A good property for Ocean City, but that doesn't mean much. The lack of amenities offered to renters in this town is shocking - bringing linens, paper supplies and other staples adds a whole dimension to trip preparation. On top of that, not only is this place more expensive than our last rental in downtown Rome, the 75 parking fee surprise really set things off on the wrong foot.The condo itself is beautiful, with a sliver of an ocean view and a huge couch. But the level of filth on the balcony made it unusable, not to mention the broken chairs. A large number of power outlets were broken, and a doorknob was wedged in place and fell off with a tap.If you have to be in OC, you can do much worse than this spacious place and its great location. But maybe instead look for a city where the owners provide the toilet paper?

Girls weekend

We had an amazing time in this rental for girls weekend! Perfect location right on the beach and the pool was great. The rental was adorable and perfect for our group of 8.

Very pleasant vacation stay!

We were very happy with our stay at Rick’s condo at The Quay. Rick was very good at communicating with us, and very gracious in meeting some unexpected needs of our stay. The condo was ideal in that the kitchen was large and nicely updated and the family room large and open. Although there were only 4 of us, this condo is also ideal for a larger group as well. Great location, too!!

Girls Weekend

This is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! I came with my best friend and our moms. It’s a pretty big space and has lots of room to comfortably hang out after a long day at the beach! It was also cool to have a view of both the beach and the bay side from the balcony! It was my first time using vrbo and Richard was responsive with all questions that I had prior to our visit, and also made contact right at check -in time with instructions on how to get into the unit! The location is right on the beach and close to anything you need! Overall a very lovely weekend and we hope to be back soon!

Fantastic for girls weekend!

Recently we had a girls trip to OCMD and the convenience of this condo was perfect! Right on the beach, close to local shops, supermarkets, nightlife and restaurants. The condo itself was very clean and spacious for 6 guests. Rick made the check in process very seamless and ensured that we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

Great choice in OC!

Great location, lots of space. This condo was perfect for our family. The space in the living room was great. We were playing cards at the table and the kids were playing on floor and each group had plenty of room. It is twice as big as most units we have rented. Will definitely rent again . Communication was great!

Great location in OC. Close to all the attractions, yet far away from the hustle and bustle of the night scene. Owner is quick to communicate regarding check in process and highly responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Mixed feelings…

-Check in was rough. Security desk unfriendly, and parking was $50, not $40. -Very tough elevator situation on the first floor. Millions of people piling in and waiting for elevators with all of their belongings in shopping carts. Took a very long time to get into an elevator. -Sadly, the unit was not very clean. Previous renters left dishes in the dishwasher, they were unwashed and it stunk. There was no dishwasher detergent. The cleaners clearly didn’t move anything around while cleaning, and there was litter behind dressers. The rugs are quite stained in the bedrooms. -The couch and beds were comfortable, but the extra blankets and pillows were older and worn. We only stayed one night, for a local family party. I will say Richard was very responsive, and receptive to the issues that I contacted him about. Maybe it was an “off” day for the cleaning staff. The location is great, very close to the beach.

Five stars

Richard was wonderful and the place was perfect for our girls weekend. We had the best best time. Appreciated Richard’s hospitality and excellent communication as well! The floors are brand new. Everything was very clean upon arrival. Richard was available over text and phone call for whatever we needed. Super easy check in and check out process. There are 2 bedrooms (each has a queen and a twin), and a 2 queen pullouts. One bedroom has an connecting bathroom and then there is a bathroom in the hall. 6 girlfriends each had their own bed for a very very reasonable price. (And the couch was very clean and comfortable!) The private pool is a huge plus and loved the balcony with a partial beach front view! The location is awesome- right across from a TJMaxx and Food Lion. Waking distance to many bars and restaurants. We definitely found our new yearly rental for our girls trip!

The good: Beach proximity Couches Kitchen/Dining area Beach lovely Little grill in building had great food The bad: Listed as oceanfront but really more partial view. Beds were a little off, need to be rotated. Having to bring your own linens/towels/paper products was a pain. The parking lot is very awkward if you drive a large vehicle and don’t fit through the height restrictions to exit properly. The parking fee was listed as $40 but was $50. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. The carpets were very soiled.

Location Location Location ... This is the place

Just returned from long weekend at this place . Great location on beachfront property. Pools were nice. You are literally on the beach so that access was super easy. Great communication from owner. Two things that came up during our stay were small and did not impact our enjoyment of the weekend but mentioning as a positive as the owner responded almost immediately when we reached out by text message. Would definitely rent this unit again in the future. Thanks !

Quick getaway

We stayed for the night in OC to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, Richard was quick to respond and very helpful with the check in process. The condo was very clean, we only stayed for the night but would definitely return for a longer vacation in the future!

Girls trip

Usually the place that you are staying during a visit is insignificant compared to the reason you are visiting! However, our plans were canceled due to Hurricane Ian, but we decided to travel to OC regardless! The Quay was a great place for relaxing and simply chilling out with friends! Our host made sure to communicate details of the property and getting in to the property also! I would definitely stay at this property again if travels take me to OC!
