Lujosamente amueblado con toques de diseño que incluyen nuevos gabinetes de cocina, encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable con una gran cantidad de utensilios de cocina. Brillante, moderna unidad inspirada en el decorador, perfecta para familias más grandes con azulejos en todas partes. El juego de cama King costero en el dormitorio principal cuenta con un amplio baño con encimeras de granito y una ducha a ras de suelo. Dormitorio de invitados único con cama matrimonial y literas. El baño de la sala tiene encimeras de granito y combinación de bañera / ducha. Un montón de cómodos asientos en la sala de estar con sofá cama queen sofá cama. Gran TV de alta definición y DVD en la sala de estar. Televisores de pantalla plana en las dos habitaciones. La mesa del comedor tiene sillas tapizadas para seis personas con dos taburetes de cuero en la isla. I enjoyed staying at The Islander. It was in a great location. There was very short walk to the beach. The views were beautiful. It was definitely a bonus to have the chairs/umbrella included in our stay.

Fall Break

Had a great stay. The room was clean and perfect for families of 4 to 6. The living area, bathrooms and kitchen were very nice. Great view from balcony and wonderful location. The only thing I would like to mention the master needs a new ceiling fan and the sheets and pillows need updating on the king bed. The condo is definitely worth 5 stars. We’ll be back next year.

Love the views from the balcony. They always have small activities to do. They had movie night this time. The only thing that was a deal breaker was that only one elevator was working, so we had to take the stairs up to the 6th floor. Overall, The Islander always feels like home. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented as a platinum. The stove & dishwasher needs to be updated. The shower in the hall needs switch on shower head replaced. Part of the water comes out of the faucet when shower head is turned on. When we checked in we were told maintenance would be coming in to fix shower door handle. When opened handle fell off. The mattress in master bedroom should be replaced with one that the owner would want to sleep on. Very uncomfortable. We would not rent this room again until updated. We have stayed at the Islander for years.

I tried a different Platinum unit and it was gross. Dirt around bath tubes, black stuff in shower, broken stools at the counter, stains on extra blankets, dirty refrigerator, leather ottomans stained from water, no area rug as in the picture so a room full of only tile feels cold and stark and unwelcoming. Furniture is old. Kitchen pans are ancient. I would recommend the Islander but not this unit.

Not Bad, but Not Great

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was nice and nicely decorated. The bed in the Master bedroom was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. My husband normally doesn’t sleep well and he said it was the best week of sleep he has ever had. The only issue with this specific unit was that the drawers were dirty and had not been cleaned out so I didn’t feel comfortable unpacking my clothes. As far as the Islander resort, overall it was great, however, I would not choose to stay here again with young children, simply due to the beach setup. The Islander secures only a small space on the beach so their chairs are set up in two crowded horseshoe shapes so it is very difficult to watch your children in the water. I would have to get up and go sit in the sand to watch my children in the water. Had I known, I would have brought our own chairs and umbrella and moved to a different location on the beach where I could have a more relaxing view to watch my children enjoy the Gulf.

Reviewer Comments: The location is great, the elevator closer to the rental desk was Jerry and felt unsafe, the beds in unit 616 were HORRIBLE and hurt our backs to sleep on, there was a hole in the sheetrock in master bath, trash chutes need cleaning, one of the reclining patio chairs is broken and dumped me on the ground and I'm 5'11" 210 lbs. I was sore from that for 2 days. I've been renting at the islander for 26 years and I will not rent that unit again. We opted to leave a day early to avoid having to be in those beds and at $500 a night essentially that tells you something. We arrived Monday evening and left Thursday afternoon instead of Friday

The folks in and around the Islander are especially friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well appointed. If you intend to visit the nearby restaurants, you will need a car. My only complaint about the Islander is that the grills in the common area would be gas instead of charcoal.
