Location was excellent. Key pick up is difficult to navigate when you have all your suitcases. Movie room was unusable as it smelled very musty. We bought an air fresher and it helped with the musty smell on other parts of the house.

The apartment was terrible. There was mold everywhere - in the bathrooms, the heaters, and in the vents. It was uninhabitable. We tried to reach the host 3 different times to discuss at noone ever responded.

Mold throughout the entire apartment. Water dripping down the front door and pooling on the floor. Mold triggered allergies and asthma in our group. Panelling falling off the kitchen baseboard. Minimal hot water, not enough for one full shower. We left after only one of three nights. Have not heard back from anyone about remediation.

It’s was regular.. logistic to pick up and return the keys is super painful for the guest. Instructions are not clear, Does not indicate that I have to go first for the keys and then to the place u have rent. Also, I sent a email on Saturday when I arrived since I was having issues to find the place and did not receive any reply back .. and finally the humanity in the apto is huge.

The property was cute and clean. If you like the Netflix show Emily in Paris, this is on the same street as her apartment, and Gabriel’s restaurant in the show, which is kind of fun to see. It’s on the ground floor, so not a lot of stairs. We stayed here because we had to last minute extend our stay in Paris due to my son being hospitalized. This happened to be available last minute. The host company was hard to get a response from, but once someone got back to us, they did help us store our luggage at a hotel the day we changed apartments, which was nice. There is no dishwasher, and at the time of our stay there was no drying rack or some absorbent kitchen towels. Using the toaster knocked out the power, but we figured out which switch to flip to get it back on. Don’t use the toaster. The fan above the stove didn’t work, so you may need to open a window when cooking. It is smaller than it looks in pictures, but somehow it added to the charm for me. The biggest inconvenience was the key and how it has to be picked up and dropped off a few blocks away. It’s still a very nice apartment and I did enjoy my stay. It would be great for a small group of close friends or a small family for a short trip.

We had a fantastic time at Joffrey's place - the location was absolutely incredible! Close to amazing restaurants and the bakery nearby serves amazing food! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this apartment because of the mold. The vent in the basement is full of it, and the smell absolutely permeates the apartment. There is no ventilation and no way to leave windows open when you go out. Additional issues were that all confirmations reflected that we could get keys at the apartment and someone would meet us there, but then, the night before we left (while we were in transit) we got an email saying we needed to go to a location three blocks away, through two coded gates, and in a lock box. That message came after we were in the airplane, so my parents, who were getting the key, were not aware. We messaged the host through VRBO, but I don't think anyone checks that. Also, note that the "host" is a corporation outside of France, and books through yet another agency. If you need help, there is nobody you can talk to. Had a question about WiFi, which fortunately I figured out on my own, since nobody ever responded. Fold out bed is pretty terrible, and there is virtually no place to put luggage or unpack. Location is amazing, so if they get a whole-house dehumidifier or otherwise address the mold, it could be good.
