Great Family Place

We stayed there over Christmas break and it was perfect for our family. The location is great and we loved the pool table! Not the fanciest house in the world, but a great price and exactly what we needed.

Pleased with our stay.

Very nice property. A little hard to find. The property has 2 addresses, # 21 & #11. We pulled in and saw #11, but took us awhile to find out # 21 was on the other side of the home.

Great stay with friends

The home is recently remodeled and easy to find. It was very clean, great views, private and bigger than expected. My wife and I traveled with another couple. There was plenty of room to be together or separate if we wanted to. Six people would fit comfortably here. There was a grill, but we didn’t use it. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, but we chose to eat downtown most evenings. Asheville has lots of great restaurants. Lucy is a very gracious host and easy to talk to. We would definitely stay again!

Nice house!

The only complaint we would have would be about the dogs. We are both terrified of large dogs due to childhood experiences. Having them come running up to us was not fun. Other than that it was perfect.

Wonderful home and location for us

For my wife and I from NC plus brother and sister-in-law from Minnesota, this was a perfect property for our 5 day stay and for us to be able to introduce them to Asheville and the surrounding mountains, which still had really nice fall colors at the lower elevations. Our host, Lucy, provided everything we needed for our stay in her very comfortable home with many thoughtful extras. With only four of us, we had plenty of room to spread out and relax, but six could be equally comfortable in this spacious home. We enjoyed relaxing on the large, upper balcony with relaxing mountain views as well as on the comfortable covered entry's outdoor seating area. The pool table was a major bonus that we enjoyed. The property has an uncrowded country feel but is within half a mile of a convenient major supermarket, gas stations, several good restaurants, and large outlet mall. The location is minutes from and has easy highway access to downtown Asheville and all its many attractions, the Biltmore estate, entry to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and much more. We even enjoyed an admittedly long, circular day trip to Cherokee, the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and Gatlinburg, TN. We would stay here again without question with friends and family that need a home of this size.

Great Location

This house is in a great location for exploring Asheville. New updated bathrooms and kitchen were nice. Finding the street from the road can be tricky at night. Nice setting with mountain views.

Cozy stay!

Lucy was a great host and greeted us upon arrival. She was quick to respond for any questions we had, and the house is cozy and well kept! It’s close to Asheville and another attractions.

Asheville stay

Lucy provided a great Asheville getaway, she was very thorough during her check in process. The only issue we felt we had was that it wasn’t as private as our group would’ve liked. She stated during check in that she may be downstairs from time to time but that ended up not being the case during our stay. The location and property were great otherwise!

Wonderful Experience! Lucy Is a Great Host!!!!

The house was in a good location outside the city of Asheville and near the NC Arboretum, Outlet Mall, and Farmers Market. There was lots of space inside and very comfortable. Lucy was a great host and if we were to visit the area again, we would definitely seek to stay there again. Excellent!!!!

A great find, perfect fit for a family visiting the mountains.

Very comfortable house. Fit our family of 4 great. Good location: 15 mins from downtown Ashville, Blue Ridge parkway right there, Wicked weed brewery 5 mins down road. It was a great place for us. So much better than trying to cram into a hotel. Bathrooms have been recently upgraded and are fabulous. Our kids loved playing pool. We were a little confused pulling up but don't worry the place is great.

Beautiful home with gorgeous views

We live out of state and were visiting family in Asheville. My sister and me in our 50's and my mom in her 80's stayed at this beautiful home. A great set up for multiple people and the views are amazing. Lucy lives near and seems ready and willing to respond to any concerns. We had no concerns and a perfect visit. Can't wait to go back!

Great location and easy to get everywhere

We were in town for a baseball tournament at Bob Lewis ballpark and decided to come up a few days early to take the kids to the Biltmore for the first time and hit up a few breweries. Great location near the Asheville Outlets and less than a 5min drive to the ballpark. Property was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The remodeling made the house feel much newer and even the original portions still felt cozy. My 13 son now thinks he’s a pool shark after about 40 games of 8 Ball and my 16yo daughter found plenty of private seating places for Snapchat and TikTok throughout the house. Will certainly stay here again if we play in this tournament again.

Great long weekend

House was really convenient because we needed three bedrooms. Location was a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. Pool table was fun. Kitchen and bathrooms have plenty of room and gave us all the upgrades we needed.

We were at Asheville for a wedding and we really enjoyed staying at our VRBO.

Everyone thought we should another week but some of us get home. It was a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Very clean and comfortable.

Asheville getwaway

The property was well maintained, clean, and exactly as described with a beautiful view of the mountains. The house was well kept and the remodeled bathrooms was the highlight. Lucy was there to welcome us and showed us around the home. We (two families) loved the home and enjoyed the stay. The kids and the adults loved the pool table. Will be staying here again. We do strongly recommend this home.

Great Location, Awesome Views

The location was great, centrally located to Downtown Asheville, many restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc. The host was very accommodating and helpful and we had everything we needed during our stay. The house was very roomy and felt like home. We also LOVED the pool table and the best part was the beautiful view all around!

Great place for a mountain weekend with friends

Soccer tournament weekend

The house was what we needed for a weekend soccer tournament. We did cook and there were items available to use but a few other things could have been available. Salt and pepper, another skillet would have been nice but it was still very enjoyable.

Great house and location!!

The house was clean with thoughtful touches throughout the house. It had everything we needed to meet family and enjoy. The host was close and seemed to be concerned that we had a good stay. We did for sure!! The location was not far from stores and outlets. Perfect location. Will stay again!
