Cabina más nueva ubicada en carretera semiprivada. Cuenta con 3 habitaciones (2 con camas queen size y una con una cama litera doble sobre-completa). También tiene un futón de estilo euro completo en la sala de estar. Duerme fácilmente a 8 personas, suponiendo que las parejas usen las 2 camas queen \ 2 full. Dos baños completos con toallas y secador de pelo.

Cocina equipada con comedor en el comedor (asientos 8). Los electrodomésticos incluyen refrigerador (con máquina de hielo), estufa, lavaplatos, tostadora, microondas, triturador de basura, cafetera Keurig, ollas y sartenes. Gran televisor LED de 50 "en la sala de estar con Roku e internet (Wi-Fi). Lavadora \ Secadora, plancha y tabla de planchar. Cubierta superior de longitud completa y patio inferior con parrilla de gas.

La cabina se encuentra en un lote frente al agua de ~ 1 acre con una playa y un muelle. Hay mucho espacio de estacionamiento. Por un costo adicional también hay un espacio para autocaravanas equipado con agua / electricidad. Sin embargo, no hay conexión de alcantarillado.

Estamos ubicados en el centro y cerca del cruce I24 / I57 (~ 3 millas de x45 en la I-57). Además de sentarse frente al lago en el Lago de Egipto, las atracciones locales son el Bosque Nacional Shawnee, el Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Crab Orchard, la ruta del vino Shawnee Hills (11 viñedos), el viñedo Walkers Bluff y el centro de eventos, la Universidad del Sur de Illinois, la Universidad John A Logan . Además del lago de Egipto, esta propiedad también está cerca de Rend, Crab Orchard, Little Grassy y Devils Kitchen Lakes. Los parques estatales locales son Ferne Clyffe, Giant City y Garden of the Gods. Very clean and nice property. Some suggestions for future renters: boxes of kleenex, extra blankets, ice maker turned on/working, more comfortable furniture upstairs, more comfortable mattress. Didn't sleep well on current mattress. Lock on sliding door in basement doesnt work. Thanks

Excellent cabin! My family had a great time, the beach area is awesome for little ones or if you just want to sit on the beach and enjoy the lake. The Dock was great for my boat. Easy lake access with public boat launches. The cabin was very clean. Tip: park your cars towards the top of the hill if you can. We parked right by the house under the trees and ended up leaving with a cracked windshield and a couple dents on the hood from falling acorns/debris from the tall trees. Nature’s fault, not the owners. We will stay here again in the future.

Everything was perfect! Beautiful home. Several accommodations. Front row seat to the lake. Available dock for the pontoon. Beach area for the kids. Clean lake. It was just absolutely amazing. We will return in a heart beat.

Unique property on the Lake of Egypt

Nice vacation cabin, that was very clean and had almost all the amenities you would want for a lake house stay. The home is new and I'm good condition, and was clean throughout. The best part for us was that there was a nice beach on the property, with lots of toys and kayaks for kids. The kids loved the beach, and it was the only house I could see on the lake with a beach. Not being from the area I did not know much about the lake itself, but realize that it is a damed lake that is set up to service a coal fired power plant. You can't see it from the house, but I wonder about the water quality. Also be aware that it is pretty steep from the house to the lake and might be difficult for older guests

Great cabin

We had a 70th birthday party at a local rec center and this was a perfect spot to have our of town guests stay. Lovely home, beautiful view and the grandkids loved the beach area! Very quick response from Scott! We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Comfortable home away from home

We enjoyed our stay at this very quiet and peaceful home. The weather was not cooperative, but we were still able to view different wildlife from the deck and the peacefulness of the water. The bed was comfortable and enjoyed the many different channels provided to us on the TVs. The kitchen was more than adequate. We also appreciated that we did not have to go up or down steps to get our "stuff" in from the car. We will be flagging this home in case we travel to the Lake Egypt area again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great family option

Great location near many parks like Garden of the Gods, Giant City, Little Grand Canyon and many others. Enjoyed breakfast on the balcony watching the lake and ending the day paddle boarding or kayaking. Great setup for our group. Two bedrooms upstairs (queen bed in ea) with a nice kitchen and dinning room. Downstairs had a bedroom with a bunk bed along with a family room. Kids had their own kid cave down there :). Very nice time.

Beautiful place

The cabin was very clean, with an inviting atmosphere both inside and out. My wife and I stayed there while also visiting her mother in Marion, and some friends were able to visit us at the cabin as well, with lots of comfortable seating.

Lake Weekend

Had an enjoyable and fun summer weekend with our Godson and his family. We had everything we needed and Scott was very gracious. He replied immediately when we had questions. We were grateful for the dock, the kids loved the little beach and we made use of one of their lilly pads-very thankful for that! The hill to the water was a bit steep, but we had no issues with that! Enjoyable weekend!

Nice place with a great beach

House was generally clean and comfortable, and the beach was awesome! The kitchen appliances were great, but multiple dishes were dirty and the place was lacking in some basics that are typically provided at other similar properties (i.e. cooking spices, foil, paper products, etc). We had an issue with the garbage disposal, but Scott was able to have someone come to fix it super quickly. Overall, we’d recommend it, but be prepared to bring some extra supplies!

AWESOME RARE WALK IN BEACH ON LAKE OF EGYPT

We had a wonderful time. The beds are comfortable, the house is super clean, kitchen and bathrooms are really nice. The outside decks are great. The real highlight though was the beach, as a walk in beach was hard to find on lake of Egypt. Scott was super helpful and was able to help us get in there when we were leaving a less suitable accommodation on the lake. I’m so glad we discovered this hidden gem!

Girl’s Trip

We take a girl’s trip every year. The river wasn’t safe for us this year and we quickly switched gears and found this beautiful Cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and wanted! There was plenty of room for us all! Tons of game options. We loved the outdoor seating and the fact that the downstairs seating had fans. It was a beautiful view! The private dock was perfect for one of our girls that had a personal boat that we docked there all weekend! The beach accessory choices were fabulous. All in all we all love it and might have to two girls trips a year now! One to the river and one here! The boat owner was also very quick to communicate. 10/10 Rating

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property has been in my family since 1901. Before there was a lake it was my great Grandfathers farm. The surrounding property and across the lake were a part of the 85 acre property. In 1963-ish, as the lake was being created the farm was parceled out were each of the Adams children received a lot (hence Adams Acres) and the property beneath the lake and across was sold. The cabin is located on my Uncle Denny's lot that briefly was owned outside of the family. We were able to purchase it and build the cabin in exactly the same spot and footprint of his original cabin.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The cabin at Adams Acres offers close proximity to the local highways (Interstates 24 & 57 and Illinois routes 37 & 148) are a few minutes away. The home is newer (built in 2016) with the express purpose of being a short stay cabin for people visiting Southern Illinois...including my family. We did our best to insure the place includes the creature comforts of a home with the solitude and privacy of a lakeside cabin. There is a dock, private beach (shared with our home next door), kayaks and peddle boat for recreation. There is also a fire pit down by the water for night time fun.
