Nice place, just not great if bringing a boat. Clearance on the driveways had limbs hitting my t top on my center console. You can't stay hooked up to the boat due to room. The other boat had to unhook parallel to the driveway due to lack of room.

Perfect Door County cottage!

The photos do not do this lovely cottage justice - it is an absolute delight! The owners are wonderful and have obviously put a lot of time and care into the property. The landscaping is stunning, with flowers blending into the natural woods around. The new piers are well made and the perfect spot to watch a Door County sunset! And the location is so convenient - just up the road from Sister Bay. It was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway for me and my two children (and our dog!). Would definitely return!!

Debbie and Dave were gracious hosts.. The pier view was incredible and sunsets just beautiful. Property location is perfect. We staying in garden green house. It was extremely clean and quaint. Will visit again.

Fall/Birthday Getaway

Dave and Deb have created a perfect fall retreat. They were so welcoming and helpful upon our arrival and the property is beautiful. Enjoyed coffee on the pier in the morning and utilized the bikes to ride around town in the afternoon. If the wind died down we would have loved to sit by the fire as well! Our family really enjoyed the pie so much that they all requested the bakery information 😂. Would love to return in the future!

Family Reunion

We rented both Debbie and Dave's houses for a family reunion. We had a family dinner at the house on Saturday night. There are all the dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses we needed . The houses are comfortable and well appointed. We all enjoyed our time and would stay here again. Great location for nice walks. Convenient location for exploring the Sister Bay area.

Great host family and facilities

We were seeking a reasonably priced house close to the water in Door County, WI. This cabin fit the bill perfectly. The cabin was the prefect size and was well equipped. Loved the proximity to the lakes and enjoyed using the newly refurbished piers. It's location allowed us to take many day trips to explore the many beaches, parks, lighthouses, ice cream shops and restaurants of Door County. We had a great vacation!

Cozy Cabin

From the fireworks show at Freedom Fest to kick off our stay, the homemade cherry pie baked bay Dave himself (lol) to the amazing sunsets from the pier our trip was great! We had a great stay at Dave and Debbie’s property and appreciate them sharing a slice of their life for all to enjoy. Cabin has all you need and we enjoyed being able to take our Lab with us. We were very happy with our stay at the Garden Cottage at Sunset Shore. Dave and Debbie were ideal hosts and they couldn't have made us feel more welcomed. The cottage was kept in great condition and was very clean. Our time there was perfect.

Relaxing retreat in the woods

Very comfortable cabin in the woods with filtered lake views. Amazing ice cream shop only a short walk away. Bikes to loan. The hosts were very kind and accommodating.

Friends getaway

Renter was very responsive and nice, this location was perfect for a short weekend away, had plenty of beds. There was a beautiful view of the lake and sunset. Very clean cabin and easy to find.

Quaint Weekend Getaway

Minutes away from everything in Sister Bay you'll find this nice cottage with lake views! My husband, 7 month old dog, and myself spent my birthday weekend here and had a great time. Dave and Debbie were very responsive, gave us some great restaurant suggestions and even let us know the cherry blossoms were blooming at a nearby winery. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet getaway to Door County.

Door County Weekend

We had a great stay at Sunset Shore! The cottage was very cute and perfect for us with our dog. It was very well stocked with everything we needed for the stay and the grounds are beautiful. There are some walking trails across the street for walking our dog and the location was very convenient for anything in Door County. Debbie and Dave are great hosts and very easy to get in touch with.

Cozy and Convenient

We had a nice extended weekend stay at this cabin. It was just right for my daughter and me. Very convenient to everywhere in Door County. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Nice getaway for a small family.
