Absolutely wonderful home away from home!!!!

We loved staying here!!! It was clean, spacious, charming….had the best view on the beach! I would stay here again and again!! Absolutely great location! Highly recommend!

Our family has enjoyed this Condo for many years. It is our favorite on the island. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Our stay was great! The host was amazing with great communication. The location was very nice with 2 beach accesses and plenty of restaurants and dessert locations within walking distance. 10/10 would recommended and we will be staying here again in the future

Great stay!

Such a nice loft, great view to the beach. Actually a 10 minute walk if you decided to walk to the board walk. Def recommend.

We'll be back!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! We had 5 people and there was PLENTY of room for at least 2 or 3 more. The views are unmatched. It was sooooo quiet and peaceful. The beach access is private and steps away. We had a very relaxing stay! The condo is clean and had all the amenities! There is a washer dryer, 3 full bathrooms. A toaster in the kitchen would have been useful and a broom/mop would have been great to sweep up little bits of sand and dirt. We did find a small pan and brush under the sink. There is plenty of cleaning supplies and coffee filters, salt pepper, saran wrap. Bring your own paper towel and napkins. We LOVED it and have referred friends ❤

The view and location is amazing. Sunrises are in a perfect spot. You're a 20 minute walk on the beach from the boardwalk but you're not in the middle of crowd. The location is fantastic. Space is great, the loft is a nice feature that our girls loved having. Now the problems. The communication score would be lower, but it improved once we arrived. Weeks would go by without hearing back until I said something to the owner an magically it got better. Once we got there, the lock to one of the pools wouldn't work right to where they ended up taking the lock off and closing one of the pools for the entire week we were there. I get it, a liability concern having an unlocked pool, but the entire complex had one pool to use for a week in the summer and it got crowded. Not the end of the world but unnecessary. The pool that was locked an unable to be used had a camera from one of the individual units (A16) pointed right at it. There are signs saying the area is under surveillance. That's fine, but to have it coming from an individual unit pointed right at the pool where my kids play is concerning. We notified the owner of all these things and I don't know if anything was done. The water in the unit from the tap, shower, and washing machine had issues to the point that our towels (that we provided for ourselves) have brown stains from being washed in their water. I'm out of characters, it's a nice place but you can do better for the money given there are no linens

Dirty, needs updating, but you can't beat it's location and views

This property is hard to review because I'm so conflicted about it. Pros: Amazing amazing amazing views. Ate most meals on the lanai watching the waves roll in and pelecans fly overhead. You just simply can't do better. Amazing beach access. Take the stairs down from the condo and there's the gate to the beach. It's steps. Bonus points, you're away from public accesses and high rises with their hordes of people. While you don't have the beach to yourself, it's not at all crowded. Easy to social distance and still enjoy the beach without having to worry about the coronavirus! Kitchen is pretty well equipped, there's more plates, silverware, pots and pans than you can shake a stick at. No sharp knives, but that's to be expected in a rental. Stove looks brand new and the fridge and a very productive ice maker. Carol, the owner is responsive, friendly and helpful. Owner has left some beach chairs at the property for guest use! Cons The place wasn't very clean, there's stains on the carpet in quite a few places, the comforter on the loft bed was yellowed with age or use. Had to wash the pots, pans, dishes and flatware when we got here. Most had crumbs in them, or were sticky from who knows what. The place isn't in the best state of repair. Drywall is crumbling in places, baseboard missing in others. The carpet on the lanai is lumpy. The silverware drawer wants to fall apart and some of the kitchen cabinets are crumbling and shed wood crumbles into the pots and pans. The upstairs loft seems to be an after though, the bathroom has no venting and isn't connected to the HVAC at all. It was always hot in there. The whole loft has two vents to blow cold air in. If you wanted the loft cool, the downstairs had to be quite cold. This is especially a problem because the second queen bed is in the loft. The kitchen triangle make no sense and leaves a cramped space even less efficient. The fridge and sink are right next to each other and then on the other wall is the microwave and then stove. No space for getting things in and out of the fridge without having to walk across the kitchen. Not a big deal, but it was frustrating. The condo has no elevator. Not a big deal to me, but it bothered my parents. This is on top floor. I know I've put a lot more in cons than pros, but really I do recommend this place. If the owner updated the place and cleaned it more thoroughly it could easily rent for more. It's location and beach is second to none, you can't beat it.

