This is one of the best piers in the country, built to withstand 40-foot-high tides and as such it gives a wonderful view of Wales for those strolling along it on a fine day. Many poets have been inspired by the views from Clevedon Pier, and there is a magnificent coastal walk – Poets Walk – named after them.
