Très bien situé

Cefalu et Palerme valent le détour. Difficile de se garer à Palerme,le centre ville est interdit aux véhicules.

Comfortable Beach Getaway

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Mare Nostrum. While the surrounding neighborhood was not the cleanest, we could see the pride Claudio and his father, Carmelo take in keeping their property tidy and inviting. It definitely gives the feeling of being in your own private villa, though it has multiple buildings that are rented as B&B. The easy walk to the beach, the choice of using the pool, and even the convenience of catching the train in either direction of Palermo or Messina makes this a perfect spot to just relax! Claudio was always available by phone to answer the simplest of questions. And Carmelo was such a gentlemen and took time to chat about the surrounding area. One note to consider- if you like to cook a bit, you should pick up basic supplies (seasoning, oil, etc) as none were provided. However, there were plenty of dishes and cookware. Oh, and the washing machine work very well! We certainly recommend this B&B for its value, it’s comfort, and its respectful hosts!

Calm and clean place not far from Cefalu

Hosts are welcoming. The residence and the appartment were clean and functional. Immediate access to an almost desert sandy beach was appreciable at this period of the year

Sehr gepflegte kleine Anlage

Nette, kleine sehr saubere Wohnung. Etwas kleiner als erwartet, da die Terrasse wohl zu den 80qm hinzugerechnet wurde. Aber bei dem schönen Wetter auch in Ordnung. Der Pool war schön, aber wir haben den wundervollen, sehr wenig besuchten Strand vorgezogen. Ein Auto ist, u.E. dringend notwendig. Die nächsten Supermärkte, Bars, Restaurants sind zu weit entfernt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben alle "Problemchen" und Fragen sofort gelöst. Waren auch immer vor Ort und ansprechbar. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen sind ihre drei Hunde. Wir hatten das Appartement direkt neben ihnen und an unsere Terrasse grenzte der abgegrenzte Hundebereich. Diese bellten den ganzen Tag. Auch der Kot lag dort und wir vermuten, dass die vielen Fliegen darauf zurückzuführen sind. Das war sehr störend. Allerdings hatten wir keine Insekten in der Wohnung, da alle Fenster top mit Fliegengittern ausgestattet waren. Auch Nachts war es ruhig. Da waren die Vierbeiner wohl im Haus. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt mit einer kleinen Einschränkung

Sicilian paradise!!!

This was the best place we've stayed in Sicily. Everything about it was just perfect for our family. We had a very relaxing time around the pool, going for walks at the beach early morning and contemplating the beautiful sunset at the beach. Mare Nostrum is the perfect place to find inner balance and new beginnings. Claudio speaks perfect english and his father Carmelo is very friendly and welcoming. Its a very peaceful place, organized, clean and comfortable in every way. We hope to go back soon. Book today and enjoy the Mare Nostrum paradise !!!

Beautiful location, Beautiful House

One of the best vacations I've been on! The property is located just feet from the most beautiful beach. The house was amazing. The family who owns the property took great care of us and made sure we felt right at home! We spent our days grilling on the BBQ and laying on the beach. We felt so lucky to have chosen this place. Definitely recommended!!!

Unvergesslicher Urlaub

Unser erster Sizilien Urlaub im Oktober 2016 wird in sehr positiver Erinnerung bleiben. Die Anlage Mare Nostrum ist sehr empfehlenswert. Eine gepflegte, saubere Anlage mit Swimmingpool, der auch im Oktober noch geöffnet ist, sehr nette,freundliche Besitzer, die immer ansprechbar waren, haben einen sehr guten Gesamteindruck hinterlassen. Weiter so Claudio und Familie.

Very nice place to spend your holiday......

We were coming to Campofelice di Roccella in April/May where we met a very welcoming owner of Casa Vacanze Mare Nostrum. The apartment met our expectations and has a well equipped kitchen. Also the laundry machine was nice (comes in favor, so you don’t have to bring much clothing in your luggage) , the bedrooms were big and the bathroom was very good. But especially everything was very CLEAN. The porch was very nice to sit at and it had comfortable chairs. We putted the barbecue on and it roasted good meat which came from a supermarket nearby was a 10 minute drive from there. In the back yard was a nice big swimming pool were you could sunbath if you wanted and just a little further away was the beach which was very nice. On a 20 minute drive was a city called Cefalu. It had beautiful small streets and there was a very beautiful cathedral. Nearby were good restaurants. The hospitality of the owner and his family, the friendly people of Sicily were great and we are certainly coming back in the future.

VERY NICE PLACE

The villa was very large and spacious. All in a nice safe and peaceful. The owner is very kind and always available to meet any need. We found a warm welcome, as our house. Excellent restaurant recommended.

Favoloso soggiorno trascorso al Case Vacanze Mare Nostrum. La villa era molto pulita. Lo stato è davvero eccellente. Il servizio offerto dal proprietario è stato impeccabile e la qualità era eccellente. Consiglio questo immobile a coloro che vogliono trascorrere un soggiorno in armonia e relax. Amazing

Dream villas. It is wonderful to go to see the sunset. From the villa you can see the sea. With direct access to I was on the beach. I write poems. This stay was an inspiration.

Nice apartment

Very nice and clean apartment. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very nice beach; unfortunately with rocks. Just walk 200 meters eastwards and you will find a sandy beach! Very quiet and relaxed!

Fantastic family holiday

Super clean nice and ractical appartments. Only 100 meters from the beautiful beach with lots of space. Nice pool for chilling on the way back from the beach. Perfect homebase for visiting Palermo by train, Cefalu and the fantastic beach in Cefalu. Spermarkets with full range of fish, homegrown vegtables and other sicilian specialities close by car. Super restaurants along the area. WE LOVED IT!

Fantastic holiday villa in beautiful location

An wonderfully unforgettable holiday . The owners were very helpful caring and friendly. The villa is well equipped and clean with an extra outside shower.There is wifi internet connection. Lovely terrace, garden and barbeque. The swimming pool was especilly enjoyed by my grandchildren we swam every day. Lovely beach so close. We will definately recommend Mare Nostrum to our family and friends. Thank you for lovely memories

Merveilleuse!

Nous étions dans ce magnifique hôtel avec des amis. Ce qui nous a le plus frappé était la propreté de la propriété , nettoyage de la piscine . Pour la première fois nous avions une salle de bain sans se brûler les yeux . Les propriétaires nous ont dit que d'utiliser les meilleurs produits et très peu de chlore . Ceci est d'assurer la santé des clients . Ils sont très préoccupés par la santé des clients , la propreté, l'ordre . Tous si aimante . Ma villa était plus beau dans ma maison .

I LOVE MARE NOSTRUM

An unforgettable holiday . This is a tourist facility . The owners are very professional , helpful and polite. I love because the properties are clean . there is also a wifi internet connection . We were in Cefalu, but this facility is beautiful . In Cefalu we found only old apartments with antique furniture . Al Mare Nostrum that does not happen . All very elegant, beautiful and super comfortable .
