Encantadora casa de campo de Winemaker del siglo XVII en el río Loire Valley. ¡NUEVO PARA MAYO 2019 SERÁ UNA PISCINA DE AGUA SALADA!Ubicación central perfecta para unas vacaciones en la región en la ciudad de Amboise con fantásticas vistas y privacidad. Ubicado a poca distancia de Amboise, a la salida de la ruta ciclista a orillas del valle del Loira, la casa es perfecta para unas pequeñas vacaciones familiares o una escapada en pareja.
La cocina es tradicional pero cuenta con excelentes electrodomésticos modernos: lavaplatos, cocina de inducción, microondas, horno, tostadora, cafetera Nespresso.
Hay una bonita sala de desayunos junto a la cocina con TV de pantalla plana con Internet y aire acondicionado central. El baño de abajo está fuera de la sala de desayunos, tiene un baño completo con ducha y un calentador de toallas.
Hay un dormitorio tipo loft con cama de matrimonio sobre la cocina con su propia escalera. Esta habitación tiene bonitas vistas y ventanas cerradas, así como su propia unidad de aire acondicionado / calefacción. Hay un nuevo colchón tempurpedic y almohadas, sábanas y edredones de alta calidad.
El salón es impresionante con puertas que dan al patio y al jardín delantero. Tiene una chimenea con una estufa de leña y muy viejo techo de vigas de roble. Esto está amueblado con muchas antigüedades locales y hallazgos interesantes. Esta habitación también tiene su propia calefacción / aire acondicionado por separado.
Sobre la sala de estar se encuentra el dormitorio principal, con hermosas vistas del río y el campo. También tiene puertas francesas y un pequeño balcón. Hay un baño principal en suite con baño completo con ducha. La cama es una reina con cabecero de lino y colchón y sábanas de alta calidad. Esta habitación también tiene su propia calefacción y aire acondicionado separados.
Una pequeña y estrecha escalera sube a la sala de la torre. Cuenta con una cama individual con una cama nido y un baño con ducha cerrada. Esta habitación también tiene unas vistas increíbles. También tiene su propia calefacción separada y aire acondicionado.
Hay un bonito jardín con terrazas y un precioso patio para entretener.
También hay un gran lago frente a la casa que ahora es una reserva natural donde es muy agradable salir a caminar o trotar por la mañana. A veces también vuelan los globos turísticos desde aquí, por lo que es un placer especial para ver.
Hemos establecido la casa de campo como la casa de nuestros sueños, no solo como un alquiler para que se sienta muy bienvenido y feliz aquí. es muy privado y no hay nada mejor que tomar una copa de vino por la noche mirando al campo o simplemente charlando con amigos planeando sus próximos días de aventura en esta increíble zona. Nuestros anfitriones locales hablan inglés y francés y no dude en contactarnos si tiene alguna pregunta sobre su viaje, ya que conocemos muy bien el área.

This is a lovely property and we had a wonderful time. My husband and I rented for three weeks, one week during which our adult children and partners joined. Our hosts, Paul and Irena were exceptionally helpful. They provided whatever information/help we needed. They have done a fantastic job landscaping the property, and the interior is very comfortable. We rented bikes, took long walks from the house (fields and forests), grilled meals every night and of course since it is Chateaux country, there is much to see and do. If there is any drawback it would be the bit of traffic noise heard, but only in the pool area. We are city people, New Yorkers, and so are probably unreasonably looking for absolute silence. We would highly recommend this house! Thank you Paul and Irena!

Lovely Cottage

We just returned from a week long stay at Paul and Irina’s lovely cottage in Amboise. We were hoping for a quiet place to relax after a busy week in Paris and it was perfect in every way. While the weather wasn’t quite what we were hoping for (no relaxing by the pool or on the patio) we did really enjoy sitting by the fire with a glass of wine looking out on the lovely vista. Paul is an amazing host and kept in touch regularly before our arrival. The cottage itself is so charming and comfortable, just right for me, my husband and sister with the bedrooms being on separate sides of the house. The beds are very comfortable as previously stated by other guests. We took advantage of the concierrge Paul suggested, Summer Janeaud, and she really made the trip special. It was wonderful having her make all the arrangements for us for both castles and restaurants and she had delicious food and wine waiting for us when we arrived. I highly recommend using her services. We will have lovely memories or our time in Amboise and hope to be back someday. Thank you Paul and Irina for your kind hospitality!

