Este increíblemente tranquilo complejo familiar está perfectamente situado junto al campo de golf Makai. El complejo está a 10 minutos en coche de la mundialmente famosa bahía de Hanalei y el centro comercial Princeville está a sólo cinco minutos.

Nuestros condominios de un dormitorio dormir cuatro en una cama king en el maestro y un sofá cama queen en la sala de estar.

Great location! Perfect condo

We loved staying here! Really beautiful property and so conveniently located. We loved the showers and the comfortable beds. And with the A/C units we were very comfortable sleeping. Very nice to have the convenience of getting beach chairs, ice chest and umbrellas for days at the beach. And you could pick up ice daily. It was great to have use of a printer also which I needed to use for work. We will definitely stay here again.

Well-equipped and Helpful Staff

The apartment was exactly as portrayed in the information, and had everything necessary for our convenience, with plenty of "starter" supplies. It was very clean, very comfortable, and had a lovely view from the lanai of the mountains. We also liked that this is a relatively small "community" and easy to get to from the main road, unlike some of the northern communities that are packed with hundreds of condos. The staff was extremely helpful, taking our luggage to our apartment for us, as we would be arriving later after checking in. We even had a bottle of bubbly ready for us for our 50th anniversary! Every need was addressed immediately. The only downside was a $17 per day fee which was "hidden" in the information, and not on the financial summary page. I think the cost was already high enough that this was a bit much more to add. Also pool is quite small. There were also social events that we were not interested in, but I think some people might really enjoy. We would definitely stay here again.

Not here again.

Was not what I expected. Condo was musty smelling. This property is more of a managed bunch of condos that calls itself a resort. The resort fees are expensive and not worth the extra money. I prefer a more one on one communication when renting a property from a single owner. The kitchen was bare in terms of pantry supplies. There was a couple coffee packets, salt and pepper. That’s it.

Good home base

The condo was just what we needed for a few days on the north side of Kauai - clean, comfortable, equipped kitchen, and the club amenities like pool and bikes and events are a nice touch. Note the extra resort fee you have to pay upon arrival described in the posting. No complaints!

excellent place to stay on kauai! very clean and comfortable condo. the AC is a life saver. super friendly and accommodating staff. also brief walking distance to the makai golf club for a relaxing lunch and drink.

It’s a toss up

We stayed there for the end of our three week stay for four nights. It was not as pictured it was older and dated , but still comfortable.very very clean and organized,the bed was mostly comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. However the air-conditioner made so much noise you had to turn it off to sleep. The property manager was great. I would stay there next time if it wasn’t full rate, with parking it was close to $200 a night . Also I do understand that air conditioning is expensive over there but for what we got it was a little high priced.There was construction on the property directly behind our unit that was supposed to start at 8 AM Monday through Friday but it started earlier, fortunately we checked in on Saturday and left on a Tuesday morning. We did see another unit that wasn’t as nice as ours which was not as nice as the picture you are seeing. Also both units we looked at the air-conditioner was very loud A loud whining sound. Which was in the living room and the bedroom ...

Pictures shown were not pictures of unit we stayed in. But still nice. Although I think resort fees should be more clearly disclosed prior to booking. I think not mentioning additional resort fee is not fair to others on VRBO who include all fees in quote. Still liked the accommodation and would recommend.

Fabulous place to stay on Kauai!

We had a wonderful time on Kauai. The Condo was perfect for us. Very well equipped for our every need. Will recommend to friends on their future trips. The helicopter taken from Princeville was the highlight of our visit. It is a must for all visitors to experience the wonders of Kauai.

Pleasant, beautiful, well-equipped, helpful staff!

I'm hesitant to leave this review because I don't want everyone to know how AWESOME this resort was, but...my fiance and I just enjoyed a week at the Makai Club Condos and had an amazing time! The complex feels secluded and the views out the back are breathtaking. The unit itself was full of the essentials we needed for our stay and we were able to prepare beautiful meals using local ingredients from the nearby farmers markets with ease. Most notable, however, was the amazing staff! Everyone, including the concierge but also reception, grounds staff-everyone-was happy to give us great recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and things to do, as there is so much that it can feel overwhelming. We even won a buy-one-get-one luau at the concierge's Saturday welcome event! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to stay on the North Shore of Kauai.

Great spot

The apartment had everything we needed and was exactly as expected. The description is accurate. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the unit we stayed in was in the back of the complex and generally quiet, with the exception of when the upstairs neighbors were stomping around. The AC was great and it was really nice to have a washer and dryer at our finger tips. Great location for all of our adventures.

Lovely place, very convenient and private

Larger space than I expected at a great price. Lovely staff and perfect central location for my family in Kilauea and friends in Hanalei. I was expecting a kitchenette but was so pleased to see a full kitchen. I would definitely recommend. Makai club staff is the best!
