Villa La Selva, exclusively used, is an ancient property (584 sq. m.) for up to 14 persons, with 7 double bedrooms, 5 bathrooms with shower, one dining room and three living rooms. The house dates back to the beginning of the 19th Century and has been perfectly restored and converted into a holiday home. The swimming pool is private and illuminated, and guests will also find a large garden, two furnished loggias, outdoor furniture and a barbecue for outdoor lunches and dinners.

Outdoors and swimming pool
The villa has large open areas and features two large furnished loggias on the ground floor, as well as many green areas between the garden and the pool. The rectangular swimming pool with outdoor shower is 12 metres by 6 with a depth of 1.4m. All the outdoor areas are well furnished with tables and chairs for outdoor meals, and they feature are a large shaded area with trees, chairs and beach decks. There is also a barbecue and parking within the property.Interior
The house is a typical Tuscan villa, with wood beams on the ceilings, arches, and cotto flooring. On the ground floor, guests will find a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room with ornamental fireplace, a large living room and a smaller one (the smaller one with air conditioning) each with a satellite TV and direct outdoor access, a second kitchen with two doors leading outside, one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower (only shower curtain, no cubicle). A stone staircase leads to the upper floor with one living room with TV and air conditioning, 2 double bedrooms with air conditioning, each with a private bathroom with shower, two double bedrooms with air conditioning, one bedroom with two single beds (with fans only) and bathroom with private shower in the room, plus one bathroom with shower. On the second floor there is a bedroom with two single beds with air conditioning.

Location
The villa is surrounding by countryside with many olive groves and woods, in a panoramic position. The town of Lastra a Signa is reachable on foot. The villa is the ideal choice for groups of friends or large families who are looking to visit Florence in the morning, before relaxing in the garden and swimming pool.

Villa La Selva has wifi, central heating, air conditioning in the bedrooms on the first and second floor (except for the bedroom with two single beds on the upper floor) and in 2 living rooms, baby bed and highchair, parking in the property.

The price includes: bathroom, bedroom, kitchen linen and pool towels (with weekly change), internet, water, electricity (air conditioning not included) and gas (heating not included), high chair and baby bed. Upon request cookery courses, dinners, hired help.

Important information
Swimming pool available from May 1st to September 30th. Pool cleaning and maintenance will be performed early in the morning on days agreed upon with guests. Access to the villa is via a 500-meter uphill paved road, requiring a slow pace.Activities and distances
The villa is in the perfect location to visit Tuscany’s most famous and typical hamlets. It is just a few kilometres from Lastra a Signa, a picturesque centre with ancient buildings and great views in which every step you take reminds you of its history. Florence is also nearby. We suggest visiting and tasting the products of the local farms and wine cellars of the Chianti area, as well as horse riding, excursions, hiking and cookery courses.
