Host excellent for communication. Pool area lovely. Local residents very friendly. For the money it was good. A welcome pack would have been nice as it was a very late arrival.Shops ect about a 15/20 minute walk, but a little grocery store and take out just along the road.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic holiday in the villa! The pool was fairly quiet with plenty of sun loungers. The villa’s great location makes exploring the local area easy. It’s a 20-minute walk to the restaurants and harbour area while the shopping mall and supermarket are just a 5-minute drive away.I’d thoroughly recommend going to Oniro to see the sunset and the shipwreck.Kevin was always quick to respond to messages and accommodated a different departure time to fit our flight.

Great stay. Good facilities. All worked well.We walk a lot so the location was fine for quayside and old town. If you don’t walk much, you will need to use hire car or taxi for this places.

Really nice property. Clean and well stocked with everything you need. Pool area great, quiet and kept clean. Roof terrace is nice in the mornings. Road can be noisy but dodn't cause us an issie. Easy to walk into town, shops near by. Overall would stay there again.

home away from home

Good property. conveniently located. nice town. In the hot months, advisable to also rent a car as too hot to walk but very short distances in day time. Otherwise house is in a small nice compound with nice garden and pool.

Lovely villa very well stocked, very clean with everything you needed already there. Kids really loved the pool, but could have been a bit cleaner. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the owners let us stay later because we had a late flight. Would definitely use again if we went there as a family again .

Overall the villa is nice and fit for purpose, nice location although car is needed if want to explore the area . The villa is mainly well equipped, I must mention a few cons— kitchen kettle leaks when pouring , toaster way too small for a large villa . Shower in ensuite needs the head rail replacing as it doesn’t stay up at all . Rear patio tiles needs attention, cracks and pieces missing led to me catching my toe and taking the skin off (not great ) under the beds very dusty . Kitchen oven needs a good deep clean and BBQ is very old and dirty need replacing . And definitely needs spare bedding as there is no washing line so takes a day in to wash and change all the bedding . Communal pool has residents sat round all day who are not keen for a family to have a laugh and a splash .. But for the cost of the villa it is value for money in high season . No major issues just needs a bit of TLC .

Sorry, to hear that you had a few issues during your stay. All properties on the complex are privately owned with guests expected to follow the complex rules (which are not harsh) and respect others whilst enjoying their holiday. Spare bedding is readily available if requested from our agents as per the information in the Property Handbook. Our agents are also available to address any queries guests may have during their stay. As owners we are usually in Paphos 4 - 5 times a year to inspect the property, replace appliances and complete repairs as necessary. Our agents also complete these tasks on our behalf in our absence.

Nice location within Paphos (we have stayed on this complex before) but the Air Conditioning is rationed to just 2hrs. This makes sleeping through the night difficult. Had I known, I would not chosen to stay here

The air conditioning in Oleander Villa is not rationed at all. It is on a 2 hour timer that can be turned back on for an additional 2 hours immediately. In theory the air conditioning can be on all day and night. We were advised to install timers by our agents in Paphos who informed us that some guests were leaving the air conditioning on and then going out for the entire day/evening. Electricity in Cyprus is expensive and the timers enable us not to charge guests extra for the use of air conditioning. We have also recently installed ceiling fans that are not on a timer.

Good holiday property with responsive hosts

The directions supplied from Paphos airport to the property were easy to follow and accurate which was good as we arrived in the dark. The house is on a small complex with a shared pool which we mostly had to ourselves. It was extremely hot in Cyprus with a couple of severe weather warnings for 40c so air conditioning in the house, included in the rental cost, was very welcome. It has adequate equipment in the kitchen though we only had breakfast and the odd snack at the house as we ate out. The garden backs onto the road outside which was occasionally quite noisy especially as Cypriots tend to drive fast.

Perfect size Family size villa

It was a lovely villa ideally suited for 4 adults and two children, with all the utilities inside and on the terrace.. The complex was tidy and appealing to the eye. We all enjoyed the few times we used the pool - Please take note for visitors: NOT to wear sun lotion before entering the pool, there are residents ‘watching’. We had to rent a car for longer than planned as the villa is not on a bus route if you have younger members it’s rather a long walk to Paphos harbour front. Wifi was erratic with a weak signal mostly, however our hosts managed to solve it latterly, thanks Graham/Kevin. On a final point - there is a lot of speeding traffic from different directions late at night which sound like they are on a FI route…..?? All in all our first family holiday with the young grandchildren it was about making memories for them….! Thank you Kevin and Graham from all of us.

Hi Valerie, We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Oleander Villa and that you had a lovely first holiday abroad with your grandchildren. We confirmed prior to you booking with us that the nearest bus depot was 2km away and the nearest bus stop was over 1km away. We also informed you before you arrived that the complex rules required everyone to shower by the pool prior to entering the pool. We are reliably informed that suntan lotion damages the pool filters. When we were informed that the wi-if signal was poor we contacted our internet provider and they were able to boost the signal within a couple of hours. Our property is not on a busy road and speeding vehicles are thankfully not a regular occurrence. Thank you again for choosing to stay at Oleander Villa. Graham

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem großzügigen und gut ausgestattetem Haus mit Pool. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Strände etc. in der Umgebung zu erkunden.Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Super huisje mooi gelegen tussen oud Paphos en de haven. Dakterras was zonnig en ruim en voorzieningen op orde. Enkel was de Wifi “hit and miss”.

Schöner Kurztrip

Sehr gute Ferienvilla mit viel Platz. Spitzen Betreuung durch den Vermieter. Gute Betten und eine komplett eingerichtete Küche. Ankommen, wohlfühlen und genießen. Am besten auf der großen Dachtetasse. Das Haus ist zwar häufig vermietet und genutzt, aber alles war sauber und gepflegt. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!

Clean, Safe and comfortable

The property is well looked after and provided us with a comfortable base from which to explore Paphos. We like to walk when we can and averaged about 16 km daily all around the city. It was great to have this "home base" to return to to relax and recover between outings. The property is just as described in the listing. We would gladly stay there again if we ever return to Paphos and recommend it unreservedly.

Fabulous Mini-Break

We stayed just 3 nights in Paphos before visiting family in Nicosia. The villa is large and spacious and had everything we needed. There were always plenty of sunbeds by the pool and we spent quality family time playing games, swimming and sunbathing. About 30 minutes walk to the main Paphos promenade/ castle, 25 minutes to the beautiful Lighthouse beach and 20 minutes to the huge shopping mall. We didn’t walk in the middle of the day heat but early evening to see beautiful sunsets and work up an appetite for dinner. Even enjoyed some UK favourites on TV before bed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Holiday gem

Lovely clean spacious apartment. Pool was ideal as never too busy, location was very good and Owner very helpful. Everything you required was in the apartment. Hope to return soon
