Este alquiler de condominio frente a la playa se encuentra en Destin Florida a lo largo de la Costa Esmeralda. El alquiler de condominios # 415 está ubicado en el cuarto piso y tiene capacidad para hasta 6 personas con un juego de cama de madera en el dormitorio principal de 32 'TV, 2 camas gemelas blancas costeras en el dormitorio de invitados de 18' TV y un sofá cama Queen en el Sala de estar 52 'TV. Esta unidad fue completamente remodelada en enero de 2018 para incluir una lavadora / secadora en la unidad. La playa de Destin está a pocos pasos. Unidad tiene una vista impresionante de agua y puesta de sol.

This unit is fantastic!

The unit is updated and well-appointed. It had everything we needed and boasts a great view of the sunset and harbor entrance. The walk to the beach is really short and easy. Alan the beach attendant is very friendly and helpful. Can't say anything bad about the unit, it is great. If you are reading reviews and hesitate because of posts related to dryer not working. It has been replaced and works very well.

Amazing Property!

Our stay was amazing and the property was perfect from the pool, the view and easy access to the beach. We stayed on the 4th floor and had an excellent view of the fireworks at night! We will be back for our next Destin trip. Loved it!

One thing I would suggest when the office people set a date for reserving your condo...they make sure all are aware of date just not the ones at a meeting. I feel also we had a lot of problems with the washers not working. Okay...our condo 415...is not a luxury platinum...washer, dryer do not work. Some of the furniture, mattresses should be replaced. Love the walk in shower and decor colors.

It's okay at best.

Reviewer Comments: This was the second vacation our family spent at this property and with rental rates going up as much as 15% you would think that they would keep up with the quality, but you would be wrong. Apartment was filthy with litter under beds and empty soda cans behind plant pots. All closet doors were broken and so was the dryer for which I got a small refund. Cockroaches in the bathroom at night. Swimming pool under water lights did not work for the whole stay. Compering with the properties around it is still a good deal, but with prices going up and quality down I will be looking for something else next time.

Reviewer Comments: My husband and I have been coming to Destin and staying at the Islander for the past 5 years, as well as my sister in law and her family. I've even recommended this place to many friends and family members. I've been nothing but pleased, until now. When I'm looking for a condo rental , I'm looking for specific things to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. For instance, like a washer & dryer. So when I check into my condo I expect to get everything that the condo has promised. I understand things break, but it's a bit disappointing when you check in and your informed that the dryer just broke and they are very sorry for the inconvenience. I would've been completely understanding but when I go back and read reviews and find out this unit has had a broken dryer for quite some time now and they had plenty of time to inform me on this before my arrival, I would say that would leave a bad taste in anyone's mouth. I was told they could ONLY give me 10% off and if I want I can pay to use the community dry. Very disappointing. The condo didn't appear to of been cleaned and they had to send housekeeping back up because the condo was dirty. The blankets and sheets had stains on them and definitely weren't washed, the walls in the kitchen had food stains on them, we found mold on the floor in the living room & the rugs had sand all over them. We come out every year and I have never been so disappointed. The entire experience with this condo left us thinking that we may need to look into other places to stay for our future vacations. Displeasing to say the least. I'm not a person to leave negative reviews, but I don't want this to happen to another family.

The staff at the front desk didn’t even notify us during check in, basically house cleaning out some painters tape on it that said broke. After we inquired about it, we were told it had been out of service for months. Front desk attitude gave the impression that they could care less about the situation.

The BEST stay - Unit 415 was Amazing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are so glad we chose to stay at The Islander. This was our first trip to Destin and first time at The Islander. I did a ton of research & couldn't have picked a better place. This unit was amazing - pristine clean, beautifully updated and had all the extras we needed. The views were amazing as well. Some things we really appreciated that weren't mentioned in the resort descriptions: They sell bags of ice at the front desk for $3. This was SO convenient! We were in Destin for our son's world series baseball tourney, so it came in handy for coolers but also was great for heading to the beach. We had a blender in our room and even tupperware bowls with lids - also great for packing snacks for the beach. There was a yoga mat and two small beach chairs. Plenty of towels and even a lounge chair on the balcony (along with a table and chairs). They had nice railings on the sides of the balcony which was great for hanging towels to dry, without making the place look trashy. We loved these little thoughtful things that made the unit even more functional. There were a couple of board games in the unit as well and plenty of bed linens. Everything was so great, staff was super friendly and our kids loved all the amenities - pools, tennis/basketball and we had so much fun playing shuffleboard. The gazebo/pavilion with grills was also beautiful - we hung out here with friends one night & they let our friends park in the lot when they came for dinner, no problem. Loved this location in Destin, it was convenient to everything including a Target across the street and the Mexican restaurant, La Paz, just down from the condo was good too. The beach chair service that was included was also so nice! If you want the front row closest to the water you'll need to get to the beach early in the morning but otherwise, we loved that you could show up any time of day and there were always chairs available. We will absolutely be back!Thank you for everything!

Great Time on the Beach

The floor in the living room and balcony had a lot of sand, thankfully there is a vacuum in the unit. Two remote controls for the ceiling fans were missing the batteries, I was promised that the maintenance guy would fix it but he never showed up, had to buy them myself. One evening gigantic cockroach showed up. The worst part is that no smoking policy is not enforced it all. Many people smoke on the balconies, which is prohibited, making the whole place stinky and flick cigarette buts on the cars parked below.

Second Time in 415

It’s been well-maintained and very comfortable. The washer and dryer only work well if you do very small loads, but it’s a great convenience to have. For larger or multiple loads, the second floor laundry is better.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would definitely stay here again. GREAT LOCATION! No issues with parking. Plenty spaces were available. Plenty of comfortable condo for a family of 6. Very short walk to the beach. Very convenient having grocery carts to help with luggage & everything else you bring to stay in a condo. Everything we needed was in the condo. It rained due to a tropical storm-the condo had games to keep my kiddos occupied until the rain passed. There were 2 minor things: the washer wouldn't come on. I contacted management & it was taken care of same day. (It just needed to be reset nothing major) The condo was very clean. I did sweep everyday just to keep the floors clean throughout the stay. While sweeping, I swept up a few chunks of glass from the master bathroom. I'm not sure what it was from but we were barefoot & that was concerning if they we would have gotten glass in our feet. I didn't do a good sweep (just enough to keep the sand from getting everywhere) so I'm not sure how house keeping didn't get that from doing a thorough sweep & mop. AC worked GREAT! We really did enjoy our stay & would definitely recommend to anyone.
