ALOE villa is a luxurious newly built according to the traditional design villa, with its private entrance, pool and garden, available for LONG-TERM renting, too. No words can describe the unique healthy micro-climate and the pleasant atmosphere in villa ALOE. It has 3 bedrooms that sleeps up to 8 persons. The first floor consists of 2 A/C bedrooms, the main bathroom with bathhub and a veranda with pergola and glorious views of the North Cretan coast, the 'White Mountains' and the sunset .
The ground floor consists of the 3rd bedroom, the 2nd bathroom with shower, the spacious living room, the open kitchen with the dining area and all the amenities.The living room opens to the beautiful lawn garden with various trees and blossomed flowers, the private pool, sunbeds, umbrellas, an outdoor dining area, an outdoor shower and BBQ. There is a parking space for 2 cars in the plot and free parking in front of the property.

ALOE is located in the west end of the traditional Prines village, 6 km only from Rethymno town and 2,5 km from the nearest beach.
You will enjoy the privacy and the calmness of the area, while you are staying only 400 m from the center of the village where you can find everything you may need (shops, restaurants, cafe and a pharmacy).

The central heating, the fireplace, the Internet access, the free Wi-Fi, the satellite TV, the DVD, and the wardrobes in combination with the warm and healthy climate create an ideal environment for somebody to live in during the autumn-winter by long-term hiring in special price relaxing or working on line.
ALOE is ideal for Digital Nomads, Retired people, couples, families with children of all ages and groups, available all the year round.

Mooi en groot vakantiehuis met zwembad.zeer rustig en wat afgelegen.auto nodig .

Zeer goede en uitgebreide uitleg gekregen waar restaurants en fijne plaatsen te bekijken waren . Ruim huis maar jammer dat de sanitaire voorzieningen niet helemaal in orde waren.Douchebak gelijkvloers te klein en geen douchekophouder en extra spatwand om water op te vangen. 2de badkamer mag douchekop dringend ontkalkt worden en er was amper druk op het water maar hier is weinig aan te doen, denk ik. Er waren meer dan voldoende handdoeken aanwezig. Goede bedden. Klein afwasmachine aanwezig.

Hjælpsom udlejer

Dejligt hus med skøn pool og stor tagterrasse. Udlejer/hjælper var meget søde og hjælpsomme. Huset har to udlejnings-nabohuse tæt på, så der kan være nabostøj. Gode restauranter i gåafstand i Prines og gode strande ikke så langt fra huset.

Very nice house close to Rethymnon

We really enjoy our stay in Aloe villa located in a quiet area with a very nice view on the sea from the upper terrace and a lovely garden. The pool was perfect for our children (and for us too). The house was also very clean. We would recommend this place to our friends. KInds regards

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and Thei’s recommendations for Beach and Tavernas were spot on. We all loved Rethymnon. Everybody very friendly and helpful. Kostis and his wife were always available and helpful. Cannot praise the family enough who owned and ran the Veranta Taverna and we will miss eating there as we did most nights. The villa was spotlessly clean and comfortable but considering it was advertised for 6-8 persons it was somewhat lacking. Only 5 outside chairs for eating at the patio table (and these had to be brought down from upstairs)and only 6 mugs. The downstairs bedroom did not have air conditioning and the fan was too noisy to use. A little bit of TLC needed! Will certainly go back to the area but would look for a different villa. Thank Thei for all her help and directions. Brian and family (5).

Beautiful Villa, lovely host, amazing holiday

Thank you Thei and kostis for helping to make our holiday so enjoyable. Aloe is a very pretty Vila and we were very comfortable there. We all enjoyed the pool, it is lovely and private. We slept so well because it is a peaceful location. Thei's recommendation regarding where to visit and where to eat were spot on. And as the owner and host she is outstanding, kind and friendly!!!! Crete is a very beautiful island with so much to see and do and the people are so friendly. We would recommend Aloe villa wholeheartedly! Thank you Thei.

