301 West Condo ofrece una vista increíble de 270 grados con vista al Golfo de México y al Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Bon Secour. Este ático de esquina grande presenta cerca de 1900 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable y un balcón generoso que ofrece impresionantes vistas desde el MB, LR y DR. Otras características arquitectónicas incluyen una vida de concepto abierto con techos de más de 10 pies en todas partes con molduras de doble corona que se abren hasta 15 pies en las áreas de estar y comedor. Sólo hay cuatro unidades de ático de esquina en Martinica. Dos ubicadas en cada extremo del edificio Este y dos en cada extremo del Oeste. La vista de 301 West captura a la perfección la playa y el sol de la mañana saliendo del Golfo.

La cocina completamente equipada incluye desayunador, área para desayunar, área de comedor, máquina de hielo, microondas, estufa, refrigerador, lavaplatos, triturador de basura, triturador de basura y lavandería con lavadora y secadora grandes. Ventiladores de techo en todas las BR y calefacción central y A / C. El dormitorio principal está separado y es privado de los otros dos dormitorios y tiene puerta de acceso al balcón. The interior of the condo needs a little love and attention. The queen mattress in the room with the sitting chair needs to be replaced ASAP. Our party decided the couch was more comfortable than trying to sleep two people on that mattress. The lamp in the living room is broken and rather than replacing the lamp it’s been glued together. The lighting over the dining table is missing pieces and has melted in the underneath side. The dryer has rust on the top. While all these things are manageable for a stay if really makes one wonder what else is being overlooked or ignored

We like how quiet it is and its location away from everything. 301W has been updated since we last stayed and has everything a family could want! The view from the balcony cannot be beat! The beds are extremely comfortable and this may not matter to some but the water pressure and shower heads in the bathrooms are fantastic! The only complaint is that by the time we come, in early October, the pools are too cold for most people to get in. Wish they would start heating both pools and not just the smaller one (in November). Even with that, Martinique is amazing!

Everything is wonderful in this unit except the bedding in the 2nd and 3rd BRs. It is so uncomfortable that the occupants were choosing to sleep on the floor or sofa. Also the linens are so cheap and uncomfortable in all the rooms you would think we were in a cheap motel vs. an expensive beach rental. Owners seriously need to do some upgrades.

Disappointing Condo

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Most disappointing Martinique condo since 2005-even stayed in this condo previously. Pictures no longer reflect furnishings. Day of arrival, we were notified previous renters messed up condo, delaying check-in to clean and take pictures. After arriving, noted LR lamps, DR light, guest bath cabinet door, balcony door bracket broken. No comforter or bath rugs in master-found 3 dirty bath rugs thrown under sink. Master commode lid was black when raised from much use. That evening, two family members were bit by ants sitting on sofa. Removed all cushions to find stains on other side of cushions, ants covering sofa, floor and along balcony door. Text and phone to obtain help without response as office had closed and next day was July 4. Unable to remain in LR, used resolve spray until obtained ant spray next day. Next day, maintenance man came with can of spray and traps (like we used). Thankfully, no ants during family wedding reception but reappeared two days later and were told exterminators come next Monday. We just kept spraying. Washer broke on Thursday, told part unavailable. We rented 3 condos in west bldg for family wedding & vacation-other 2 were excellent. Best part of condo was balcony & view. Best of Martinique is community & pool -but no umbrellas? Day after July 4, we reported ants & condo problems w/promise of 10%discount, a master comforter and bath rugs. This did not happen. Reported again, this time to Susan who apologized, gave 10% discount on condo, plus credited cleaning fee. We love Martinique & will return. Sad this condo allowed to become in disarray. See note by previous renters bit by ants too. Please replace w/new pictures to reflect current furnishings. Present condition is not worth the $. It was a beautiful condo in past which was reason we planned family gatherings in our condo. Thanks Susan, maintenance, security for being kind and helpful. Recommend Martinique property, not condo. Hope to stay there when it is improved

Space in unit is good.Unit was fairly dirty upon arrival. No way it had been cleaned per any Covid protocol. Trash compactor had not been emptied, balcony floor was dirty with liquid stains (they came up once we did a mop job). Food crumbs on the dinning room table, 1 of the bedroom closets was so full of junk you couldn't even get into it to hang clothes, 1 of the Master bedrooms closet doors was off it's track, and several light bulbs were out. We spent a couple hours cleaning upon arrival. Furniture is not as pictured inside unit or on balcony. It is hard to seat 6 adults in living room when there is only seating for 4. Front office was notified of problems and they did send someone to fix the closet door problem and to empty the trash compactor right away but the cleaning issue was never dealt with or any apologies made. Overall a nice unit and we would probably stay here again as long as the issues we had were attended to.

Been to the Martinque several times and had always enjoyed the stay. This time things were really bad and will tell friends and family to go elsewhere. Picked this condo 301 west because of pictures and they weren’t even close to what is was like in the photos. Furniture was old and very uncomfortable and stains on the stools. Appliances are honestly 25 to 30 years old. Washing machine ruined a couple of shirts and blanket, didn’t notice till I got home. We weren’t able to check in until 5:00 as they said they needed extra time to clean. Arrived late at night and next day in the light when we woke up started to look the place over. It was disgusting. They cleaned alright about a month ago or so. Took pictures of the place. 1/4 inch dirt and dust on ceiling fans in living rm & bedroom. Food on kitchen counter and bugs on counter. Sticky substance on kitchen floor that had not been cleaned. Dirt covered the refrigerator on top. Mold on bathroom shower door. Whole place hadn’t been vacuumed. Anyway very bad. Called reservations and asked for another place to stay. She said they had one but would have to ask the manager. His reply was no way. He called me and was really rude and tried to tell me he was there when they cleaned but wasn’t able to come down and look at my concerns. They did send somebody to clean the areas I said something about but wouldn’t clean whole place. Also light switches filthy and handles. One last thing. You go on vacation to relax, enjoy beach and pool. They put new pool chairs around pool made out of composite but had no cushions for them. Really hard to lay on them for any length of time. Had to go buy yoga mats to put on the chairs in order to use the. Seen other people using blowup rafts to lay on the chairs also. Several people mentioned something to us about the chairs also. They said to hard to care for.Anyway so glad to leave that place and will never be back. Like I sai

Vacation with grandchildren. (16 to 7 years of age)

Great location(view) and everything we needed for a super vacation. Due to the pandemic we basically spent all of our time at Martinique using both pools or spending the days/evenings on the private beach. Grandsons and I fished (early mornings and after dark) this was there first experience surf fishing; something they really enjoyed. We even caught quite a few Reds, and the occasional Fluke. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying in our beautiful condo at 301 W. The new owners very graciously honored the contract for our stay, even though they were not required to do so. The condo is fully equipped beautifully decorated with the artwork of one of the co-owners and the furniture created by Odom, with all of the essential needs for a comfortable three-month stay. The owners continue to make improvements with the addition of furniture and other amenities. We LOVE Martinique!Brenda and Jimmy Colby
