I know, right?! That gallery size balcony is a great spot to overlook Camp St., people watch, enjoy coffee in the morning or adult beverages for your own happy hour any time of the day. With a king bed in each of the bedrooms, two baths, there is most definitely plenty of room for 2 couples- family, friends, neighbors even co-workers here for work or convention. We are the perfect location to all of the attractions of New Orleans, from the WWII Museum, to Harrah's' Casino, to the French Quarter, Jackson Square, RiverWalk and The Natchez Steamboat for a Jazz Brunch, lunch or dinner Cruise. Yep, it is hot as ---- in the summer, but at least our nightly rates are lowest of the year. Danielle, elated that you had a great stay! This location is the best, I know, right?! My closets at home are jealous of those closets and the kitchen, enough room for two to cook in, but who wants to cook in the condo when there are world famous restaurants and any food imaginable steps from the door. That size balcony, a gallery, is a rarity in the downtown area. You have to head out to Garden District to find balconies that large. It is a favorite space of mine to have coffee and beignets in the morning, or adult beverages in the afternoon or evenings while people watching and just enjoying the city; sights & sounds, with an occasional flavorful food smell wafting by from the many eateries so close. Give us a call when you are ready to come back. Make your plans early, this condo is hard to find an opening in, it is the crowd favorite. VacayNOLA!

Did you shout that from the gallery size balcony while you were here? The Picayune Building has just that, a great vibe about it with all the history archived within the original Times Picayune Newspaper housed there for almost 100 years. It was a long, trying, renovation of the building, but so well worth the 4 years of revitalizing such an important beacon of New Orleans and the surrounding communities. A few of the furnishings were found in the building and used as inspiration for the "themed" condo names of each unit. How could this condo NOT be named "Front Page News"? Yes, those framed pages from the various years of the newspaper were found as well as our favorite picture of one of the news boys, was a grandfather of one of our guests, and let us know when they came to New Orleans to visit the WWII Museum a couple of years ago. The original exposed brick mixed in with the stainless appliances, granite counter tops and local narrow pine floors is true to the eclectic mix of everything and everybody in New Orleans.
