Beautiful location, 1 mile from the beach with great views. Use of grills and fire pit were a bonus. A little glitch with check in but all resolved quickly. We would stay again.

Love little porch

This is the second time I have stayed at new Harbor View. I need a place where I can bring my cat. It is peaceful, and the host is friendly, and not over bearing. Last year when I needed assistance, they were helpful. I apologize for this year, because when I left a note on the table for them, I forgot to tell them to double check the heater, because it was above my pay grade, and I’m not sure I turned it off properly. Thank you to my hosts. Loved sitting on that little screen porch reading and looking out over the marsh towards the ocean. This is a modest place to stay, and I like the way the host have decorated the space.

Cabin dirty and ceiling leak

The floors very dirty and covered with debris, hair and dust. I had to use the vac to clean the entire place. I also had to wipe down/wash the dirty counters. Every dish or piece of silverware we used had to be washed before use. It was raining and a leak developed over the toilet. I called Stacey, and she said we could move to another cabin. Not possible in the pouring rain. When we were checking out, I sent Stacey pictures of the floors and all the dirt and hair. She apologized, saying that the guests before us had a big hairy dog. She said she had just hired a new housekeeper, and would forward my pictures and concerns to her. I felt like she should have checked the new employee’s work and that management was ultimately responsible. No offer of a future discount or any reduction in our bill. We left the cabin in far better shape than what we encountered when we checked in. In retrospect, I feel that, at the very least, our cleaning fee should be returned as I’m the one who did the cleaning.

My stay

Great location, bedroom, and the screened in porch is amazing. The backyard includes cornhole and a fire pit. Unfortunately the weather was bad and we didn’t get to use the pool. The bathroom is part of the kitchen and doesn’t have a mirror. There is a full length mirror in the bedroom. Good stay overall!

Love this Property!

New Harbor View Cottages is lovely property that is reasonably priced. The owners, Chip & Stacey, go overboard to accommodate guests' requests in a timely manner. The property is conveniently located with restaurants, grocery store, convenience store & drugstore in walking distance -- and it's only 1 mile from Wells Beach!

Wonderful rustic cottage in great location

Can’t beat this cottage. 1930 feel, which we like. Everything we needed was provided. Easy check in process. Great location. Very clean. We will be back!

Cozy & clean!

The little cottage fit all my needs. Walking distance to the beach and a grocery store. Was obvious it had been renovated recently but still had a cozy, old school beach home vibe! loved it and have been recommending it to my friends!

Another great Memorial Day in the books

Just love these cabins and the location. We continue to come back here because of the location, and Chip and Stacy. The cabins are clean, fun, and just adorable. They all have heat, AC, a large TV, the kitchen has all you need. So what if the cabins are small, did you come to Wells to stay inside? No...book one, you will be pleased you did.
