Etoile de Mer está rodeado de palmeras en un acre de tierra en Sunset Bay una de las playas más bonitas de las islas y conocida por su privacidad. Personalizado diseñado para atrapar las brisas sotavento que suavemente waft a través de la casa, Etoile de Mer se siente más como una casa encantadora, no un alquiler. Divida su tiempo entre la playa, a pocos pasos, y la gran piscina de agua dulce, gazebo y terraza en Etoile. Las suaves mareas de Sunset Bay ofrecen la oportunidad de nadar, nadar, bucear o hacer kayak. Las finas arenas blancas le piden a dar largos paseos o sentarse y ver la puesta de sol.

Esta villa de vacaciones tiene tres pisos: la planta baja es un apartamento independiente con su propia entrada exterior (así como una escalera interior al nivel superior), sala de estar, dormitorio y baño completo.

Amazing House and Location

My family (7 Adults) stayed in this beautiful house for 1 week. The house was beautiful and spotless. The house comes with everything you'll need to have a great vacation. The location is amazing, 2 minutes away from Taylor Bay Beach. We also enjoyed the access to the tennis courts. Our host was extremely helpful and would answer any questions we had within minutes. We will definitely be returning!

Paradise on Earth

This is my third visit to the lovely island of Turks and Caicos. Etoile is everything we wanted it to be for a girls 60th birthday celebration. Spacious - close to the beach - peaceful and how glorious is Taylor Beach! Julian and his team were amazing and responsive. We will be back to heaven on earth.

Wonderful Stay

We had such a wonderful time staying in this home! Julian was extremely responsive, the most responsive house manager we have ever had in our years of traveling with VRBO. The home was a quick 2 minute walk (even with small children) to the beach and we were told by several visitors to the beach that ours was the best! The area was secluded and quiet. There were several extras that the home had like pool accessories, paddle boards, life jackets, and nice beach chairs that made this home more unique than others. Thanks for the great stay!

2 Week Getaway with friends

Everything was great! Some of the best beaches we have ever been to. Great restaurants, recommend taking a boat tour. Only complaint was new house construction next door and mosquitos around the pool but owners can not control that. Julian was the manager of our house and did a excellent job making sure our every need was taken care of. Thank you Julian !

great place

we rented this house for a three generation family holiday, and it worked out beautifully. it’s in a secluded area away from the tourist/resort area of grace bay. a very short walk to a private beach that was very shallow for a long distance, prefect for our granddaughters. tennis courts right there. it’s 15 minutes to most of the restaurants. kitchen is well appointed. no complaints!

Our stay at this beautiful home in Turks and Caicos was nothing short of magical! We came to celebrate several special milestones—our son’s engagement on the beach, a babymoon for our other son and daughter-in-law, and our twin sons’ 29th birthdays. It was the perfect setting for such meaningful moments.The house was everything we expected and more—immaculately clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, and thoughtfully laid out. The gathering spaces were lovely, both indoors and out, allowing us to enjoy time together while soaking in the island’s beauty. Beautiful house and excellent location near Taylor Bay Beach

Beautiful, well-equipped house, decking, pool and grounds, with nice touches of flowers throughout the house upon our arrival. Cleanest grill I've ever seen in a vacation house! Good provision of pool and beach floats, umbrellas, chairs, etc. Especially nice to have child size flotation devices to use with kayaks. The 2nd refrigerator/freezer in downstairs living area came in very handy as kitchen refrigerator freezer did not have working icemaker and didn't freeze water in ice trays. Julian was very responsive to ice situation, as well as to issues with downstairs air conditioner control and dishwasher, resolving these very quickly! The cleaning service mid-week was also excellent. The humidity was very high during our late July/early August stay, thus kitchen, dining and living rooms hot, so we used the bedroom air conditioners at a reasonable extra expense. Etoile de Mer was an excellent choice for our family vacation, which included 2 children, ages 2 and 4!

A beautiful property and peaceful location

The property is well kept and spacious both inside and out, and had many water sport amenities available for use (including sand toys, floats, life vests, paddle boards and kayaks). Plenty of seating everywhere. Our group took advantage of the tennis courts in the neighborhood. A great location with a very short walk to Taylor Bay beach! Very responsive management team, all of our requests were promptly attended to. The children loved the pool! The location is secluded and quiet, but we felt safe there. My only constructive feedback is related to air conditioning. The VRBO listing should be updated to include the fact that air conditioning is metered and charged based on usage, as that was not disclosed in the listing. It was a modest amount but an additional expense nonetheless. The a/c unit in the lower level does not have enough capacity to cool the expansive space and it was not comfortable to sleep in. It would be great to have a small separate unit for the bedroom for comfort and to conserve energy.

