The condo had a nice view of the water. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was nice to have. The bathroom door is warped on the bottom, but it was not a problem.

Location was nice and exactly as shown online. Beach is nearby but have to get in the car to go to any beach. Unit was well equipped including beach chairs. Bathroom was tiny compared to size of the overall unit. After a day or so, there were flies and gnats in the bathroom and balcony. That was the only thing that would make us reconsider if we want to rent that unit again.

We had a great time staying here. The view on the balcony was beautiful and everything was very clean. We would stay here again!

Good place to stay on the North Shore

Convenient to North Shore activities. Good view of Ocean and Whale activity.

Great property

We had a great vacation here. The property was beautiful with stunning views and centrally located. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and we would book here again on our next trip to Maui.

Great end of summer vacation

The location was clean, easy access to the main streets close to restaurants. We had a very nice view of the beach and ocean.

The unit was a little shabby. Bottom of the bathroom door is rotting, A:C vent was dirty. Initially our key card did not work. The view of the ocean was great

Kahana Vacation

Both my daughters stayed here while wife and I were just down the street. The beach and pool were awesome. There is also a small local beach within walking distance that my kids enjoyed. Condos and accommodations were perfect. Thank you for the 2 beach chairs. Very convenient!

Great view, location and value

We loved our stay. Having a kitchen was nice so we can cook some of our meals. Groceries nearby, Kaanapali beach not far away. It was nice to be able to sleep hearing the waves as background. Only thing is we cannot control the thermostat temp; but it is okay because we kept the door open to let the cool breeze in.

It was a nice place overall. Had great views like pictures show. Stayed one night, then found the shower wasn’t working. Management company sent us to another location that was perfect for us!!

Perfect for our needs

We enjoyed our stay here at the Royal Kahana. They provided everything we needed for our stay. I would say that people might want to know the bathroom is a little tight. My husband is a little bit on the bigger side, and so navigating the space in there was a little bit of a challenge for 2 people, but other than that, the rest of the space of our VRBO was fine. It was really nice to have an in-unit washer and dryer.

Nice studio with ocean views

The property is as described. There is an ocean view from the lanai. The unit has all the needed amenities and was comfortable and clean. Convenient location in Kahana and walking distance to the beach and local shops. The only issue I had was the key did not work on my arrival, but the property manager got it sorted out quickly.

Perfect short break

I am a solo traveller from Australia. The apartment was very clean, spacious and had everything I needed for a short break. The welcome pack was a lovely inclusion. The bed was quite soft which I thought might cause my bad back some problems, but it didn't I slept very well. I would book this apartment again if I return to Maui.

A perfect piece of paradise. The condo is beautiful. Clean, neat, safe, well stocked. The property management company is very helpful. I had a couple of questions prior to and during our stay. They answered immediately with any assistance I might’ve needed. We look forward to staying here again.

Great overall stay

The unit and building were nice. Had a small issue w/ the thermostat, but the on-call person came over quickly on a holiday and fixed it. They did charge for parking which was unexpected. Overall, the experience was very good and the unit met all expectations.

Great Location

The lovation is great! You can see whales jumping off the balcony. An earlier reviewer stated they had AC trouble which I would honestly have to agree with. Even when set to 70 I neber saw it get below 73.5. I will say though that using the fan made the room quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the towels and beach chairs were super-convenient. The owners were responsive after hours when we had trouble getting in on the first day. The security on the bottom floor was super-helpful when we needed new room cards because ours expired mid-trip. All in all this is a great property at a great price, and we would definitely visit again if heading back to Maui!

Great Condo, excellent views!

My daughter and I stayed here for the first part of our trip and loved it. It was a clean unit and was centrally located along the West part of the island. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The views posted in the listing are much closer in person and we loved it. Even though we were at the tail end of the whale season, we could see them every morning and throughout the day which was amazing. We thought it was a quiet unit and didn’t have any issues while we were there. The only thing I could recommend is maybe having a bit more kitchen supplies, but if you’re not cooking/eating a whole lot in the unit, it’s fine. Beach towels are provided, but there aren’t chairs or a cooler, so if you need those for beach days, maybe look into renting some out. Overall, we loved this unit and would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
