Blues Cottage - Lakefront Cottages en Semi-lago privado, playa, barcos, diversión!

Siete cabañas de temática musical, todas con al menos dos habitaciones, un entorno de colinas y un riachuelo, en un lago semiprivado para nadar, practicar piragüismo, kayak y pesca. Disfrutar del aire libre en cabañas durante todo el año con mucha vida silvestre pero cerca de muchas atracciones locales.

Nuestra casa de campo Blues se encuentra en una pequeña colina desde el lago bajo unos grandes árboles de sombra. Tiene una cama doble en la planta baja con cuatro camas individuales en la planta superior y también tiene una red de Dish para el televisor.

Un montón de deportes acuáticos - Pesca, piragüismo, kayak, natación. La zona tiene muchos lagos y ríos para descubrir. No hay un momento de aburrimiento en Lakeside Melodies.

Disfruta de la música popular: Bill y sus amigos a menudo se reúnen en el verano para compartir música junto al fuego de la noche.

¡Los niños tienen una explosión! - Pueden jugar en el agua, en nuestra playa de arena, correr por nuestros amplios campos de hierba y divertirse en el patio de recreo.

¿Un amante de la naturaleza? - Entonces te gustará el lago Little Pleasant y todos los lagos que nos rodean. La zona es ideal para el ciclismo y el senderismo.

The place was very unkept their was cobwebs all over the doors the beds spread did not look very clean we had to go buy bed sheets the dishes in the kitchen were old and chipped they had a dirty old seat in the living area the walls in the dinning room were all dirty and we came home with a lot of little bite marks we believe their was bed bugs

Loved the space. The lake was spectacular! The space was sweet! Cons- host only responded when I went through vrbo virtual agent. Evening Quiet time was NOT respected by neighbors the entire stay. Host did nothing about it when it was addressed.One roll of toilet paper, 1 garbage bag for 7 guests on hot days for 3* days- host never brought more even though they said they would.Inadequate kitchen supplies

Cabin was perfect, lake was beautiful....we found a boat rental 11 mins away at Corey lake. It was all the peaceful weekend trip we was looking for!!

I’m sure it would have been great for some families but the ceilings are short so if you’re over 6ft it’s not ideal. There were a few things that I would have preferred, like the mattress not to be covered in stains when I pulled off the sheets off and sheer curtains in the bathroom. Overall for the price point it wasn’t bad, like I said I’m sure it would be perfect for some with a few minor changes it would have been great for us. It’s around a lake so I expect spiders and some other little bugs. Now time for the positives! The fishing was excellent, the kids really enjoyed that and playing horseshoes. There was plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family to enjoy. The little fire pit came in handy for s’mores! Water access was perfect and the scenery was gorgeous! I would definitely go back but probably try a different cabin.

Beautiful location

This property is so beautiful. These cabins have sole access to this small lake great for kayaking, canoeing and fishing! The cabin was definitely a cabin with basic amenities, but was great for our family. There were funny things like one of the door knobs that kept falling off and the bedroom that didn't have a door at all. My only recommendation would be a deep clean. It was surface clean, but bugs and webs all over. But, really had a great time!

Cute Cottage!

I stayed at Tacklebox with four friends. It was charming! Very clean. The weather wasn't the greatest, but we enjoyed watching the lake while the snow fell. If you are tall, this probably isn't the place for you. I'm 5'2" and I could touch the ceiling. But we absolutely loved our time there. We hope to return next year!

Quick 2 day getaway

Pros: The place is situated on a nice small lake and has a great outdoor setting with fire pit. Cons: There we’re just soo many smaller things wrong that just comes from neglect or failure to care. 1. No grill utensils( the grate was falling apart and nothing there to clean or use to when grilling) 2. The door knob fell off right as we got there to the side door. It got very annoying that we didn’t even use the door and walked around to the front door. 3. There were no trash bags for the garbage. I ran out after day 1 and we had to use small grocery bags. 4. The left side of the stove did not work at all which only left us with one large burner and a small burner. 5. Didn’t affect my group too much but this place is not for anyone 5ft 10 or above, you will hit your head on everything inside. Ceilings are very short. Overall I’m still rating it at 3 because of the outside and peaceful ambience around the cabin. If they didn’t charge as much money per night I might have rated it higher, but way too much money for this cabin that needs some attention.

Nice property, simple and cute. Morning coffee looking at the lake and seeing the sunrise was awesome grilling on the afternoon and starring at campfire while your kids do marshmallows was an experience we will never forget. Beautiful property with lots of potential. I would like if they put stronger locks and metal doors to sleep with a peace of mind. It gets very dark at night there. Better beds would be nice, didn't felt rested in the morning. Specially with lots of mosquitoes, so bring bugs spray and a comforter to put on top of bed to sleep better. So, there is room for improvement, but like any other business it takes time and money to get it to the desired standard, I know it will. I'll consider renting again as more improvements are meet. I give 3 out of 5.

