The Monarch House, in the heart of downtown Deland

Welcome! This house was built in 1920 and has been beautifully restored. It's three blocks from the center of downtown Deland! Walk or take a quick bike ride to restaurants and shops. It is a large two story house (2,400sq. ft)! Ping pong, air hockey, cornhole, checkers/chess table, 4 bikes included, huge front porch for people watching, grill, basketball hoop, large natural gas fire pit, and soooo much more! The bunk room upstairs has its own Livingroom and foosball coffee table! Nothing compares!!

The space
Our house has all original hardwood floors throughout. This makes it easy to sanitize and clean. We also made sure to purchase Ruggible brand rugs because they can be machine washed and sanitized as well. All beds have a Tommy Bahama bed protector with 100% Anti-Microbial Silver Infused Hypoallergenic Polyester Fill. The main bedroom has a king size Sleep Number bed with dual side adjustments. Feel free to make the mattress as firm or as soft as you'd like. We believe that this house will be like your family's home away from home, with special attention to providing a premium place to stay in Deland. We teamed up with a local soap maker to provide our guests with custom made organic goat milk soap. A bar will be placed in the master bathroom upstairs and we encourage everyone to take it home! There are sound machine alarm clocks in every room with usb charging ports. Games, books, and a large dvd selection is ready and waiting! In one of the rooms upstairs we placed a "Total Gym" for anyone wanting to keep up with their daily or weekly workout. For the fun side of things there is an awesome Margaritaville drink maker in the kitchen as well as an icemaker that produces 100lbs of ice daily. Our house sits on a half acre with plenty of yard and space for kids to enjoy.

As just another little bonus….. the China cabinets in the dinning room are stocked with tons of local Deland items purchased from shops around town. In case you forgot a souvenir, something for your stay, or gift for someone we have you covered! All you have to do is send a message about wanting something and we will unlock the cabinet for you. There is zero mark up. You pay what it cost at the store. It’s all about supporting local business owners and friends.

IMPORTANT DETAILS!!!!!

Our nightly rate is based on a total of 8 guests. We can accommodate two additional guests for a $20 per person, per night fee. Which means a max of 10 guests. Anyone booking who disrespects this will be asked to leave immediately without any refund.

There is a ton of paved parking in the front of the house. The FRONT of the house has 2-4 parking spaces that are for this rental. Do not block the driveway to the back of the house or park behind the house. Overflow parking, and additional vehicles can be arranged with advanced notice and approval. There will be no issue with any type of vehicle you may bring…….you just have to communicate about it first.

****Rules regarding service dogs are firm and booking with us is your acceptance of our requirements, regardless if you did not do your due diligence in reading all the details before booking. We are a pet free rental due to family members with SEVERE allergies. “If” a non service dog is brought onto the property that will be an immediate cancelation of the booking, with an additional $300 fee pulled from the security deposit.

Service animals need to be disclosed when the booking is created, and an exsplanation of what service they provide. If fraud is found concerning this we will take full and immediate action.
