A great place near the river with amazing views of the bridge and night lights. The Fontainhas Cafe nearby was our go to spot for breakfast. Joseph was amazing and we loved the family feel of the area.

This property is managed by a third-party company, not an individual host. We paid in full 8 months prior, but months later the company emailed claiming they hadn't received payment and we might lose our booking. VRBO couldn't help with the third-party transaction, and the company ignored our VRBO messages. It was eventually resolved via email, but very stressful.Oddly, as our stay approached and during our trip, they completely turned around, used the VRBO tool, and were highly responsive.Once there, we loved it! It’s in a cute part of the Ribeira area, close to two bridges, and within walking distance of everything. Groceries were easily accessible. The unit was clean, comfortable, and came with welcome coffee pods.Despite the early communication hiccups, the property and location are fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it!

Had a pleasant stay. Check in was easy. Liked that there were 2 bathrooms and a washing machine. The 2nd bedroom is rather small and does not have space for luggage. Would suggest a second fan so each room can have one. The 2nd bathroom had a bit of sewer smell. The lack of doors on the showers causes water to get everywhere but we dealt with it.
