Perfect Family Beach Vacation
One of the best spots on Grace Bay! Jeeno welcomed us and took us on a tour of the condo & facilities. She gave us great advice on reasonable places to eat, groceries and even taxis.
We stayed here for a week with 3 teenagers. The condo itself was top shelf all the way with plenty of space for everyone. The amenities - wifi, appliances, HDTVs, gas grill, tennis equip, w&d - gave us all the comforts of home. We used the grill 2 nights and 3 days for lunch. We actually had some friends stay at another resort who ended up coming to our beach most days. It is a first floor unit, so you simply walk out to the beach where the Pinnacles staff had our chairs / tables / cabana's all set up for us.
The Pinnacles complex itself is gorgeous. Great pool, tennis court, fitness center and jacuzzi. It's gate so there is no traffic or people walking through all the time. The staff even brought us fresh coconuts 3 times (great with the local rum!).
We thought the best part was the location. It's next to the Seven Stars resort. The beach is a bit wider at this end and much less crowded than Beaches / Club Med or some of the other big resorts. Some good and reasonable restaurants were within walking distance (Caicos Cafe, Mr Grouper's, Caicos Bakery, Crackpot Kitchen). The IGA market is also a 5 minute walk away. Make sure you reserve Thursday night for the local Fish Fry (taxi ride) for some great local seafood, rum punch, music and dancing on the beach - nothing like it. For activities, the Dive Shop is a 5 minute walk. We booked a diving trip and a snorkel trip, they picked us up in the boat right outside the condo. We also did some parasailing and banana boat rides right at our beach.
We will definitely be returning to Grace Bay and this condo!