Excellent stay. Clear directions, found the house easily. Useful tips from Thei re; local beaches, restaurants ,grocery stores Very well maintained, clean and spacious. A good size pool. AC working well. Kostis was very helpful and easily available. Overall very happy and highly recommend.

Beautiful and practical holiday rental!

Thei was such an amazing hostess. We did not get to meet her but her helper kostis took care of all of our needs. She left us a helpful list of things to do too. The house and property are truly beautiful and child friendly. Our kids, 7 5 and 2 years old were right at home. The location was very central for reaching most things on Crete and super close to rethmynon. We loved it! No complaints.

Confortable villa in a convenient location

We really enjoyed Aloe Villa. Set in a wonderful location neither too close nor too far from the city of Rethymnon it is an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway.We really liked the view from the balcony and the flowery gardens that create a sense of privacy and tranquility. The pool was also crystal-clear and in general the villa is very cozy. We spent an exquisite holiday, I would definitely recommend it.

Very nice villa close to everything you need

We stayed some wonderful days in this quiet place watching the time go by. Complete inventory, very clean and everything works properly. Lots of space for the two of us. We even 'forgot' the telly and enjoyed the kalmth. Good restaurants at short walking distancy, butcher around tehe corner, mini market nearby. Perfect location for us to explore the Rethimno area including its south. Nice contact with the owner and Kostis. Definitely recommendable!

Amazing holiday

We are more than satisfied with everything regarding our holiday in Aloe Villa! The Villa is well equipped and truly beautiful. Its location would be described as the most suitable, in a gorgeous neighbourhood near other villas. The centre of the village, restaurants and bus stations are easily accessible on foot. We were stunned by the beauty of the amazing colours and unforgettable aromas of the garden, as well as the majesty of the view. Thei, the owner, was a very warm and helpful person and we definitely plan to book the villa next year for our vacation in Crete. We highly recommend a vacation in Aloe Villa!!! Marily V.

Hi, I'm Thei! I've born in Crete and I'm mother of two boys. I've studied Law and Social Anthropology in the University of Athens. I'm an optimist person. I love the nature, the children, cycling, gardening, reading books, listening to jazz, rock and Latin American music, watching good movies, swimming, sailing, hiking, bird-watching, doing meditation, travelling, making new friends. I love Crete island and I want to share this love with my guests.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This area (Prines village) was the place of the family of my grandmother until she married the doctor of the prefecture (my grandpa) and mooved to another village of the area. During all my childhood I was coming for the holidays in this area and later, when I was working as a lawyer in Athens, I studied in the University for a while social anthropology and I had the chance to study a very interesting subject about the inhabitans of Crete. I love Crete and I would like to share this love with my guests in ALOE villa. Also, ALOE villa is situated in the most beautiful and convenient place of Prines village, in a neighborhood with oak trees and nice houses. Our guests will enjoy walking in the area, jogging, cycling, having their lunch and dinner in the 3 very nice restaurants in the village or in the villages around ALOE villa, bird-watching, swimming in the Cretan sea with sandy beach, snorkeling, shopping in the afternoon in the picturesque, historical Rethymno city , walking the long promenade near the sea, having unforgettable dinner in Old Harbor area in front of the old lighthouse or visiting the Fortezza Castle in the sunset, exploring the famous gorges of the area , visiting the very interesting paleontological museum, studying in the calmness of the pleasant library of the University of Crete ( 2.5 km from ALOE villa-the way to the University is fantastic and working in it's sunny library is a pleasant experience), visiting the archaeological and historical places of the area (the ancient Minoan cemetery of Armeni-6 km from ALOE) and the other innumerable activities in the nature. There is a supermarket in 350 m from ALOE, 2 bigger supermarkets with everything you may need in 1000m from ALOE, pharmacy in 400 m distance, butcher shp and petrol station in 200m from the villa. The beach is 2,5 km and Rethymno town in 5km (5' driving).