Waanzinnige locatie met zwembad

Echt een prachtige plek met grote tuin en eigen zwembad. Je zit helemaal privé en vlak aan de Loire. Je fietst zo in 10 min over een natuurpad langs de Loire naar het centrum van Amboise. Het huis is heel karakteristiek maar ook oud. De binnenkant is ouderwets ingericht. Hier moet je van houden. De slaapkamers met heerlijke bedden waren ruim en wat moderner. En het uitzicht vanuit de slaapkamers is adembenemend mooi. Het servies en keukengerei is oud, maar alles (en meer) is aanwezig. Het enige minpunt was dat er niet goed schoongemaakt was in hoekjes en onder stoelen en kasten en in de keukenlades/kastjes. Het huis heeft veel assecoires en overal zat stof op. De schoonmaakster is extra geweest, maar het huis heeft echt een grondige schoonmaakbeurt nodig. Contact met de eigenaar was heel secuur en je kan voor 150,- gebruik maken van Summer, die allerlei uitjes en de beste restaurants voor je boekt. Hierdoor kwamen we op bijzondere plekjes die je anders niet vindt. Dit was echt een enorme meerwaarde van onze vakantie. Wat een fantastische vrouw! Ook was het zwembad ineens groen door algen. De eigenaar en Summer hebben dezelfde dag nog mensen geregeld die kwamen om het te filteren. Echt top geregeld!

The cottage was lovely with an amazing pool and gardens , very relaxing and close to the local town filled with bars and restaurants , one of the most relaxing weeks away we’ve had , highly recommend the cottage, Paul the owner was very helpful and really made us feel at home.

Perfect cottage

Love the home, the collection of racing books. The new pool is a winner and having dinner outside surrounded by vines is perfection. Excellent air conditioning. Paul the owner is engaging, helpful and passionate that you enjoy your time in his home. We had many memorable meals from his recommendations. The only thing I wish would be to have stayed longer.

Beautiful and Perfect!

If you want to experience what the French call “le joie de vivre”, this is the perfect home for you. Excellent location. Immaculately clean. Air conditioned. Beautiful swimming pool. Everything is perfect. You feel like you’re in your own little paradise. The pool faces the sunset. The parking is great. The beds are comfortable. It was truly one of the best stays we have ever had. A touch of the old France with the new comforts of living. Paul was wonderful to work with and gave us suggestions of which places to visit. He was responsive and very kind. Thank you Paul.

Winemakers cottage

17th century winemaker cottage tucked away on a quiet and private hillside. Pool and a/c made the hottest week in recent years very manageable. Convenient base for amboise and neighboring chateau. We like lunch out while touring and market purchasesd dinners at home in the evenings. Owner, Paul, is great to work with. We also used the recommended concierge, named Summer, for services like tickets and chateau reservations. She is fantastic.

Wonderful comfortable and quiet stay!

This home is everything that we hoped it would be and more. First of all, they are the most comfortable beds any of us had slept in. Working with Paul, the owner, made this a great experience. He even called me at home prior to our departure to make sure that we had all the information we needed about the surrounding area and to fill us in on any questions we had concerning the rental. This is the dream home of the owners and they live here part of the time. We felt as if we were stepping into an established house fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The owners are even in the process of putting in a swimming pool. There is a heat pump which means air conditioning as well as heat. It was very quiet and the views would make you think you were in the French countryside. The only complaint we had is that we did not stay long enough. If we plan another trip to this area, we will definitely stay in Paul’s home.

