Lake Front home Sleeps 10 Overlooking deck for perfect lake views & a coffee bar

Large lake front house W/ two family rooms and a deck overlooking Lake of Egypt for the best sunsets you can find. New updates on all furniture and coffee bar recently added. Dock and Kayaks are included as well as grill and outdoor dining set to have your coffee or watch those incredible sunsets from. There are two full bathrooms and high-speed internet. We are also pet-friendly with a pet fee!

Boat rentals are available around the lake. Check out https://lakeofegyptpontoonrentals.com and tell them Roman sent you!!!
Macks Marina and Egyptian Hills Marina also have boat rentals and you can launch your boat from both of them and also Pyramid Acres for a small fee.
We do provide two kayaks and two paddleboards for each home. Please bring your own life vests as we do not provide those.
We do require a $100 Damage Deposit. This will be returned to you immediately upon our cleaning team reporting no damage, no excess cleaning, and no excess trash.

This is a well equipped house with fairly modern appliances and laid out to give room for the four of us. During the week it was quiet and peaceful. On the weekend it became rather crowded. Nice view of lake.

House was perfect for what we needed it for! Dock has electricity so that was helpful. Enjoyed having a washer/dryer, however, they were a bit older and didn’t feel like they cleaned things very well. Beds were comfortable. Furniture was comfortable. Would be nice to have a King size bed in the master! Overall we would stay again. The covered patio was nice, especially since it rained so much last week.

Shawnee hiking fun!

The views were awesome and just like the pictures showed. So close to the lake. Had a great time on the deck every night.

Enjoyed the view, the offering of kayaks and fire pit. Was not aware it was 2 units in one house and another family would be in the basement. Stairs from the deck are very unstable and a little dangerous. A big chunk of the popcorn ceiling in the bathroom came down while my son was in the shower. There cobwebs on light fixtures but not a big deal to us.

Great weekend stay

The place was as described and very clean. It was a little confusing knowing which was our place and knowing exactly what we had access to such as lawn furniture and fire pit. Overall, it was a great place and a great stay!

Great house in a beautiful setting

This place was great! My friends and I had an event in Marion over the weekend and this place was the perfect for our group. We had fun with the kayaks and paddleboards in the afternoons and sat on the pier in the evenings. The house was very comfortable and clean inside.

Happy Quiet Cove

Great home with beautiful sunsets and a multitude of gathering spots off and on water. Having warm and friendly neighbors and hosts close by is a wonderful addition!

Surpassed Expectations

We were so very pleased with the property. The house itself is beautiful, very clean, and well appointed. It was very spacious with a gorgeous view right down the lake with a spectacular view of the sunset each night. We had guests below us but would never have known if we had not met outside. We will be requesting this property again!!

Weekday shortstay

We stayed her due to a funeral in the family. We wanted something clean and close to other family. This was perfect and we will probably come back for vacation. Lovely property.

As advertised and pretty

I had booked this property in Jan 2025. We had unexpected sickness with family and couldn't travel and the Property Manager worked with us to reschedule. Then when it was time to go again we got 10 inches of snow and couldn't go, once again the Property Management worked with us!! Amazing and easy PM. The stay was very nice as well. Location is pretty. We enjoyed our stay.

Great spot to watch eclipse

The property was just as advertised. Clean, and located in a lovely spot. We had a great time watching the eclipse in a perfect lakefront spot.

Perfect little getaway

The house was exactly like the photos, it was clean and well kept. We had a wonderful time. The neighbors were super friendly and sweet. Everything went smoothly the owner was great at communicating with us. Highly recommend!

The house was awesome from a size perspective, however the house was lacking in general maintenance and amenities. There was a lack of towels and three rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels. We arrived with 10 people and that we found to be unacceptable. I messaged the owner and they did deliver 4 more rolls of toilet paper and towels. In addition to that there were multiple deck boards broken or loose, the ladder on the dock was broken and presented a safety hazard. Overall the house is very nice and in a prime location, but it could use some love and being 20 minutes away from any stores, it should come with enough supplies to make a group of 10 comfortable.

Family Gathering

We rented this for a weekend getaway and had a great time. The location is nice with a good view of the lake. The house was clean and comfortable with the basics provided (kitchen items, bathroom towels, etc) The unit is the top floor with permanent residents in the basement unit. This wasn’t an issue for us, but something to consider.

Vacation

Place was nice and clean. The cover on the attic fan kept falling and the ladder on dock was broken, but did not stop from having a good time. I did not know that the lower level of house was also rented out. The kids loved the kayaks and paddleboards.
