whole complex sits on an acre with plenty of space to sit outside at night by the fire and gaze at the Texas stars!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Abby’s Place is conveniently located in town near the heart of the shopping but it sits on an entire acre of land with a windmill! We love sitting outside at night around the firepit. We are amazed at how many stars you can see in the sky even though you are in town. The trees provide shade during the day as you play horseshoes or washers outside.
