As a group of friends we had a fantastic stay. The house has everything you need and we loved the decor. Very well located for the beach and the town. We hope to be back again.

This is a lovely place to stay, the house is charming and in a great location just 5 minutes from the beach and town. We were staying there during the recent water shortage and the host was easy to contact, quick to reply and keep us updated. Would thoroughly recommend, the neighbours were lovely too!!

Perfect house and perfect location

Our stay was perfect. The house is big, well decorated and with everything you need for the holidays. The location was also perfect. Quiet street but only 5 minutes walk from the sea and the shops.

Fabulous Flamingo House

a real home from home. Close to the beach and high street, cosy and lovely. We didn’t have young kids with us but loads of toys and books for them, our dog was comfy too! Can’t recommend highly enough

Perfect Summer Holiday Break

We had a fabulous weeks stay at Flamingo House - the location is perfect, especially for taking younger members of the group to the beach first thing. All rooms immaculate and spacious and we would love to come back at some point in the near future

Fantastic Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Flamingo House! It felt like a home away from home, perfect for our family with plenty of toys for the kids and a great layout. The location is ideal, just a short walk to both the beach and the high street. The house was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and even our dog felt welcome. We’d definitely come back!

Very mixed

1. Good points * Location excellent. The High St 5 minute walk one way and the beach 5 minute walk the other way * Well equipped and pleasant kitchen/diner. The small seating area just outside the kitchen doors was ideal for the good weather we enjoyed 2. Not so good * We visited at the end of August and perhaps suffered because it was the end of the season because we found the property tired and scuffed in places, i.e., plants in the garden were over grown and needed trimming, door hinges needed oiling, some paint work needed touching up and generally we thought the place needed a deep clean 3. Bad * On two days of our seven day stay, there was a strong smell of gas in the bedroom and shower room overlooking the ground floor gas boiler outlet. The agents advised this was a known problem and said the property had been inspected and declared safe some weeks previously. They refused a further inspection and recommended leaving windows shut until the wind direction changed. Sorry, we were not reassured. 4. Conclusion * Property, overall, a decent option if you are prepared to take your chances on the smell of gas, although we did feel it was somewhat overpriced. We hope all readers will feel this is a balanced and fair review

Lovely stay at the Flamingo House

Loved our stay there! We were two families, 4 adults, 3 toddlers and a dog and everyone had a great time. Parking is a little tricky, with cars lining either side of a narrow road, and would have been nicer if the lawn had been mowed for us! But those are the only downsides - the location is fabulous just 5 min walk from the beach and there’s a kids playground and dog field even closer. Thank you!
