The location is wonderful. There is a crosswalk to go to the beach right outside the condo. Parking was no problem at all. There were a lot of supplies left for us to use in the condo and lots of equipment to use at the beach.The air conditioner did cool things off downstairs, but we needed the ceiling fan and portable fan on all the time for the upstairs bedroom to stay cool.

I’ve stayed at the Maui vistas 4 times now and they never disappoint, this is my go to whenever I go to Maui, it’s 3 min from the beach and right in the perfect location

Maui Kihei stay

Stay in Kihei for trip to Maui was enjoyable and met our needs during our stay. Location worked out great as base for our Maui adventures.

Great property, good location, good stay.

The property was clean and well located. Close to beaches, restaurants, etc. The complex is a bit old but well maintained. Good info and easy communication with the owners.

Economical Place to Stay

The unit was in a great location and the grounds were very well kept. The unit was clean, but in need of deep cleaning and some TLC. We would stay here again for the location and the ocean view.

Exactly what it says on the tin.

This apartment is no frills, great value for money, fantastic location. It has literally everything you could need and more. Lots of space for 2 of us, well-equipped. Only drawback was that the AC was super loud, we just had to turn it off while we slept but the fans were fine

Courteous Security

We arrived later than expected, located security and he was informative, and escorted us to our unit. Gave us friendly suggestions and of we needed assistance to reach out. Although it was a place to rest for a few nights, the use of 2 bathrooms is very comforting.

Could be better

Sofa needs replacing as there are no back cushions left. Air conditioner barely cools if you run it 24/7 on the lowest setting. Beds are super comfortable and the condo met our needs quite well.

The location of this property is perfect, however it really needs to be updated. I have stayed in several units in the Maui Vista over the years and this one was definitely the most dated. It wasn’t really clean either. We had to call to have a glass put in the bedroom window when we arrived. The owners were very generous in allowing us a late checkout which we really needed as a result of all the max8 planes that were grounded. We would not likely stay in this unit again unless it was updated and cleaned properly.

Location in maui great and view from 4th floor was awesome,HOWEVER the place wasnt cleaned very well dropped something behid couch moved it and plenty of debris under it also had sign about Ants in kitchen BUT we had multiple colored multileg( looked like roaches in kitchen too bathtub 1st floor backed up during every shower had water above ankles ASAP and we had to plunge it after each shower,lastly TV didnt work very well remotes were difficult and there were not good instructions

Family trip to Kihei

My husband and I stayed here while on a family vacation with our two kids (3 and 1). It’s is in a great location. Short walk to Charlie Young beach and longer walk or short drive to the Kam beaches. Easy waking distance to lots of restaurants and the playground at Kamala Park. It is a standard/dated condo but that is clearly indicated in the pictures and by the rental agency. It is also reflected in the much cheaper nightly price compared to other condos in the area. The rental company was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a great budget friendly rental perfect location with an ocean view and walk to shops and beach literally across the street it is dated and the air conditioning did not cool off the condo but I would still highly recommend this

Great spot

1411 has a great view of the ocean compared to other units we've stayed in at Maui Vista. Coffee in the morning on the Lanai was awesome. Super short walk to Charley Young beach. The unit was clean and everything worked fine, just a bit outdated...

Great little spot

The location and views are amazing and it’s a great little spot. Only issue was A/C was not very cold, the A/C unit is not big enough to cool the whole place comfortably.

Great time in Maui

The views from unit 1411 are fantastic. We stayed in it with another couple and it was large enough for both couples to have good privacy. Unit was clean and functional but could use some updating.

Kihei Maui Review

Everything went well, except the check in process. I called to see if I could check in early, at 2:00 instead of 3:00. But the the person at AA said she call me back, never got a call back. Then the person at the office was rather rude when i was getting the parking pass, not a friendly person. Maybe I got her when she was ready to close the office.

Usually we let our guests know the check-in time and will call them only if the unit is ready before 3pm. Unfortunately, our AA Oceanfront office is not on the Maui Vista property, so you did not speak to one of our staff members at the Maui Vista office.
