El rancho es una hermosa casa de 3 pisos, 3 habitaciones y 2 baños en medio de 60 acres hermosos. Ubicado en un gran lago que conecta con el St. John's River con total aislamiento y privacidad. Estas son unas vacaciones únicas con todas las comodidades y aún a 35 minutos de las playas de Daytona y New Smyrna ya una hora de Orlando. Otras atracciones son Two Springs (20 minutos en auto), excelentes restaurantes, golf, snorkel, alquiler de botes, pesca, buceo, senderismo y excelente pesca y paseos en bote. todo ubicado cerca del histórico Deland. También hemos agregado Internet inalámbrico de alta velocidad y un nuevo televisor Sony de alta definición de 55 pulgadas con su propia sala de películas para entretenimiento nocturno con DVD. También tenemos un cribado en la piscina con jacuzzi. El rancho también tiene un muelle y una rampa para botes en el lago Beresford. Hay manantiales a solo 4 millas río abajo para visitar en bote donde puede hacer un picnic, nadar o bucear. En barco hay kilómetros de hermosos ríos y afluentes para explorar o relajarse en el porche envolvente. El rancho es perfecto para bodas de cualquier tamaño, funciones familiares, reuniones o eventos de negocios, con estacionamiento ilimitado. Hay una sala de abajo que también se puede usar para preparar comida, bailar, etc. No hay otra propiedad que se compare en la zona.

We stayed here right after Thanksgiving; it was a great! the house was exactly as described. We had plenty of parking for everyone, it was clean and cozy. we will definitely be staying here again next year

Beautiful location

Beautiful ranch,great location. Property just as described. We enjoyed our stay,plenty of room inside, we loved the wrap around porch. Roy is a great host,very responsive and helpfull. We are planning to return in the near future.

great privacy

Location and privacy was great, but the house is in need of repairs and deep cleaning. The 3 ladies in our party did not feel comfortable. With some work, this could be an awesome rental.

Rowing Campers Dream!

We came to Florida to attend a local masters rowing camp. Roy’s place was quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped to cooking and grilling. Roy was very responsive. We had a great stay!

Quiet and Peaceful

Stayed here during a rowing camp so didn't spend a lot of time at the house. Everything was as advertised and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. The best part was the beautiful setting along Lake Beresford. I wish I had booked an extra day so I could have sat on the porch and enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and peaceful setting.

Unique property

Great location, beautiful views, plenty of room. Wraparound deck provides amazing panoramic views of property and Lake Beresford. Home is spacious and comfortable. Great place to relax and unwind.

Secluded ranch with plenty of space. Close to the SunRail, and a nice drive to the beach. We had a great stay.

Incredibly Peaceful

The property is a special Florida natural preserve! If the old barns could talk, I believe there are all sorts of stories to be told! Sunrise was spectacular. Thanks to the owners for their care of the land, and being generous enough to let people stay and enjoy it!

Secluded quiet farm setting

It was just like the description. House was large & comfortable for the 7 of us. Plenty of room for relaxing inside or outside on the porches. Our only issue was the weather/rain which caused getting in/out the driveway with motorcycles a bit challenging. All in all a great week was had by all.

So very near the water

I needed a place to stay that was near to the rowing camp I was attending and this place fit the bill perfectly. I also had 2 bedrooms with their own baths which was great for me and my friend. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and the property is very private.

Family vacation

We found our stay to be very quite and relaxing. The view of the lake from the porch was always nice to sit and socialize and watch boats going by . The pool water was very nice and cool which makes for a very relaxing day . There was plenty of sleeping room for our group of 8 . Easy to get to Town and only about 25-30 minutes drive to the Beaches (Daytona or New Symrna) . Over all stay was a very nice . Review of the place is exactly what it’s says . Thank you Roy & Cindy for our stay . Sincerely Shellie and Alvin Roberts and Family !

