It is a great location and we had fun with the themes and decor for each condo, themed after the building's original occupant, The TIMES - PICAYUNE Newspaper. I know, right?! That gallery size balcony is a great spot to overlook Camp St., people watch, enjoy coffee in the morning or adult beverages for your own happy hour any time of the day. With a king bed in each of the bedrooms, two baths, there is most definitely plenty of room for 2 couples- family, friends, neighbors even co-workers here for work or convention. We are the perfect location to all of the attractions of New Orleans, from the WWII Museum, to Harrah's' Casino, to the French Quarter, Jackson Square, RiverWalk and The Natchez Steamboat for a Jazz Brunch, lunch or dinner Cruise. It is such a super cool building and we tried to decorate with as much of the old newspapers and themed décor as we could, paying homage to the original occupant, the "Times Picayune Newspaper" by naming each condo after a different section of the paper. With the uniqueness of this gallery balcony overlooking Camp Street, it can be quite relaxing to have coffee in the mornings or cocktails in the evening as you people watch. It has to be the perfect location in New Orleans, otherwise the newspaper would not have built here in the early 1880's. Glad you liked the accommodations, as so many vacation rentals are small and cramped, or you have to squeeze in a hotel room with no room to move around the bed. A great place with 2 king beds / 2 full bathrooms is the best option for traveling with couples or 4 friends. We try very hard to make them feel like your "home away from home" from the authentic framed newspaper pages and articles, to the photos, to the décor, all associated with the historic nature and original occupant of the building "The Times-Picayune Newspaper". It's great to have all the original exposed brick, original floor to ceiling windows, and that gallery size balcony which overlooks Camp Street, is truly amazing enough that you feel like you should be out there shouting the news to everyone, hence the name of this condo is "Front Page News"! Maybe what we should be shouting that this condo has all the modern day conveniences with the furnishings, solid wood cabinetry, granite counters, stainless appliances, front loading washer and dryer, with a king bed in each of the two bedrooms and is great for couples to share or family in that not everyone has to share one bathroom.
