VEIG PALACE hause has is located in the center of Split's Old Town, and near of the UNESCO-protected Diocletian's Palace.There are two identical apartments on two floors equipped with sleeping and dining space. They have a common yard and a garden. Each one is equipped with a bridal bed for 2 persons. Offering a garden and a terrace, Apartments Veig is a self-catering accommodation. Free WiFi access is available throughout. The studio comes with a satellite flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchenette.
The private bathroom is complete with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Handmade beds from solid oak are 2 meters in length, and are equipped with anti-allergic and anatomic mattresses and pillows. A grocery shop is 50 meters away, while the green and fish market, as well as the nearest supermarket are 50 meters from Veig Palace. The Riva Promenade is 100 meters away from the property, while the most attractive city beach Bačvice is 10 minutes of walking distance.Offering a free bikes,garden and terraces.
Since the apartments are located in a pedestrian zone, we can provide you with a parking space, which is an 8-minute walk from the apartments and the price is 15 Euros per day.Reservation is required for parking.

Great location and host

Veig Palace was perfect for our needs. My wife and I shared one side of the nicely equipped duplex while my sister and her friend shared the other Frane our host guided us to the apartment and was responsive to every request.

Beautiful hideaway in the city center

Loved our stay in Split. Everything about the accommodations were as advertised. Great location and we enjoyed the private outdoor area. Beds, pillows and linens were all nice. We would recommend or stay here again. Frane was the best host and very responsive to our needs or questions.

An oasis amidst the bustle and charm of Old Town

The duplex gives you the best of two worlds - separate living spaces perfect for two couples with the beauty of a private shared garden patio where we could hang out together. It’s truly located in the heart of Old Town, walkable to everything we wanted and needed. Take into consideration that the bedroom is in the open loft and the bathroom is downstairs.

Great private terrace in old town

Perfect for two couples. Enjoyed beautiful late nights in the walled terrace listening to bustling old town. Inside apartments was quiet, cool and comfortable. Took the bikes to beaches east and west. Frane (host) was very accommodating and helpful.

Excellent Location in the Heart of Old Town Split

I don’t know how we could have picked a better location. Sandwich shops, bakeries, gelato, bars and coffe shops are all within a few minute walk. It was the perfect location for us since we walked everywhere. We walked to the coffee shop (Stowe) every morning for a delicious cappuccino. They also have wonderful cube croissants and breakfast toast. I highly recommend them. The restaurant and gelato choices are abundant. We ate at Fabrique gastro pub where the ribs fell off the bone and the drinks were spot on. Our host was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. The location is in the middle of town but we had minimal noise at night. It’s very well insulated so you forget where you are until you open the gate!

Great place!

We rented both units for three nights in October 2024. Had great weather and a great visit to Split. Frane answered all our questions, before and during the trip. Units were clean and well-cared for. Only negative would be that the bath towels are a little rough and could be replaced. Otherwise the unit had everything we needed. Recommend Lucica restaurant, walking the Marjan steps, and trying to tour the palace early in the day before tour groups arrive.

Perfect place to stay in Split

We spent 4 days in Spilt with another couple. This property could not have been more perfect for our situation. As the listing notes- it’s two, small, identical apartments each with one loft-style bedroom w a double bed. The garden patio was our sitting area for breakfast or to enjoy the bottles of wine the hosts provided as a welcome. The location was excellent- on the edge of the beautiful walled city- a bit noisy at night because of the restaurant behind the apartment, but not a bother. Don’t miss the bakery a few doors down with freshly baked chocolate croissants each morning. Loved having the use of the 4 bicycles , which we took by ferry to the island of Brac and rode out to the lovely village of Sutivan- highly recommend, (but be sure to ask for directions once you’re there- the dirt roads aren’t on the map). The hosts communicated well and met us at arrival to orient us. We highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Place to Relax and See Split

The host went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect including welcoming treats and water and helping us with reservations. The units were perfect for space, layout, air conditioning, and comfort. The best part was the private patio in the front for morning coffee and evening drinks. Highly recommend this home, a few stairs but worth it. Great location in the middle of everything, never had to take a taxi. Very comfortable beds and very quiet.
