Birthday trip

Very good. Unit needs updating but we enjoyed convenience. Had not been properly cleaned. Coffee pot had molded grounds in it. Laundry room was very dusty & door track was a bit disgusting in the track. But again great location & convenient!

You can’t beat the location of this place. It is right on the beach with a beautiful view. This was our first time in Fort Walton, and we will be back!

On the beach

Great location right on the beach. No streets to cross. Even while sitting on the deck it feels like you're on the beach. Easy access to pool. Plenty of parking. Unit is spacious with many conveniences, including beach chairs and umbrella.

Loved the accommodations

The property was very nice. Decorated nicely and clean. The door going out to the deck has a broken handle. The elevator began to malfunction in the last day or two. Being on the first floor was helpful

Love 103 Sea Dunes

This was our 3rd year in Condo 103 Sea Dunes. My husband, 4 adult children a girlfriend and boyfriend(8 of us) fit fine in the condo. We used all 3 rooms plus the sofa sleeper. Condo is well stocked, and decorated nicely. Stairs to the back balcony are great... no need to take elevator. Covered parking beneath...which was a godsend because a rock blew out our back window on the ride to the beach! Wonderful addition this year was the high balcony chairs. Fabulous view to the beach. We have 2 other families that we go with and they stayed on either side of us, so we were all close. Short boardwalk to beach with complimentary 2 beach chairs. Because we had a large group, George and Jason accommodated us by putting our chairs on the end together at our request. Water was clear most days. We had such a great time that we booked for next year!

First time Sea Dunes

This was our first day in the Sea Dunes. This unit has many useful inclusions, very tasteful and high-end decor, as well as direct beach access. We have vacationed on this island 12 times, and have changed our location to here based on this experience. See you next times Sea Dunes 103.

Replace master bed

Stay was great. Property was clean and nice. As others mentioned previously in reviews, the balcony furniture should be pub style so you can see over railing. The master bedroom bed is horrible. It was temporary fixed, but within 2 nights it was broke again. The mattress is also very uncomfortable. Wasn't a big deal about the broken elevator since its on 1st floor. The parking garage is super tight. There's sections of 3 spots together, but you can't open doors if you are 3 tight in them. I know that's not your fault though 😊 We will be back next year. Nothing here can't be fixed and not keep a 5☆. Still awesome! Thank you!!

Great location! Beautiful view. Property was clean and we felt safe.

We enjoyed this property. Bunk bed room is a little small for 2 teenagers. But would be perfect for small children. Everything else was wonderful!

Relaxing week at Ft Walton Beach

Our family of 5 stayed in unit 103 7/19-7/25. We had a wonderful time! Parking: there was plenty of outdoor parking and several covered spots although the covered spots were narrow. There was not a parking attendant or gate, you simply park where you want and place the car tag in your windshield. Unit: unit 103 was large and comfortable, more than enough room for our family. The AC was cool and the shower pressure was good (also, the water was hot, which is critical to me). The bathrooms were large and there was a lot of closet space. 2 of the 3 bedrooms have ceiling fans (no fan in the front room with bunk beds). The TV in the main living area had several remotes and no instructions, but we were able to figure out how to use it. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. Kitchen: the kitchen had a good sized pantry and was well stocked in terms of plates, silverware, etc. You will need to bring dish soap, sponge and basic condiments (these are usually included when we stay in condos but not here). Location: Great location. Publix is a mile or 2 down the road and the beach is literally right outside. We chose this unit because it's the ground unit and we could exit our balcony (via a gate and walk almost directly onto the beach. Beach: the beach is gorgeous and the unit comes with an umbrella and 2 chairs. They set them up around 8am-9am and took them down around 4pm. This condo relatively small so the beach never felt crowded with people. Overall, great stay!

Awesome Condo!

Second year staying at Sea Dunes. Last year we were on 2nd floor. Moved to 1st floor this year to be next to family in other condos on 1st floor. Can't beat the access to beach...stairs straight from your balcony. No elevator needed. We parked our car right underneath and unpacked right to balcony entrance. Condo was very bright and cheery. Beach access boardwalk is convenient, as is the pool. Tom Thumb very close across small street is very convenient for groceries. Chairs on beach were easy to set up by attendant...tipped extra to have our 6 chairs placed on the end near a canopy we had. Some suggestions to owner is.... much bigger coffee mugs and higher counter height chairs on balcony. Being on 1st floor level obstructs some views of beach due to sand dunes. The other 1st floor condo balconies have these high chairs, so not sure why 103 doesn't have them. Even just 2 would be great! Also can't beat Florida water!!

Absolutely loved this condo. I would definitely go back and stay. Loved the fact that you could walk right up to this condo from the beach and did not have to take the elevator. It was great for my disabled family member. I will definitely be going back to this condo.

Snow bird time at Sea Dunes #103

Please be aware that this is a review for an extended stay at #103 and is based on my personal preferences. We have stayed at five different condos on Okaloosa Island, and this one is the closest to the actual beach. Pros - price couldn't be beat! spacious with 2 bedrooms and a bunk room, beach views are awesome with an easy access to beach by walking down our own private stairs; proximity to restaurants and Destin. Cons - The king bed is a soft mattress, the living room couches, especially the love seat are VERY soft; and dampness and mold are a problem in the winter since the unit is directly above the parking garage. Keep in mind that winter 2020 was abnormally rainy. One suggestion is to add a couple of high top chairs to the balcony. The view could be improved by looking over the balcony railing rather than thru the railing. We left a week early. I would book again for a week, but not for a month or longer.

Sea Dunes 103

We have stayed in nearly every unit in the Sea Dunes complex. This particular unit seems the least appointed of all the units we've stayed in. The pots and pans are so old, along with all of the other kitchen utensils. The carpets are worn. Two of the five lounging chairs at the pool were busted and not usable. On the plus side, the master bed was comfortable.

Great family stay

Unit was clean and as pictured. We had a great time! Beach is beautiful!!! Chair service was great! Ask for Seth!! Covered parking/garage was a little tight, but we made it work, even with a minivan. But if you have a larger vehicle, there are other spots just as close. Pretty much everything you need to make your own meals. Beds we're comfy (which is usually a crap shoot with a rental). The best part is being on the first floor and walking out the balcony down to the beach! Side notes- there is a little mini Mart a minute walk away in the parking lot if you forget anything and we recommend the Old Bay Steamer restaurant down the street-always good food, been lots! A tad pricey, but split a steamer pot of you're on a budget. Worth it! Overall five stars!!

Awesome Experience!

Our stay was fabulous. The unit was exactly as described in the promotional materials and photos. Sitting on the patio and enjoying the wonderful view and sounds of the beach while having coffee was awesome. It was literally only a few minutes walk to the beach to feel the white sands under your feet. Chairs and umbrellas were set up every morning for the guests to use. This unit was well furnished and the beds were comfortable. We're already planning for another week of relaxation at the beach next year. Jim & Patti, Toledo, Ohio

We had an extended stay

We had an extended stay over the winter. This is a homey, comfortable condo. It had a nicely outfitted kitchen and there was always lots of hot water. The master bed was uncomfortably hard. That can be easily fixed. We would return to this condo.