Family getaway

The property is cute, there’s plenty to do on the grounds but some of the neighbors may be close. The upstairs room is large enough for at least 4 people. The place was cool and comfortable. The scenery is beautiful. Cons: The kitchen is very basic with a not working coffee maker and a couple frying pans and one very small pot. Bring an extra if you plan to do more than boil 4 eggs. The shower is super small so if you are above average size it will be a tight squeeze. Bedroom on the main floor has no door (but has a door in the room just leaning up against a wall!) and the mattress in that room needs to be replaced. It’s extra springy and uncomfortable. Pros: everything else was just fine. The access to the water and small water crafts is great. There is a park, basketball court and plenty of room to walk. The place is cozy, total lake life vibes with a perfect view. Bring bug spray and extra firewood. There are plenty of houses selling firewood on the way in. Overall I would recommend this place, it’s just a little rough, like a few steps up from camping. A couple minor fixes and this place would be perfect.

Birthday party

It was tough trying to decide on how to celebrate my kid's birthdays this year(they turned 11 and 16 on August 18th), since everything is still closed mostly. This was perfect. The kids had their cousins come out and spent the 2 days kayaking, swimming and canoeing. No masks required ☺️

Relaxing, Quiet and Peaceful

My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary at Lakeside Melodies and loved it! The cabin was convenient, quaint, clean and had everything that we needed. The grounds were beautiful; albeit a few unclaimed poops from the other guest's unleashed dogs. Nonetheless, our trip was very nice. I highly encourage renting the boats and going onto the lake - it was soooo quiet and peaceful! The only downside to our three day stay was that we felt rushed out of our cabin at departure. While we knew that checkout was at 10 a.m., we watched guests move in and out of their cabins until roughly noon the day before. I completely get that turnaround demands change from day to day. We understood when our request for a late checkout was denied but we were annoyed when someone came to our door at 9:55 a.m. to remind of us checkout. I talked to the manager 30 minutes before and all parties involved knew that we were cleaning up. I honestly expected them to be a bit more accommodating, but it is what it is. Overall, we had a blast. We definitely plan on returning with our children.

The kids begged to come back.

We had a great time. The cottage was clean upon arrival, the owners were easy to work with, the outdoors were amazing. We have a family with a wide age range and there was something for everyone. The cottage is pretty basic, so it's not some place you'd want to spend a lot a time indoors. But there was plenty to do outdoors.

Exactly as listed!

Was initially looking to go camping and found this spot. It was an easy drive & close enough for store runs. Owner was very nice and helpful. Use of the lake and boats was nice & relaxing!

Relaxing getaway!

My husband and I brought our cats here for a long weekend to get away with some tranquility. It was just what we needed in the times of Covid. The blues cottage has a fantastic view of the water and we were lucky enough to see the swan family many times through our stay. Accommodations were great to unplug and relax!

Peaceful Getaway

If you're looking for a relaxing & peaceful location this is the place! It's not crowded, the cabins are clean and the owners are the friendliest people. I hope to return one day soon. We had a great time relaxing on the water.

Most peaceful Place

My family and I had a great relaxing time away at this property. My kids range from 2-18 they all had a blast. It was so clean. The owner was super friendly and ready to help with any questions we had. So full of wildlife. We had a great time swimming, kayaking, fishing, and just relaxing. I highly recommend this place.

WMU Homecoming Weekend

Very Clean Cottage with a beautiful view (wish it wasn't so cold out). Easy and quick communication with the owners. If you are looking for a group of people to come out, Lakeside Melodies has plenty more rentals on the property.

Welcome to Camp Blue Canoe and thank you for checking us out. We are the family behind this beautiful, nature filled getaway we call paradise! Our tribe, the LaGiglias and the Regans, is all in the family. Bustling with 4 adults and 7 kids between our two households, we understand the daily grind, the everyday challenges, and frankly... the need to sometimes just got out of Dodge. The first time we walked this amazing 13 acres of Pure Michigan, we were completely sold. The rolling green hills, the waving forest trees, and the majestic Little Pleasant Lake instantly captured our family's hearts.

Our goal is to create that home away from home for families just like ours. We hope everyone staying at Camp Blue Canoe can wind down, take in the fresh air, and forget life for awhile. We are committed to making your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible and creating a relaxing environment. Escape to nature! With only one other house on the lake and no motor boats buzzing around, you are really out in nature with all the comforts of a cottage. We are also only 3 miles from Three Rivers where you can find lots to see, do, or buy supplies.
