A very well presented and newly furnished one bedroom apartment just a short walk from the heart of the city centre.

This first floor property benefits from an allocated parking space on site which is perfect for a city centre property.

Internally the property is very nicely presented, with a well-equipped kitchen living area. With a sofa for two, which is also a bed settee if needed, a smart TV, dining table set in front of the window, perfect for watching the world pass by and a well equipped kitchen, you are all set!.

In the bedroom there is a double bed to snuggle into and a lovely, fully tiled ensuite with walk in shower.

It's the ideal spot for a short break away or whilst in the city on business.

Weekend trip to York

Brilliant location being so close to the centre of York, easily able to walk everywhere. Cosy, well presented flat perfect for our weekend stay. Other reviews comment on road noise, it is next to the main road but I didn’t really notice the noise - unless police/ambulance sirens going by - whilst watching TV and didn’t disturb my sleep. Can’t fault this property. Had to have a look round to find the door initially as it’s not directly next to the parking space but was easy enough to locate. Overall, would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future :)

Nice but compact.

Nice and clean apartment. The only downside is the bedroom is very small and not waking anyone difficult if the toilet is needed during the night.

Spectacular stay!

I absolutely loved staying at Fishergate. The room was so cozy, its close to several main roads and so many shows, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The room was fresh, many amenities and other home comforts provided. I didn't want to leave. I'd be absolutely happy to stay again!

Good Location to the City of York

Property was very centrally located. Parking space was brilliant. Downside was on a busy road into York which was a little noisy.

Lovely little flat and good location

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the shops and city centre. Small place but ideal for 2 people. Had everything you needed. Only negative is it is right next to a main road so unless you are an early riser expect to be woken early. We knew this when we booked so can't really complain. Parking is easy and large space.

Visit to the Minster

Pretty good location, just a short stroll into the City. Parking was a great plus. Very clean and well provided, but the sofa was uncomfortable and it was very tight getting round the bed but overall just what we needed for a short break. Thanks

Great location but cramped bedroom

Great location for the apartment with a parking space nearby. Bedroom very cramped- you are unable to walk round the bed so need to climb over to get into bed or open the blinds. Not great for accessing the en-suite if sleeping on the far side of the bed or have any mobility issues. Bed needs a mattress protector. The apartment is on a main road, so noisy at night with traffic and pedestrians- take good earplugs. Dish washer tablets were supplied but unfortunately no dish washer! Washing up liquid would be more appropriate. I would only recommend this property purely for it's location and parking.

Very bijou!!

The property was not quite as anticipated, it was a bit tricky to find, some very kind people helped us locate it. Car parking was easy to find though. Once we were up the stairs and opened the door to the property we were struck by how tiny it was. In the bedroom you couldn’t get around the bottom of the bed, not something you see in the photos! My husband’s feet were constantly touching the wall. The sofa in the lounge was extremely uncomfortable. It’s situation although great for walking into the centre is on a very busy road, that is busy all the time so it’s very noisy!!! Not one we’d choose again. It was clean and quite well kitted out.