Husband’s 40th Birthday

This home was amazing! I cannot put into words how much fun and relaxation we had staying here. Julian was very kind in helping us with everything we needed and seen to it that he was available for us at anytime. The home was clean and the breeze that the home gets from every angle leaves you not needing the Air conditioner at all. There were starting supplies so that we didn’t need much to buy except our own personal essentials if needed. The pool is kept clean and the security of the home makes you feel safe. This is a home that I will definitely be returning to again.

Property is as advertised. Pool is smaller than the pictures make it look (great photography there) but not an issue. Excellent beach is 2 minutes walk away, another spectacular beach (sapodilla) is 3 mins car drive away. Property manager is very responsive. Excellent all around.

Beautiful property in a perfect location

This is a fantastic property at a perfect location. It’s just a very short 1 minute walk to a beach with shallow, calm, warm water that almost feels private. We easily brought kayaks and SUP’s down to the beach with no trouble at all. The property truly has everything you could need. It was well stocked with kitchen items, toiletries, snorkelling equipment, kayaks, paddle boards, sand toys for children. bottled water and two cribs. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the house felt very safe. The house was very spacious and we were very comfortable as a group of 7 vacationing together. The island is small enough that the location was very accessible to everything with a car rental. Without a rental, you could easily visit the beach every day, enjoy the house, and walk to Sapodilla Bay or Las Brisas if you are comfortable walking on the road (there are no sidewalks). Property management was very responsive and helpful which was much appreciated.

We love Turks!

We had an absolutely fantastic vacation. The kitchen is well stocked so we were able to cook at home and stay in. There was a high chair for us to use and the crib we forgot to ask about (and messaged the night before to request) was waiting for us at checkin. There’s a large dining room table that was great for family meals. They supply umbrellas and beach chairs and the walk to the beach was even shorter than we thought (3 minutes max). The beach is fantastic for kids. It’s shallow and crystal clear. The adults were able to walk to the other side if they wanted deeper water to swim. We had a few questions while we were on site and they were answered immediately. Thank you!

It was perfect in every way!

We traveled here with ages 2-70. The property was perfect and beach was amazing. I actually have nothing bad to say. We found a amazing restaurant down the street with Wonderful food, another pool and water activities of the Chalk sound. We would return to this property in a heart beat! It was a perfect way to unwind and relax with family. Thank you for an amazing trip!

Wonderful family vacation

Our stay at Etoile de Mer was wonderful! It's in a quiet neighborhood with a security guard who is always patrolling. Julian at Island Escapes was very helpful and showed us everything about the house once we first arrived. He even helped us locate someone to rent jetskis from one day :) It was nice having cleaning service mid way through our stay. The pool guys came and cleaned the pool as well once during our 7 days. The walk from the villa to the beach isn't long at all. We had my 68 and 66 year parents with us and 2 kids ages 11 and 10 and no one had any issues with the walk. Taking the kayaks definitely wasn't easy and the rollers the villa provided we couldn't figure out how to use them so we carried one down. That was the first and last day we brought the kayak to the beach. The villa had tons of beach chairs and pool toys to keep my kids entertained. Taylor Bay is a quiet beach and beautiful beach. The waves are minimal and I think we walked almost half a mile before the water was over our waist. It was perfect for our kids and my parents. The villa (including the kitchen) was well equipped with everything we might have needed. We cooked breakfast and lunch at the villa almost every day. Dinners we ate out and like others said there aren't many options close to the villa. Las Brisas we ate at 3 times and the food didn't disappoint. Be sure to order the red snapper coconut crusted tacos :) I have dreamed about those tacos since our return home. The A/C is metered which is detailed in the property listing. We weren't aware it was limited to the bedrooms only. My husband was a bit disappointed it wasn't whole house A/C because after being outside at the beach all day in the sun he wanted a cool house to relax in. Like others have said the breeze around the island and that comes into the house is nice! There was a shower in the downstairs bedroom to the right of the living room where the water wouldn't stop dripping. The floor in the bathroom was always wet so we had to put towels on the floor to keep from slipping. Might be something worth checking out. Another vote for Omnicare Medical to do your COVID tests to return to the US. We booked them in advance before our trip and they came to the villa. We got the final certificates for clearance to return to US in less than 24 hrs. We loved our stay at Etoile de Mer and TCI and hope to be back again soon!

