This was perfect what what we needed which was basically a place to rest at night. It’s about two miles to down town and we did walk there and back, as well as to the footbridge beach. ( mom 67 aunt 70 and myself 36) it’s a doable walk. We were beat at the end of each day with all the walking we did. Parking is nearly impossible where most things are and also costs. so bring sneakers. The space is modest, nothing fancy. We enjoyed it for the price point.

Was not impressed with the cleanliness of the place. Not really a lot of room to put clothes away. Very outdated kitchen. Dishes and glasses not clean. Needs a good dusting. No hairdryer, but a curling iron? 1/2 hour to get hot water.

Not to standards.The place was clean to VACASA standards. However, even VACASA can't do miracles ...

The beds were ok, the bed sheets and towels are provided by VACASA. One bed sheet was missing and VACASA did take 48 hours to provide a proper bed sheet. the effort was really appreciated.

Cozy but dated

This was perfect for our small family (2 adults, 2 kids) but could use a few upgrades. Fridge was small and really only accommodates a few days (if we were staying more than a few nights it wouldn't have worked for us). The hot water took a really long time to warm up but once it did it was great and pressure was strong. Having the pull out futon in the living area was nice, just strange that theTV wasn't in that room (it is in the bedroom). Wifi worked great and the pool was refreshing! I would stay again.

old motel turned into apartments

reasonably priced, clean , basic accommodations for a beach town. grounds were nicely maintained. meets basic necessities for a vacation or weekend if you plan to spend your time at the beach. not recommended for an extended stay or romantic getaway. low water pressure, ran out of hot water quickly. small shower cannot be used by large people. floor sags so bathroom door wouldnt close and if forced closed had to be forced open. back door wouldnt open at all. wall unit air conditioner kept up if left on constantly. no one in office if assistance required. do not cross thru house/yard in middle of property as it is a privately owned bed and breakfast. and owner does not want folks from motel accessing the yard, etc. this wasnt made clear until owner informed me in no uncertain terms. kitchen well stocked and bed was comfortable but mattress has seen a lot of use. overall experience was good and we'd use this place again. traffic on the road thru town is bumper to bumper all day. dont expect to get anywhere fast. paid parking is at a premium anywhere and best to take the local bus/trolley to get around or walk.

Thank you for your feedback, Mel. The water pressure is believed to be lower when more units are being used during busy season. We do not manage the entire property so the on site office is not staffed. There is a on site property manager but he is not in the office at all times. We will reach out to the owner about the lawn restrictions.

My holiday was spent with family who rented a beach house and my stay at the holiday house was a short bike ride away. It was quaint, clean and provided everything I needed and more.

Clean and Convenient

This condo was perfect for our family beach vacation. The room was spacious with a separated queen bed, and twin and futon in the living room. The room was clean and well appointed, with everything needed for making simple breakfasts and lunches. The local Vacasa staff was quick to respond to requests. The grounds of Holiday House were very clean and well maintained with a mix of renters and residents. The pool was a huge plus for our kids, 5 and 2 years old, and the beach was a medium bike ride away (the 5 yo biked it, while the 2 yo rode on dad’s bike). It’s walking distance to delicious seafood, and a only a short car ride into Ogunquit. There’s a trolley stop next door for those interested. We’d definitely rent here again!

Old motel remodeled into studio apartment met our basic needs but being close to beach is a plus. Room needs work but ok for short term stay. Not desirable for extended stay or romantic getaway.

Not for families with Young children

This is definitely a one-bedroom studio that offers little to no privacy in the rest of the 'room' (Though it gives the impression of a 2-bedroom). The small air conditioner offered little relief to the place, and was very dirty (moldy/mildewy). The back door is sealed shut, so good luck in an emergency. Very small and barely accessorized kitchenette area, not great if you actually cook food to save money on vacation, fine if you intend to just eat out. It rained on half of our stay so we spent way more time in this room than I wanted to. Will not book this place again.
