Excellent pet friendly wonderful beach front rental. Beautiful views, nice clean sandy beach and water. Management very friendly and efficient! Rental well stocked. Will definately rent again and highly recommend for traveling with your pet(s)

The location was perfect. The amenities were slightly lacking, no shower soap, shampoo etc. No hair dryer but when asked about the hair dryer the host immediately acquired one for our use. We had already gone out and purchased shower amenities. No beach chairs but plenty of beach towels. It was an excellent location and very clean. I would hav come more prepared had I known the shower amenities were not provided.

Beach Life at its Best

The property is across the board walk from the beach, so couldn't be easier to enjoy the huge sands and ocean. The home itself has a terrific view with the beach side wall being all glass, with a glassed in balcony. Everything you need contained within, high beamed ceiling, comfy seating, and a fully contained kitchen. Our four footed family loved the walks on the beach before 10 and after 4:30. The Board Walk an entertainment with babies in carriages, youngsters and adults on scooters and bicycles, sweethearts walking hand in hand. We enjoyed a five minute walk to restaurants and shops, and often cheery greetings from passing strangers. Highly recommend this property. TRUE is great, and answered questions quickly and with charming attitude. A wonderful vacation.

This house is riding on the location, which is great, but the house itself is not good. The carpets are absolutely riddled with stains. House lacks basic items: we had to purchase dish soap (they had dishwasher pods but only 7 forks so we had to wash dishes in the sink often), shampoo etc., a sponge and toilet paper (they do provide one roll - not enough for the number of people the house accommodates). Everything is rusted which I get happens at the beach but they shouldn’t advertise the house as “upgraded.” The house has no beach chairs! Bring or buy your own. The TV is the size of a large computer screen. The sheets and linens do not feel good at all. The hand soap was refilled with axe body wash. Bottom line - if all you care about is location then this would be fine. If you want the house to feel like a vacation or have any basic amenities, then do not book this property. It’s also worth noting that the balcony is teeny tiny and has no seating. Bed were very uncomfortable. Two stars for the location.

Great week at the beach

This property was great and as described. We loved the location - close the pier, restaurants, grocery store. The rooms were good size and the bathrooms and kitchen were updated. I loved having a washer and dryer too. Would totally recommend.

Had to drag my husband away...he didn't want to leave!

We will never go back to renting anything other than an oceanfront property in the future. This home was perfect for the six of us (2 adults, 4 teenagers) for a week at the beach. Loved the energy of all the people passing by below, and the proximity to Newport Beach Pier and Huntington Beach was ideal. And the view...just perfect! The home was as described. Plenty of room for all of us and made for a super comfortable stay. We knew we had to bring our own linens and stock up on tp/paper towels, but I was a bit surprised to learn there weren't any dishwasher tablets or trash bags supplied, even for a single use. The store is so close, though, so we just picked some of those things up on our shopping trip. No problem as we took them home and will use them here. =) Given the proximity to the ocean and the amount of salt in the air at all times, I understand the rust on much of the metal bits in the house. That's just a given and didn't affect us at all. May want to consider changing out the shower liner in the first bathroom as it has seen better days, as well as replace some of the pillows on the shelves in the closets. Again, didn't affect our enjoyment or stay at all as we brought our own pillows, but it's just a suggestion to improve the visual appeal. =) The management was phenomenal! So friendly upon picking up the keys on Friday afternoon, and super responsive when I emailed them about an issue with a piece of furniture. They called promptly the next morning and sent their handyman out to repair it. Just awesome and very much appreciated, thank you! Will definitely consider this particular property again in the future! If it's not available, I would look for anything in the area managed by Balboa Newport Realty.