Relaxing getaway near the beach

The house was wonderful. Truly a fully stocked kitchen. We cooked at the house most days And had everything we needed to make our meals. The staff were very responsive to all of our questions and requests. We loved spending time outdoors in the shade by the pool. We went to the beach during the day and for multiple sunsets. It’s less than a five minute walk from the house… There are also tennis courts that you can use and the house has rackets. We went to Las Brisas nearby on chalk sound for lunch - get the coconut fish tacos! The only downside is not being directly on the water, but as for close proximity to the beach this was absolutely perfect.

Perfect For relaxing in paradise

Our stay at Villa Etoille was wonderful. Taylor Bay beach is a small, calm cove that was uncrowded and stunningly beautiful. It was a short 5 minute walk (though I will agree with other reviewers that the kayak/paddle boards were a pain to haul out there.) The water was perfect for our 2 year old to wade around in his life jacket without him being knocked down. We saw sea turtles, rays, and starfish in the crystal clear water. The layout of the house is spacious, with lots of living space. The porch space was amazing- lots of outdoor living. It was a great house for our family to reconnect- we had 6 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen is very well stocked- we cooked several nights. We did not use the AC during our stay as the screened windows provided an amazing breeze through the house. The pool and gazebo were lovely- the kids loved to swim while the grown ups got to relax. And the porch also provides some great lizard watching for the kids. There are only a few options for restaurants nearby- We ate at Las Brisas which is a very short drive, as well as Omar’s which is about 15 minutes away. We had good experiences at both restaurants. The rental company was easy to communicate with, though we had no problems. We used Omnicare Medical for our Covid testing- they came to the villa to do testing and returned with hard copies for our travel. I would highly recommend using them if you travel during these crazy times. I would also note that everyone on the island was very conscientious about Covid- masks were required everywhere. We felt very safe.

Great family holiday

Really good value. House was in a great location and worked really well for our 2 families sharing with kids. Great layout and plenty of space. Loved the outdoor pool and lounging area with good access to a quiet, shallow beach good for kids. The kitchen was well appointed with all the necessary cooking, baking and kitchenware. We used the outdoor grill a few times as well. We used the kayak but it was a challenge carrying back and forth the beach. Would recommend a small pull cart to transport kayak and SUP to the beach for the kids or 1 adult to use. The property management was very responsive and was great with check-in/out. Thank you for a great stay!

Paradise!

A group of 8 adults just left this fabulous home and have nothing but fabulous things to say about etoile de mer. So much space to spread out. Fabulous kitchen that was well stocked. Beautiful grounds and pool. Short walk to a fabulous, calm, shallow and non-crowded beach. We loved everything about our stay here and hope to come back next February.

Wonderful home. Beautiful pool, private and close to the beach!

This house is a gem. It has a gorgeous outside living space with pool and gazebo where my family had afternoon drinks on rafts! Short walk to the great uncrowded Beach of Taylor Bay. The house accommodated 6 adults with so much space and privacy for all. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and this house was so good for familiy gatherings in the living room and screened-in porch and outside by the pool. We loved the cleanliness and availability of house management if we had any questions. We rented a car and explored Grace Bay and other areas of the Island. But it was nice to come back to our quiet side of Paradise. Thanks for a great and memorable stay. We LOVED it.

Idyllic Villa

This was really a lovely villa. We had four couples, my husband and I, and our three children and their spouses, along with my toddler-grandson. Each family had its own bed/bath suite, which were all beautifully decorated. The common living areas were charming and there was plenty of space to spread apart when we needed to. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped for a rental. We ate most of our meals at the villa, so it was particularly nice that we had a spacious kitchen to work in. The oven did not function at all, but we had the use of a barbecue and the stove top, which were more than adequate. Maid-service mid-week helped us keep the place tidy and clean. And we loved the large square dining room table, with two to a side, so that everyone was involved in conversations equally. The pool outside was a very attractive feature, so we chose that sometimes instead of going to the beach or going elsewhere. Honestly, the only issue I had was that Turks and Caicos is a very expensive venue. Eating out was prohibitive, which encouraged us to find the groceries and fish sellers. And we bought liquor duty free on our way in. We rented cars so we got to know the island, but as I said, for the most part we stayed close to home, other than snorkeling on a couple different beaches. I do recommend this location. The managers were very kind. They accommodated a request for a crib, we found a high chair in the unit, and there were lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and towels to make us feel comfortable and at home. And I shouldn't forget to mention a washer and dryer which help a lot with that many people. I highly recommend this villa for anyone who wants a week in a charming get-away.
