Welcome to East Bay Cottage - a well appointed, large 4 bed house at The Bay Filey holiday village. Located right near a boules court and within a short walk of the meadows this is a perfect choice for a large or two family holiday. East Bay Cottage has had new hard flooring throughout and a kitchen upgrade in late 2022.

Enter into the property and use the large storage space for all your coats and shoes, Walk through the large dining room with extended dining table seating 8. Off the dining room is a WC and ground floor bedroom - ideal for multi generational family holidays.

The other door leads to a large kitchen and lounge area with all the appliances you'll expect for a self-catering break including a large fridge / freezer and spacious lounge / seating area.

The large kitchen / lounge to the rear of the property has two large sets of French doors leading to a patio on 2 aspects with BBQ area. The lounge area has a lovely corner leather sofa and SMART TV. There is access to the Boules Court through the French door to the patio which can seat 8 and a fabulous brick built BBQ.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with rainfall shower. There is a further double bedroom and a twin-bedded room. The family bathroom has a bath and overhead rainfall shower. Central heating throughout.

Parking is available in the resort car park, a mere 2-minute walk from the property.

East Bay Cottage is a large pet friendly house and is ideal for a large family with space for 2 dogs!

-Unlimited wifi throughout
-Spacious kitchen with full size fridge-freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Good sized house for 8 off us and 1 dog . Nice and clean ,comfy beds and well stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment. A couple of things need attention window blinds not working and one ripped but all in all a nice cottage .

Brilliant Stay!

Can’t fault the house. Well presented plenty of room and full facilities. The Bay is a fantastic venue and the access to the Beach is wonderful, particularly as we got great weather. My 3 Grandkids had a fantastic time using the indoor swimming pool. My dog had a fine old time as well! The nearby parking was very busy at times so first come first served basis.

Lovely short break by the sea

Lovely big house with adequate room for our family of 7. Great location close to lovely beach and site facilities, Easy drive into Filey, Cayton, Scarborough etc.

Lovely, clean and well equipped

Just back from a lovely few days at East Bay Cottage. The house itself was very clean and really well equipped. Wifi worked great and it was nice to be able to use Netflix etc for the kids. All in all a great stay, would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant stay at east bay

We’ve been to the bay Filey on numerous occasions, and have enjoyed each stay. East bay cottage was the biggest property we have stayed in and it didn’t disappoint. Very clean, comfortable and lots of space. Anthony @ anchor bay holidays was great communication spot on and went out of his way to help us with our accommodation which was for 5 adults and a small dog. No hesitation we will be back ! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Another lovely stay

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this cottage. Fabulous location close to everything. The cottage itself has everything you could wish for and ideal for us as it has a downstairs bedroom and toilet that my elderly father could use without having to go upstairs. Customer service excellent and I would highly recommend staying here. Will definitely be back at some point. Thank you

Value for money

Great property which was clean and had everything we needed. Comfy beds and furniture, only real diwnside was the wifi was very intermittent at best. We had to reset it multiples times across the week. Good location on the village and only 5 mins from the shop and pub, a further 15 mins walk to the beautiful beach.

A lovely extended family sized cottage on The Bay. Well Presented with fully equiped kitchen and all the extras you could possible need. Impressed that stairgates are fitted as standard at top and bottom of stairs. Bedding and towels clean white linen. Location is about 15 min walk down to the beach. Nice aspect backing onto a gravel/ boules area. The grandchilden loved riding their balance bikes in safety. We were a family of 8 and the cottage met all our needs even on the rainy days

Great. Family break

Property excellent, had an issue with fridge but sorted straight away. Would definitely return great safe areas for children to play where you can watch them. Beach fantastic but walk back a bit challenging as steep hill. Don’t recommend eating in pub on site overpriced and under delivering but plenty of other places to eat a short distance away from property. Would definitely return.
