The little Lake House in DeLand FL is a Beautiful, Comfortably Renovated Lake Front Cottage on the private and pristine Lake Winnemissett. This newly renovated cottage is close and convenient to everything; Historic Downtown DeLand, Stetson and Embry Riddle Universities, I-4, I-95, Daytona Speedway, Volusia Beaches and Springs (Blue, Gemini and DeLeon), Historic Sanford, Orlando and more.

The little Lake House DeLand offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and sleeps 6 comfortably with plenty of room to separate or come together. It is newly renovated and updated; very clean, comfortable and well appointed. From the beautiful original hardwood floors to the newly renovated and updated kitchen and baths, The little Lake House is truly a place to feel comfortable.

Work, play or relax while enjoying the waterfront from the inside views, the back yard, patio or dock. Lake Winnemissett is a beautiful private lake and considered the most pristine in all of Volusia County.

Lounge indoors, swim or just relax on the dock. There is plentiful parking.

The Little Lake House was a perfect place for our family of 6. Quaint Florida feel. The sun room is the perfect place to relax and watch the kids fish off the dock or kayak the lake. Sitting out back in the early morning is relaxing. The house was VERY clean, open and airy and well stocked. Nancy communicated regularly and left the lights on because we arrived after dark. We have family in Deland and will definitely be returning to The Little Lake House.

The Little Lake House is the perfect get away! The house was clean and well stocked. The location was excellent for sight seeing during the day and returning to the view of the lake at the end of the day.

We had a great stay at this The Little Lake House! The property was very clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. We absolutely loved our stay at The Little Lake House. The interiors are decorated with style, subtle elegance and very relaxing natural colors. The three bedrooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner coomunicated very well and made us feel welcome from the time of reservation to the end of the stay. The backyard on the lake is definitely the best feature of the house. Perfect for enjoying a peaceful breakfast or dinner. The house is less than a 10 minute drive from downtown Deland and Stetson University. It was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter's graduation. I definitely recommend it. Thank you to the lovely owner for making our special occasion even more special with her kindness and care.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was exactly as described and served as an excellent base for exploring the area, including Downtown DeLand, Cassadaga, and many attractions throughout the greater Orlando region. The lakefront setting was a highlight of our stay. The swimming was fantastic, with perfect water temperatures, and the host thoughtfully provided kayaks and all necessary equipment for guests who wished to use them. We were pleasantly surprised that, despite being on a lake, there were virtually no mosquitoes or bothersome bugs, allowing us to comfortably enjoy the outdoors. The host was exceptional; informative, responsive, communicative, and helpful throughout our stay. Communication was prompt, clear, and helpful, enabling us to plan accordingly, and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for our stay, and when a minor appliance issue arose, it was addressed promptly with alternative solutions provided. This ensured that our vacation remained comfortable and stress-free. Overall, the property met all our expectations and provided a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. We especially appreciated the host’s attentiveness, responsiveness, and commitment to making our stay pleasant. We would gladly stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area.

Our family of 5 had a perfect stay over the holidays. The house was extremely clean, had everything we needed - well stocked kitchen, large TV, comfy beds, and the lake views were fantastic. We loved waking up each morning to a pair of Sandhill Cranes just outside the picture frame window. The kayaks were an extra bonus that we enjoyed a great deal. We would certainly return in the future!

Our stay at the little lake house was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Nancy was great at communicating and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. So many thoughtful touches throughout the home-full kitchen with welcome basket of goodies, extremely comfortable beds, with plenty of extra blankets and pillows, bath towels were high end, and the home decor is beautiful. The view from the living room onto the lake is gorgeous. We had such a nice time and really appreciated staying in this home!

Had a great time at the lake house! We were staying in DeLand for Stetson’s homecoming and this was a great spot to hang out during our down time. Such a great view on the lake, would reccomend! Great communication from the host as well.

What a great stay! 12/10 — we would absolutely stay here again. The house was so clean, everything worked perfectly, and the host was welcoming, kind, and responsive throughout our visit.This was just a quick stop for our family as we checked a few state parks off our bucket list, but we quickly realized we should have stayed longer to fully enjoy the house and the lake. DeLand is such a cute town, and the proximity to both the parks and downtown was excellent.The home is on a busier street than I initially realized, but once you’re in the backyard or sitting in the sunroom overlooking the lake, it’s completely forgotten.The only constructive feedback I would offer is possibly adding a deadbolt to the exterior door in the queen bedroom for a bit of extra peace of mind. Even without it, we would definitely come back. This place is truly a gem!

Perfect little escape

Amazed at how close to the city of Deland, while still having that cozy lake house feel this place is. Plenty of room for all of the family, and kayaks available to enjoy the peace of the lake.