BEWARE: DIRTY &SOMEWHAT DANGEROUS PROPERTY. OWNER NEVER REPAIRS OR UPDATES ANYTHING

This Owner is telling you everything you need to know about what kind of Host he is in the Listing so LISTEN TO HIM. I rationalized everything he and the reviews said and I am sorry I did! Owner is nice but very PARANOID. He will call you multiple times to list EVERYTHING YOU CANNOT DO AT HIS HOME BEFORE YOU EVER ARRIVE. Thinks everyone coming is out to cheat him and to party. You will either not be able to use the amenities because they don't work or because he wont allow it used . WHAT YOU ARE ALLOWED TO DO WONT WORK POOL/HOT TUB/AC VIRTUALLY ANYTHING YOU NEED IS NOT WORKING WELL OR AT ALL. You cannot enjoy the 80 acres that he boasts in his listing because he does not want you walking or driving in unsanctioned areas. There is also an Alligator on property and you cant go near the pond that is only a few yards from the house. Nervous for me. UNRELIABLE AC * NO DRYER IN HOUSE & WASHER BARELY WORKS. He keeps *BRAND NEW washer and dryer in his AIRPLANE HANGER along with BRAND NEW OUTDOOR FURNITURE stacked up with the tags still on them while his "Guests" have to use furniture that is 40 years old and in such nasty disrepair you have to consider your clothing before you sit down. *POOL IS NOT MAINTAINED AT ALL. NOT USABLE. HE WILL TELL YOU IT IS BUT IT IS NOT!! ITS HEATED IT BUT HE WONT TELL YOU OR MAKE IT USABLE. HE DOES NOT WANT TO PAY FOR ANY REPAIRS OR ELECTRICITY. *HOUSE FILTHY ALL ROOMS *FURNITURE FULL OF DOG HAIR AND FOOD. *KITCHEN DIRTY AND FRIDGE DISGUSTING *BEDS DIRTY FULL OF DOG/HUMAN HAIR *BATHS FILTHY AND DOES NOT WORK-Sinks disgusting. Pubic Hair in Showers. *WRITE YOUR NAME ON THE DIRTY HARDWOOD FLOORS! HE DOES NOT CHARGE A CLEANING FEE! I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO PAY A CLEANING FEE AND GET A CLEANED HOUSE!! BONUS! DEAD ROTTING DOG! next to the perfectly usable concrete boat ramp with the sign that reads: DO NOT USE BOAT RAMP DO NOT EVEN STEP ON. The dogs bones were exposed it had been there for days and he knew it just did not care. To sum it up this HOST does not value the GUESTS. I say this because he does nothing to make the home ready. NO CLEANING, NO MAINTENANCE ON ANYTHING. GARBAGE FURNITURE ON PORCHES LITERALLY FALLING APART. Decks rotting and dangerous weak spots that you could fall through. Believe me I could go on and list more so If you rent this home knowing all of this then your asking and paying for what you get. I told all and more to owner. His response: "Dont leave a review then" ha ha.

Peaceful & Relaxing

Thank you Mr Zimmer for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We enjoyed you home and property very much. The pool was in excellent condition and it helped cool us down on the hot days. The property was gorgeous and we enjoyed fishing on the large lake. Thanks again for your hospitality

Great host!

Roy's property is absolutely beautiful! The house was not perfectly updated and groomed, but Roy was perfectly up front about that, and it was just as he described it. The surroundings exceeded our expectations. The pool was great, the wildlife varied and beautiful, and the sense of space and privacy wonderful! Roy was helpful, generous, and readily available to address any questions - he was a great host. I plan to return sometime! Thanks for a great week for my family.

Beautiful Property - Great Place To Stay

This rental is a hidden gem in DeLand, just outside of Daytona. My friends and I stayed for a week and absolutely loved the space and solitude this properety affords. This is well stocked with the essentials you may need on kitchen, bath, and laundry. We all loved staying here and would certainly rent again. Don't hesitate to stay at the ranch.

Beautiful location

As advertised… beautiful sunrise over the lake…Spanish moss in the trees… on 60 acres… felt like we were the only people around…. Host was very helpful…would stay again,,,