Beautiful cottage in Amboise

We had a 3 day stay in this special property. The cottage is decorated beautifully in true French country style. Master bedroom is perfect with a lovely ensuite. The third bedroom is up a steep stairway but has it's own bathroom that is located behind a eave. We did not use that bedroom, which has two full beds. The second upstairs bedroom is somewhat open to downstairs and does not have it's own bathroom and shares the downstairs bathroom. The property setting is lovely although not in a rural area. We enjoyed the view although there was some traffic noise in the morning. The kitchen has all amenities needed to make dinners at home. The town is enchanting with two lovely chateaus to visit. Would love to make a return visit. Thank you, Paul, for being so helpful before and during our stay!

Everything You Could Hope For!

The Winemakers Cottage was the epitome of everything you every could imagine a cottage in the Loire Valley being. We were lucky enough to be there in mid April, when the lilacs and wisteria were all in full bloom, so every breeze was fragranced with sweetness. The location is perfect for visiting the incredible chateaux spread along the Loire, and the people of Amboise couldn't have been more welcoming. Hallmark would be hard pressed to outdo the charm Paul and his wife have created here. Though parking a larger SUV was a little challenging, it was well worth it! We will cherish the week we spent in the Winemakers Cottage for the rest of our lives.

A lovely cottage from which to explore the Loire Valley.

This cottage has lovely views and all the amenities that one could want. The town of Amboise is quaint with great shops and wonderful restaurants. We especially enjoyed the balloon ride from the Ile d'Or. Just a fabulous experience.

Lovely French Cottage in a Nice Location

A really beautiful cottage w a lovely garden, nice kitchen for cooking, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The driveway was a bit of a challenge, but well worth it!

The Best Cottage to enjoy the Loire area!

Not only is the cottage charming inside and out, it is also in the perfect location from which to explore Amboise, Chinon and the Loire. Surrounded by lovely landscaping, we enjoyed the outer courtyard and gazebo several times for wine and dinner after a day of touring. The cottage provided comfort and serenity in all rooms. The beds and linens gave us good rest for the next busy day. The shower was so welcomed after a week of just tubs elsewhere! Owner Paul was in touch early on, providing us with a list of activities and restaurants which we utilized many times. A map of hiking trails from the cottage was also provided for us. We have remarked since, that all recommended restaurants we visited in Amboise were wonderful! We were close enough to the hot-air balloon company to be on time for an early 6 a.m. take off... Not to be missed in the Loire. The owners' personal touches were much appreciated and quite evident everywhere! This isn't just a rental, but serves as their home when they quite often visit from the states. Thus comfort abounds! Each of the 5 of us wished we could stay longer than the 5 days we booked, but reality called us....we certainly were not ready to leave for home! We would love to enjoy the cottage again on our next visit to the Loire~ Thank you Paul and Irina for ensuring an incredible experience, and allowing us to enjoy your little piece of paradise for just a bit while in France!

A pure delight.

Tricky to find, it overlooks the Loire basin. Completely updated, but the touch and feel of a moment in time. Perfectly located for the chateaux visits. Both inside with finishing and furnishings, and outside with an explosion of blooms and smells felt like we were in a fairy tale. Secluded outdoor breakfasts and dinners perfect. We need to stay again. Soon.

Lovely characterful cottage

This is a nicely equipped cottage situated about 3km outside Amboise. Having three floors and situated down steps from a high level car park this is a challenging property for elderly/infirm people. But, the cottage is in a lovely location, set in mature gardens and has pleasant views over the countryside. The owner of the property was tremendously helpful despite being located several thousand miles from us. All cleaning materials were provided and lots of spices, teas etc. The bottle of wine and jar of fois gras were a nice touch.

We live in California , both working in the film industry. Paul is originally from Norwich in Britain and Irina from Moscow, Russia. We have lived in Los Angeles for 25 years. Paul is a production designer and Irina a set decorator .The cottage is our escape plan from the hectic life in the city!

We have travelled to the Loire region several times from California and really fell in love with the area. We really stumbled upon the house and managed to buy it last year. We have made the house very comfortable and yet kept its traditional charm We hope you like it as much as we do.!

The cottage is very magical , it' s traditional but very comfy. Its views are incredible and we immediately felt at home here.
Waking up to the songbirds or having a glass of wine at sunset is magical. Its also very private and peaceful.