Great Views

Seriously great views - I could live on the porch! Wonderful location near restaurants and within walking distance to the Tiki Bar. On the third floor so be sure everyone is good with the stairs. Had a wonderful time and enjoyed the condo. Not a great kitchen if you are planning to do a lot of cooking, but for light food prep, it is fine.

Perfect space for our girls trip, we had 30yr old to 70 yr old. 6 girls, we all slept well, ate well, loved the ocean front deck.. access to beach. Perfect lace. Thank you!

Great place!

Overall, this condo is great if you're looking for a place on the beach with gorgeous views for a reasonable price. No doubt that it can use some updates- but it does the trick for two adults and 4 teenagers. The one issue I had were the pools not being open as it shows in the listing. If/ when these are closed those renting should be notified. We also showed up and they were working on the beach to deal with erosion. Huge pipes and big machine equipment driving back and forth. Luckily it wasn't directly in front of the condo when we arrived. There is absolutely nothing the property owner can do about it and it's a necessity but a little heads up is always appreciated.

Not worth the money and hard to access

The property is in a great spot and that is the only perk. It is also on the 3rd floor of the complex so you have to climb 4 flights of stairs. Upon our arrival we did not know where the building was located or where to park as the owner did not put any of it on the site. We had 3 cats and only 2 parking passes which was also not mentioned. The complex is older and there were no lights on the stairwells, so getting up and down at night was challenging. The condo itself is dated. The mattresses are old and uncomfortable and the living room tv is only 32 inches so it is hard for everyone to see. The fans and filters are very dirty so we did not turn them on. The owner also charges an 85 dollar cleaning fee but requires you bring your own sheets and towels and take out the trash when you leave. If you are looking for a hassle free weekend do not stay here.

Sunrise to Moonrise

Easy rental and check in process, at a reasonable rate. The view was EXCELLENT! Day and Night! Nice, spacious condo, but it is in need of a few updates and upkeep. Easy fixes would be putting lights in the stairwell. The locks and light fixtures should be switched out for safety and aesthetics too. And, every one wished there were TVs in the bedrooms. The TV in the main living room could be bigger. It was hard to watch the basketball game. For bigger renovations, all the bathrooms should be updated. The sinks and toilets were tiny, and the shower door was dark and moldy. I would really stay here each visit to Carolina Beach once updates are done. Thanks for the accommodations in my last minute request.

Girls weekend!

Had a birthday celebration in Carolina Beach. The location was pretty good as we did not want to be in the main area and wanted a less crowded area. The condo itself was satisfactory for the cost. It is located on the third floor and there are no elevators so it could be hard for some to access. It is definitely older, and could be updated in terms of the bathrooms. That being said, the view is fantastic and we truly enjoyed eating out on the balcony. We had a great time.

We had fun at your condo.

The condo was nice. We enjoyed being ocean front. The condo was very cute. The deck was great. I just have a few suggestions. The kitchen drawer that had silverware needs repair. There were items from former vacationers under our dresser in the main bedroom downstairs. I would suggest a new coffee pot that is newer. We did not have a key to get through the gate to the beach. I think it had recently changed but that was frustrating. The windows that are not sealed and condensation need to be replaced as the view is so important in a beach house.

Great condo and location.

Great week at the beach! The condo was clean and had a good view of the beach! We had a little trouble with the keys to the beach access, but the owner responded quickly and provided a new key. I would recommend this condo to others!

Amazing beachfront family vacation

We loved working with Carol and her beachfront condo is the perfect place to stay. We had an amazing view from the top floor deck of the ocean and beach. Short walk to restaurants and the boardwalk. It was the perfect relaxing fun beach week. The space was perfect for my family with plenty of room and decor was so cute. We enjoyed every minute.

Amazing place, but work on cleaning.

We loved staying at this condo. The property was just as described. The views here can't be beat. The pools were nice and the beach was a step away. The steps can be a bit much if you are in and out like we are but was not a problem for my family. The only thing this place needs is a better cleaning service. While it looks good and mostly clean, you can tell things do not get moved and cleaned. We found toys left behind under the chair, hair balls near nightstand, and sadly, a used condom in the loft bed upstairs. I would still recommend this place to others but work on the deep cleaning.
