Great room for a stay in Florence. Room was clean and bed was comfy . Nice bathroom and the private garden is nice as I could open the doors to the garden and have nice fresh air and hear the birds . You are close to everything in city center with short walks . I used the tram everyday to commute and it’s a short walk to access the tram . The cafe within a few steps out the front door is great for pastries and coffee . The host was very helpful when I arrived helping me navigate the city and helping me access the tram for my first time . The only negative I have was I was on the ground floor and when the front door for the building closes in the middle of the night it can be loud when sleeping. I am giving it a 5 star because of all the positives about this unit outweigh that only slight negative comment but would be nice if that could solved . I would highly recommend this unit I loved it . Great city !

Outstanding location, excellent hosts with lots of great suggestions on local restaurants and getting around. The exclusive access garden is a pleasant add on to the studio. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was very centralized in the city, very close walking distance to many of the historical sites and shopping. A slight problem at first but the host took care of it immediately for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend it.

While staying here, you get a chance to live in the piece of history that's dating back to medieval times. The property is part of the Donati Tower and they say that the wife of Dante Alligeri was born here. The private garden with the beautiful Sphinx statue was just magical. Central location, close to arrival at the station and the center of it all. The hosts are very nice people and a pleasure to communicate with. They prepared the bottle of champagne as well as fresh fruits from the local market for our arrival. Mrs ruling 10 of 10 stars!

Quaint small apartment, excellent hosts,and location to get around Florence A few suggested additions would be a wardrobe closet to hang some clothes, jackets, and put away some clothing so not living out of suitcase A coffee station would be nice to have to enjoy the patio since we are not tea drinkersAnd 2 small end tables would be nice Overall great stay

Perfect location! The apartment was so lovely and of course the garden was divine! I would stay again, and the owners are awesome. They were very helpful with everything from how to get there to restaurant suggestions.

We highly recommend this property. The property owners were great and helped us identify some of the best places to see and eat. The location is private, yet in the heart of the city. We will be staying here again on future visits!

Hi Daniela, always smiling and kind host. We were a little surprised by your review, but perhaps the reason is that you needed a two-room apartment and not a studio apartment like ours, because you needed more space for your work. The studio, we believe, has everything people need for a perfect holiday and also has the unique feature in the historic center of Florence of having exclusive access to a private garden. Last but not least, in the Sphinx we have hosted almost exclusively couples of people, of all ages. With sincere friendship :) Antonella and Stefano
