Rose Cottage is spacious and well equipped. It was ideal for our family of seven. There are 2 pubs in the village of Embleton and a Farm Store, all of which we frequented. The cottage is a short drive or 15 minute walk to beautiful Embleton Bay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Booked for a third year - such a find

It’s a great cottage in a brilliant location with plenty of space and the size of the fridge and freezer make all the difference when self catering. Bathrooms and kitchen have everything you need for a family stay the communication had always been really helpful and speedy.

The cottage was very well appointed with everything you could need. It's in a good position for access to the surrounding villages, towns and, of course, the spectacular beaches.

Comfortable, spacious cottage in a fabulous location

We stayed in Rose Cottage (4 bedrooms) and it was perfect for our group of 6 adults. Very comfortable, cozy and warm with everything we needed. Such a great location to explore the glorious coast on foot with the bonus of a shop, buses, and places to eat on the doorstep. A highlight was the song thrush singing to us each morning and evening from a tree in the garden. Such joy. We hope to return.

Absolutely lovely, adore the cottage and the location.

The Cottage was delightful and so warm and relaxing. We all enjoyed every moment of our stay and will most certainly be back as soon as possible. The location is beautiful and has so many great restaurants, no distance from the Cottage and the sea shore is within easy walking distance.

Very comfortable, immaculate, dog friendly cottage in central but peaceful village location. Comfy beds and furnishings, spotless and well equipped. Loved the log burners and George promptly delivered logs for us when the weather was chilly.

Great Location and Comfortable for a large group!

The house was a great size for our family group, and dogs - comfortable, clean and cosy. We love Embleton and this was a nice quiet spot with good parking in the centre of village with good access to the beach and local shop and pub. We will be back!

Absolutely fabulous!

Rose Cottage has a wonderful layout as downstairs all the rooms connect. It is very spacious and all the furniture is super comfy. It is modern and luxurious. All bedrooms are large. The kitchen equipment and utensils, plates etc are of high quality. Garden is lovely. Although a lot of space inside and out, it still feels cosy. Highly recommend! And Embleton is lovely too 😬

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location

Rose cottage is wonderful. It has everything you need. It’s very clean with lots of space and great sized rooms. The garden is secure and fenced off all around the cottage so perfect for the dog to chill on the grass while I had a coffee. The location is perfect for walking down to the coast, past the golf course and we did this everyday. We were quite sad to leave and could have easily have stayed much longer. We’ll definitely return as it’s lovely.

Great stay

Super week at Rose Cottage, lovely house, immaculately clean with everything we needed. Issue with the heating on arrival but sorted really quickly thanks to George and his electrician. We’ll definitely stay again.

Superb cottage that was perfect for a family Christmas break.

The cigar is very well appointed and warm. Very well equipped kitchen and the utility and pitch areas are great for those with dogs as allowed them to dry off before coming into the house. Good bargains and plenty hot water. Log burners were enjoyed in the evenings. This is a lovely party of the world and we will be rebooking.
