August 2024 TRIP

The Grand Panama has always been a nicely kept resort, this was my 5th time staying at this resort. We had a hiccup with our access code but it was fixed immediately right over the phone. Can't wait till next year!!

Bad management / Dirty

Everything kept getting worse and worse. Arrived to property and requested early check-in in order to decorate for bachelorette party. Didn’t get early check-in which was fine!! No problem! Around 4 which was check in time, went to room and they stated they were replacing floors and room would not be ready until 6pm! We then requested late check out for our stay because they robbed us of two hours! Was told we weren’t allowed a late check-out due to housekeeping needing to start. But maintenance can start replacing the floors of the booked condo at 3pm when there is a check-in at 4???? We then went to management to see if there was anything that could be done. They were able to get us into room around 5pm after they were very rude and condescending about “peak” time at the beach and that’s why they sometimes can move check in until 6pm. After the man in the office was very rude, another lady stepped in and offered a bottle of wine to “help” the rudeness received from other staff. Once we checked in, there was mold on the ceilings of the master bathroom, sand still all on the floor, and a smelly living space. Parking is also additional. We came with two cars and paid $80. Overall, the location was good and the pool was nice. But the staff, check-in process, and cleanliness of the listing is enough to make me not return to this condominiums.

Great weekend with friends.

We enjoyed our stay! We initially had a problem with our check in code but called and someone was able to help us immediately with a new code to get in. We did request linen change due to small issue and texted the host and they had someone there within the hour to change the sheets. Communication with the host was prompt and very convenient. The only issue or complaint was the parking situation. Barely anywhere to park on holiday weekend despite paying the expensive fees.. Easy and quick access to the beach!! Overall a great stay !

It was small, but good.

We had 4 adults and 4 kids and it was a little cramped for all of us. The bunk beds for the kids are great, but being in the hallway, there’s no privacy. It would have been more comfortable with 4-6 people. Everything else was great. Patio was nice and big, but a little crowded with furniture.

perfect beach location

We could get the TV's to work properly. Called maintenance, They came a full day later. Got one of them working for us. He was a really nice guy. It would be helpful to know who to call when something does not work.

Very nice property!

Unit was very clean and location was good. Property had a great pool area and beach access was close and nice. Owners were great to communicate with and very responsive. The unit fit 10 people but with a pullout couch suitable for kids. The beds were great sizes with king and queen beds. The pullout couch, rug & shower curtain could be updated due to staining and dirtiness. I wished the hotel had locking entry doors to limit anyone off the street from entering. The surrounding area was ok, had an “old Florida” feel with some older businesses/hotels. The Pier Park and eastern areas had some nice parts to shop and play golf. We would definitely stay here again.

There were 10 of us. We had a [problem with pull out bed but it was fixed immediately. It does need a new mattress more comfortable for those sleeping on pull out bed. Furniture needs to be cleaned but the Condo is beautiful and the deck is wonderful. we would stay again.

Perfect

The condo looks just like the pictures. Super clean, well equipped. Location is great, elevators were great. Ease of checking in and out was perfect! The view was perfect! I have zero complaints and we will definitely stay at the Grand Panama again!

Nice place but not very clean

Poor management when it comes to checking in. Room had hair in shower and toilets. Beds had sand and hair from previous tenant. Parking is horrible. Nice location and pretty view.

Great stay in early May 2021

This unit is in a great location with a perfect view off the 10th floor. Short walk to the beach from the unit. The balcony is one of the best ever, large with excellent comfortable furniture and privacy. We ate meals at the table every day. Large king size bed in the master with it's own balcony access, bunk beds in the middle are full size top and bottom for extra sleeping and the back room has a queen bed with it's own bathroom.. The living room sliding door won't lock and the property maintenance never came even after we called twice. Great location for food, fun and the beach. Already planning a return visit

Our rental was AWESOME. It was nicely decorated and in a Great location.

Although, the maintenance department was horrible!!! We had toilet trouble with it not flushing for 3 days. They came out 1 day and said they fixed it and it flushed but it did not I’m sure the owners will be quite disappointed y this because the re tal was greatly keep.

Great location; great views

The condo was exactly as we expected. The resort has 2 buildings, this unit being in the building right on the beach, with a ground level pool/hot tub/small kiddie pool, and the other building has a sky bridge to get to the parking garage, an outdoor heated pool/hot tub, and fitness center. We had 3 small children so we didn't go out on the balcony too much (this unit is on the 10th floor!), but we did still go out a few times to enjoy the great views. The kitchen is pretty well equipped for cooking when it comes to pots/pans/utensils, but be sure to bring your own salt/pepper/cooking oils, etc. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the bedding was all very clean. The couch was somewhat uncomfortable if you didn't have a pillow behind your back, but the accent chair was great. Overall it was a cozy place! We will definitely look at staying here if we come back to Panama City Beach!
