Beautiful Views Beacfront!

We had an amazing 4 night stay! Everything was just perfect and the views were amazing from every room. The only room that didn’t have a window or ventilation was the bunk room.

Great Location

Very clean and great location close to Thomas’s Donut shop and Carousel market. Easy check-in process and plenty of beach chairs/inflatables for you to use. Definitely would come back!

A good place

Great location. The place was clean and the access to beach was great. Kitchen was a little small and because of no pantry had to put food on counter. The rooms were great as well as the balcony. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay on the beach

perfect location

The outside of the condo is outdated, but the inside is very nice! It was clean, and a perfect location to the beach. I was not impressed with the customer service, but luckily we didn't need them during our actual stay!

Ultimate Beach Retreat House

From the minute you walk in the view is breathtaking. The owners have made this place one of the most relaxing and comfortable beach houses we have stayed in. The kitchen has everything you need and the living area is large and furnished with enough seating for everyone. We enjoyed the comfortable beds after a day in the sun on the beach and in the Gulf. Can't say enough good things about this place - it was PERFECT! Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven on earth.

Great location, clean and nice, we were pleased!

The only negative things I can say is they were doing construction on one of the townhomes two over from us and the noise from that was annoying. I know this isn’t the property managements fault and can’t help that, but I did ruin our peaceful mornings on the patio. There also wasn’t a blender!! First time in my many years of coming to PCB that I haven’t had a blender in the rental I stayed in but we improvised with a small food processor LOL. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, just bring my personal blender with me!

Great beach not so great unit

Location was great, Rental was crazy dusty, walls, tv wall unit, stairs, stove did not heat, dryer did not heat, cushions on couch and decorative cushion were crunchy and ….. wow they were zippered so took a peek and they were in plastic trash bags never-mind dirty and very worn on the outside….all the closets were locked and bedrooms had flimsy wooden hanger thing, not worth what we paid for. Thank goodness the beach was right there!!! We f I could attach pictures I would. Sent them to property management and was told they were being sent “to the manager” never heard a word back.

Not as advertised

1. Broken window on 3rd floor-it wouldn’t shut. Called for maintenance repeatedly that evening. Finally they arrived 2 hours later and temporarily fixed it with a towel and duct tape. What a joke. 2. A/C took at least 24 hours to get to 76 degrees. The thermostat was programmed to 72. We set it to 69 for evenings and to sleep-it never made it that cool - EVER! 3. Upon checkin also noticed the majority of numerous rugs and door mats through out were all stained. 4. (4)Full-overflowing trash bins were located right outside our door in no orderly fashion. 5. Parking spots were not user friendly-we had a call from panhandle Wednesday at 10:39 pm that said we were parked incorrectly. There were no instructions given before this. 6. Cottage cheese in cabinet with expiration date of 2015. 7. Multiple snacks found in bedroom drawers-even a crispy creme donut. 8. Cooked ramen noodles/seaweed/animal droppings on upper patio-hasn’t been swept in a while. 9. Rollaway bed was hazardous to lay on. Upper bunk bed mattress rock hard. 10. Privacy curtains on ground floor deck were hideously mildewed. 11. Refrigerators were not set at a cooling temperature and there was no ice. 12. Wifi username/password did not work. We had maintenance guy and someone he called on phone try to figure it out. We eventually used our own hotspots. 13. I emailed ahead of our stay about beach chair rentals-I was told to check next door at the resort. There was no resort next door. I called and was told they would get back with me first thing Tuesday morning. I received a call at 11:15 am Tuesday morning with a reference to call Scott with chairs2u. I personally researched for beach chairs and already had our chairs set up with Scott by 9:30am that morning. Scott with Chairs2U understands customer service. He was phenomenal to deal with. 14. Multiple lamps were not working and/or not plugged in. 15. No closets were available for use. They were all locked with notes that they were “owner only”. There were notes on every closet door. 16. The garage was like a junk yard. You couldn’t walk in much less use.

Perfect Beach get away.

The property was just as advertised. Very clean. What we loved was the view of the beach. It was so nice every morning waking up, enjoying my coffee and watching the beach from the patio. Every evening the family would gather and watch the sun go down. We also really loved the fact that we could just walk out the back door and we were on the beach! The couple times we did need to communicate with the host, they were quick to respond and very helpful. We will be back!

Great beach access but some issues with privacy

Pros-Direct Beach Access, Clean, Great Property Management Cons-Missing sections of vertical blinds in living area and bottom floor bedroom led to no privacy. Bottom level bedroom with direct beach access was set up as the kids quarters and was 3 floors away from parents. Not very safe if you have young children. Probably would work great for teens. when sitting on second level balcony you can see directly into neighbors balcony . Consider putting partitions up as several units further down had.

Not Great

Overall, we weren't very impressed with this rental - especially considering the amount of money we spent to stay in the beach house. There were stains on the carpet and the futon on the main level. The cover on the couch on the second floor was filthy as well. A few of the pillow cases weren't clean, so I ended up having to wash them myself. The shower curtain liners were dirty. None of the clocks worked. The toilet in the master bedroom wasn't fully attached to the floor. The door handle to the deck was beginning to crack and break. There were a few scattered lightbulbs out. I did call and speak to Panhandle Getaways about a few of the above mentioned concerns, and they did try to fix them....but these are things families shouldn't have to worry about on vacation! My parents, brothers, and my husband and kids were all on vacation together, and I was honestly embarrassed to have booked this place for us to stay. I wish it were kept up a bit better - it could have been great.

This was the perfect place to spend our family beach vacation! It is right on the beach w/ easy access, the amenities were all updated and worked great, the beds were comfortable and perfect size for our group. It was very clean and well-maintained. Hope to come back next year!

Fantastic place to stay at PCB. Highly recommended.

The location of this home is second to none. Very private beach area. The 20 foot walk to the beach is my favorite thing - we were able to keep all of our beach gear outside under the deck and be set up in a matter of minutes. The home is very clean and comfortable. Thank you to the owner for allowing our family to enjoy your home for a few days. We made lots of memories with our children. Will definitely rent this home again.

Perfect!

This was exactly what I had in mind when I wanted a beachfront place for my family to stay. We got to see a dolphin and a stingray jump out of the water. The deck is wonderful, you can sit there and enjoy the beach all day. The kitchen had a lot of utensils and the entertainment center was well stocked. The path straight from the house to the beach was wonderful. The beach is literally right there! We found some notes about roaches but never saw one. I would love to return to this property for my future vacations.
