Calming Sea View City Apartment
Relax and unwind after a long day exploring Edinburgh in our spacious three bedroom apartment with amazing sea views.
With two bathrooms and a modern kitchen there`s plenty of amenities for friends and family. Dont cook? A quick walk away and you`re at Newhavens restaurants.
Watch a beautiful sunrise or spot our local seals from one of our 2 large balconies. With a 20 minute drive from the city centre you`re close enough to enjoy the culture and sites, whilst having a zen place to escape to!
People like to stay here because it feels calming and spacious. We like things to feel a little luxurious however this is still a home which people live in, so there will be a homely feel to it too!
The master has an en-suite with a shower, and there is a large family bathroom with a jacuzzi bath.
There is a modern kitchen with all the amenities needed to cook for friends and family and one big living space with lounge area and dining area.
There are 3 balconies, one Juliet balcony in main bedroom, one terrace style balcony with a table and chairs and then one nearly wrap around balcony that is great for sunbathing on!
The whole place is yours.
We are available 24/7 for any queries or questions you may have.
This is a really safe and chilled complex. With a security system to enter and a secured parking area. The area surrounding us is safe and there is a great bus network 2 minutes walk away!
Towards Newhaven there is access to the beach which is a lovely place with a long walk across Granton harbour. The beach hosts a lovely community, there`s usually some people on the beach even in winter. Most mornings you will see brave people going for a dip in the sea or people sitting with a fire. Make sure to bring your swimming costume!
A short walk past the harbour and 5 minutes more you will start to see restaurants and some pubs. The Old Chain Pier is a really great restaurant with amazing views. Worth a walk!
20 minutes away you will see another harbour, where there is a few more restaurants and pubs.
If you want to go shopping there is Ocean terminal which is a short bus journey or car ride away. This is also home to the Royal Yacht Brittania!
If you are looking for the cool place that isnt touristy and full of chain restaurants, head towards Leith which is 15/20 mins away. This is Edinburgh`s up and coming spot, it is filled with culture, a buzz and lots independent businesses.
To the west of us, is Cramond which has amazing woodland walks and a stunning sprawling beach.
We are a 20 minute drive to the city centre or 30 minutes on the bus.
Around Granton Sq. There is a great bus service. You can also easily call a taxi or book an uber.
There are shops and restaurants within walking distance however be aware we are not in a busy area, for night life etc you will want to head to Leith or Edinburgh city centre. The restaurants etc near us are really good quality however and worth a visit.
We aren`t a party place! Please be aware of this before booking. This a chilled area and although fun is encouraged it is a community within the building and we like to be respectful.
Please note, that there is not a sofa bed or air bed available for use in this apartment. Airbnb cannot remove this from the `Where you`ll sleep` section below.
