Lovely, comfortable house!

Very comfortable and well located house just off Cliff Road. House is open and airy and we thoroughly enjoyed the newer, spacious kitchen. We loved being near Steps Beach, the bike path and town. Owners were flexible, accessible and friendly.

Great week on ACK

We had a great week staying at The Cliffhanger. The house was as described and a good layout for families. It was about a 25 minute walk into town, but we did that at least once, often twice a day, just to avoid dealing with in town parking. We also easily walked to steps beach (about a 12 minute walk), and the beach wagon, chairs and beach towels were easy to access and in good shape. Be aware that the bunk-room gets light early as it’s in the morning sun and light creeps through the blinds (not a huge issue for us). We did not do a lot of cooking, but the new kitchen renovation is lovely.

Lovely Home

We had a really nice stay at Cliffhanger! The house is gorgeous, maybe even better in person than in the pics. It is an upside down house, which took some getting used to, but that affords some nice sight lines from the common areas. The master bed was cozy and luxurious. The only mark down for location is that there was construction going on right next door while we were there and there is a giant pit that was our view during the stay. If you are looking for summer 2023 or beyond, I am sure that it will all be done by then - the workers were moving along. Otherwise, the house is right on the bike path, which is great, and close enough to bike to Steps Beach and into town.

Fantastic Overall Stay

Everything about out stay met our needs and standards. The home is beautiful, clean, spacious, and in a perfect location right next to the beach and town. Mary answered all of our questions, gave us great recommendations, and was responsive every time we reached out. This was the perfect vacation experience and I can't wait to be back. Highly recommended!

Great location with convenience to Ferry, ACK, Town, bike path and beach. Lovely place with relaxed feel. Mary also made herself available for quick questions! I hope to be back!

Fabulous home in an excellent location

Mary couldn’t have been easier to work with. or kinder I’ve rented many times in Nantucket and while all homes have been nice, this one is a fabulous property in a great location on the Island. Close to Steps Beach (a favorite) where I’ve never not seen a seal up close and personal. It is also close to downtown and the best lunch place on the island, Something Natural. I would definitely rent this home again.

Beautiful and comfortable house in amazing location!

My family had the pleasure of spending three weeks at this house in August 2018, and we loved it! The house is beautifully decorated in a beach-chic style, and it was very clean and comfortable. The 2nd floor living areas are open and airy, making it easy for the family to spend time together. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the two full bathrooms are very well done. We absolutely loved the location -- very close to Steps Beach (among others), town, and right on the bike path -- perfect for beautiful bike rides and runs. The house was very well-stocked and had everything we needed, and the owners were accessible, helpful and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again!

Perfect Family Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation especially enjoying the house and all it has to offer. As a family this house was perfect for us to enjoy time together upstairs in the living room as well as privacy in the bedroom areas. The deck was wonderful for relaxing outdoor meals. It a great location as it is just a short drive to downtown and beaches and close to bike paths. We are looking forward to being back in the house next year!
