Ryedale House is an exclusive, private development in the heart of York's historic core beside the River Foss. The building benefits from secure allocated parking and an onsite concierge. 204 sits on the 2nd floor.

The apartment benefits from an lovely external balcony complete with outdoor seating for 5. This gives great views over the River Foss and Clifford's Tower and is the perfect place to relax with a drink on your trip.

The kitchen area has been designed to the highest standards and features premium Neff appliances throughout.

The main living area features luxury, white Italian leather sofas and large Smart TV with complimentary Netflix for your enjoyment. The dining area can seat 5 for dinner. The high quality wooden floors throughout the apartment also have the added benefit of underfloor heating.

The master bedroom is a huge space features a zip and link bed that can be set as a super king or a twin. There's also a wall mounted TV and high quality fold out sofa bed for the occasional extra guest. This bedroom also has an ensuite complete with underfloor heating and bath with over head shower.

The second bedroom of the apartment features a double bed and TV. Both the bedrooms benefit from having USB sockets near the beds and high quality carpets throughout.

A second bathroom can be found in the hallway of the apartment complete with a walk in shower.

The apartment also has the added benefit of an allocated car park space onsite.

Great location. Very comfortable apartment which was quiet and well equipped. Really enjoyed it and hopefully will be able to stay again. Onsite, secure, parking was a real bonus.

Great location, clean, well equipped.

Check in was easy, concierge in building was very helpful too. The location is an easy walk to everywhere. Parking space is big enough for a big car. The property was modern and clean with everything needed. Would not hesitate to re-book.

Another Great Stay at Ryedale House

Having stayed at Ryedale House previously, at a different apartment but still with York Stays, we were not disappointed. Again a lovely modern apartment with a river view this time. The parking and the convenience to the city centre are the selling points to us. We will be back again.

Family stay at Ebor Suite

Our party of 4 adults and a baby had a most enjoyable stay at the Ebor Suite. The apartment was clean and well equipped (although a washing up bowl would have been useful - a very minor omission) and very well placed for sightseeing. We all travelled by train and it was easy to walk around the city. A few days before arriving I found that a high chair would not, as advertised, be provided. However York Stays managed to provide one- a real life saver for the 8 month old

Lovely stay in York!

The apartment is fabulous! It is small but very confortable and so chic! It had everything we were looking for: well equiped, very clean, two full nice bathroom, very very well situated close to everything you want to see, a nice balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a good drink at the end of the day, a relaxing view of the river, plenty of natural luminosity! Wow!

Convenient comfortable modern apartment near York centre

We enjoyed our short stay in this comfortable modern apartment which was in an excellent location for exploring the delights of York. We appreciated the option of twin beds which are very difficult to find. On arrival the concierge of the building was very helpful and supported us in trying to access the secure car park. The lifts in the building made access to the apartment easy. The apartment was very quiet at night and overlooked the river. There was plenty of storage for the baggage we took and the main shower was warm and easy to use. We ate out at some excellent restaurants and cafe's each day, which were a short walking distance from the apartment. There were a number of small supermarkets near the apartment which was convenient for provisions. We only had a couple of small issues: the double bed was perhaps a little firm, not as comfortable as the twins. The drawers in the bedrooms were a little stiff and hard to open with the small handles.

3 Days in York

From our initial enquiry and booking and then some queries regarding the apartment Stays customer service was excellent. The information provided on accessing the apartment block and car park was concise. The Ebor apartment was very nice, well presented and plenty of room. Comfortable beds, modern kitchen and spacious lounge area. The lifts on our first day were out of order, which could have been a disaster for us as I am a wheelchair user but the availability of the service lift saved the day! Although the main lifts had been repaired by mid morning the following day. The apartment are close to the city centre and near to many bars and restaurants. My only suggestion is that a ramp be fitted at the front entrance to enable wheelchair users or people with limited mobility easier access to the front of the building. Other than that the Ebor apartment is in a good location and is a great place to stay.

Excellent stay

The apartment is very centrally located with every amenity catered for. Excellent standard of fixtures and fittings with easy to follow instructions for entry/exit. The small bathroom/shower room could benefit from having some shelving or place to put toiletries/make up as the sink is for a cloakroom with not much space to cater for anything more than a toothbrush. But this was a minor issue which didn’t distract from the overall positivity of our stay.

Lovely apartment

We had a fantastic time, the apartment was beautiful and felt like home immediately. The box of treats was very welcome, thank you. My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and can't wait to book again. Lovely apartment, in Town with parking, just what we wanted

Great Apartment

We stayed here for 6 days as we needed to change from the original apartment we had booked. The apartment is very clean, very modern and comfortable although the beds were very firm! The view is limited but it’s nice to sit on the balcony and watch the geese and swans go by. Location is great, only 5 mins from the main town centre and yet quiet, there’s a lift if you want to use it and the concierge is very helpful. There’s a Tesco, Sainsbury and Co-op all with 7 mins walk so essentials are easy to find and they are all open late. There’s a parking space but we didn’t use it and used public transport to get around. All the local attractions are worth a visit e.g. the Jorvik Centre, the Railway Museum (if that interest you), a walk around the wall, York Minster, The Clifford Tower and, of course, there’s shopping! We also took a train to Knaresborough for the day which took 30 mins by train and is a lovely place to potter around. There’s lots of places to eat - The Chopping Board - French, Il Paradiso Del Cibo - a family run Italian, both of these are 5 mins from the apartment and excellent. Another great restaurant is the Yak and Yeti restaurant in the city centre - Nepalese and a Sunday roast at The Botanist in the centre of York, both of these were excellent too although you will need to book all restaurants in advance especially at weekends. We very much enjoyed our stay in this great apartment which we would recommend.

Nice apartment

Beautiful apartment in excellent location. A few minor issues: - There should be a tray in the guest shower to put toiletries for showering - A bigger bed could be considered for the guest room - this is too small for 2 grown adults - Consider thicker curtains for the living area as the sun shines directly into it and makes it extremely glaring in the afternoons
